    Cloud Chaser PG/VG Ratio

I made the dual twisted on a whim the other night. It was super easy. I just chucked an gun cleaning patch holder in the battery powered drill and a c-clamp on the bench and went to town... It was kinda fun. I am going to have to get me a better build deck, like the Plume Veil. The 454 is getting to be a bigger pain than it is worth to play on. I like the fact it has a 2 positives and 2 negative screw holes. I guess I am getting old and grumpy...

  2. Just purchased my first vapor kit today. So uneducated about this, but I will get it down eventually. I've got all these parts and do not know their names, but have only smoked 12 analogs today, along with vaping and the day is nearly over. I am a 2pk a day user for many, many, many years (45) It feels a bit strange, lungs not filling up with smoke or the tip is hard not soft like a cig, and remembering to hold that button(!) Jeech. I have two different bottles of liquid. Got the full Menthol first this am, took it home and could not hit it...hurt too much on throat and lungs. Went back and got a flavored liquid (candy cane) and its much better. The outfit I got is a Itazte vv. Don't understand those digital numbers at the end of the unit (she set it for me at the store). Can I charge it intact or do I need to disassemble it? just looking over all the questions helps me know this a bit more. Thanks, Peggy in Houston, TX

  3. The Kick2 is a power regulated digital switch-mode DC-DC converter for personal vaporizers in the form of a drop in module. It features controlled power from 5 to 15 watts and runs from a single lithium battery. It works in exactly the same way as the original Kick but boasts a higher maximum power and employs synchronous rectification for superior efficiency. The Kick2 also boasts mod resistance compensation to ensure a more accurate power delivery. Output Power: 5 Watts to 15 Watts Output Voltage: 2 Volts to 6.3 Volts Output Current: 6 Amps atomizer resistances: 0.5 Ohms to 3.3 Ohms low battery cutoff: 2.7 Volts loaded

  4. You might get some vegetable glycerin and add a few drops to your juice. That will dilute the flavor just a bit but won't harm the juice. When I get some that is too thin and won't produce enough vapor for my tastes, that's what I do. I got a small bottle of food grade VG at Hobby Lobby in the aisle where they have all the cake decorating stuff.

  5. Tiger coils can be up to 1.5 in a dual set or even single. It takes about 13 wraps for per coil for the dual. It just depends on the wire used for the twist. If you want higher resistance use 30g round and .5 flat for the twist. You will get a good cloud and good flavor. The Tiger coil is the best of both IMO. If you are using 28g round and .9 flat you can still get a 1ohm single coil with around 11-12 wraps.

  7. Innokin iClear 30B and iClear X.1. Both 2.1 ohms, 30B came with the kit. Also have replacement 1.5 ohm coils, but I am certain that the coils are fine.

  8. I prefer the terms Max VG or PG Free. As far as the water goes, unless your taking in more than your lungs can absorb, ( AKA Drowning) Distilled water will not harm you.

How do you like the Hana Modz?

I agree with Tam. A clone does not automatically mean crap gear. Also, keep in mind we have a lot of people trying new things and new gear who dont know what they are doing, frankly, and are quick to put up a bad review and blame equipment when it is their own lack of knowledge that is the real culprit. Im inclined to dismiss bad reviews unless it's overwhelming and not balanced. A few bad reviews means nothing and in the case of popular gear it could even be more "bad reviews" than expected. I figure for every bad review you gotta think over half and probably more are user error.

  10. That's not entirely true, it depends on what the clone is -- RDA, RTA or battery, etc. and who it's made by. Some clones are better than others. For batteries that go into an APV, I'd never knowingly use a clone. Some RDAs, I've heard people say it's as good, or sometimes better, than the original. It all depends on the manufacturer of the clone itself.

  11. Not being familiar with the Cool Fire, I'm just guessing here. Is there a floating pin on the 510 connector? If so, that pin might've gotten pushed down and isn't making contact with the coil in your tanks. Take a paper clip or needle and gently push the sides of the center pin to pull it up a little. Even though this video is for an eGo battery, it's the same fix.

Not true kngfdrgn. First if it can be utilized in a true mechanical mod then all you have to take into consideration is the amp rating of the battery. Use ohms law and determine what resistance is safe to vape at with that voltage. Next option is making a box mod using said battery, at the moment tye only high rated momentary switch is a large 60a marine switch, or you can use the tried and true meathod of building a box with a MOSFET, resistor, and any momentary switch you wish. I have a series box mod I made that runs a 8.4v lipo with a MOSFET, resistor and tactile switch and it functions flawlessly. The lipo is a 60a, but I tend to stay around .5-.7 ohms which uses around 14 amps and 117 watts

  13. What kind of "tanks" are you using, and have you checked the resistance on them?

  14. Yes I was working on a Mounds Bar like Juice (My Favorite) Still looking for the right chocolate flavor that one. I will be doing a Almond Joy type vape soon that is one of the coconut ones I'm will be having soon.

    Needing suggestions.

I had the same problem making the switch to vaping and not feeling the satisfaction.I've been vaping for about a year or so now and I was thinking the other day that I haven't even thought about a cigarette in a very long time.Stick to it,you'll be glad you did down the road.

  16. ok guys, all reported bugs and suggestions have been completed as of this morning. (Though you might have to hit the F5 key to clear your cache) Font is now 14, font is darker, purple highlight removed etc...

  17. Good observation... Big Tobacco wants your first experience with e-cigs to be a bad one, so you'll be a tool for them in slandering the legit products.... They break, they taste horrid, they don't last long, they're too expensive, they don't taste like real tobacco, etc. etc.

  18. as far as I'm concerned they (big tobacco) did that on purpose to keep people smoking

    Needing suggestions.

Also keep in mind that if you're using tanks, it's best not to go more than 70 VG max or your coil will have trouble wicking the juice and you might get dry hits. The more VG = more vapor but it also means thicker juice.

  20. Your EVOD is fine... your nicotine level is most likely the issue. If you smoked anywhere near a pack a day, 18mg will be the bare minimum you'll require to get through the craving times (morning, before bed, after meals, etc.). If you smoked more than a pack a day, it would not hurt to try 24mg juices too... Nicotine is NOT the problem, so don't feel bad if you have to have higher levels to fight through the cravings! Also, using a higher VG% juice will produce more vapor, which many people find to also ease the transition, because you get the sensation of smoking (thicker vapor production). Higher VG will also reduce the throat hit (TH), so your draw will not be as "harsh".... this is a good thing for higher nicotine levels.
