nitecore charger not charging
Compenstine and one other reacted to Earthling789 for a topic
I have two nite-core chargers (i4's), and never experienced this, and one of my chargers is a couple years old. They are warranted, so I'd see about getting a replacement... Even if it's new, that doesn't guarantee that it's not defective or damaged, unfortunately2 points -

Surely there will be a market for more advanced vaping. Dont you think that Big Tobacco will support this? In the form of "sister" companies catering to this need? Otherwise I would expect a huge underground market. I just don't see how they can stop it. It's just too dang easy to produce your own gear and juice. The amount of regulation required to limit consumer purchase of hardware, ingredients, etc is mind boggling. They would have to redesign and trademark batteries etc. It's crazy. I'll take my dozen protanks and hobble along with what I have for years if necessary....they'll have to pry my vape from my cold dead hand, lol...1 point

Thanks, Christopher. Right? I can hardly believe it myself. I'm trying to picture what a pile of 12,000 cigarettes would look like.1 point -
Big Tobacco killing us?
Christopher reacted to mcquinn for a topic
Actually I kind of suspect if anything allows vaping to continue at all it will be "Big Tobacco" I am pretty sure to avoid past mistakes they investigated vaping pretty thoroughly before getting onboard . They must be pretty confident they can survive the legal and political attacks that are in the near future. I have noticed that health insurance companies have extended their language for tobacco use to include nicotine delivery devices.1 point -
Any Black Friday event?

Dude, definitely a load of good stuff! Judge from my using experience, I thought you should try Naultus, mini with istick, egrip is a good one after the release of its rba coil base! These are available on http://www.heavengifts.com/article/Retail-Sales-10-off-Entire-Store-Thank_253.html, I fan on them!1 point -

This is true of both. Rants because it's often uncensored and deals because we try to limit spam in the new content section. (When we had it enabled suppliers were really pounding the new content area with "deals") Eventually though I'd like to rid of the deals area on the forum completely and opt for something on the front end of the site (with a link up on the main menu) ECF has a coupon/deals system and we're working to create something similar. I'd also like to add in features that break the deals down IE coils, tanks, batts etc etc And damn Bebop when did you end up with 2,870 posts! How quickly a year and a half flies by.1 point -
Hmm. My mother told my my first word was 'Studebaker'. Or 'vacuum cleaner' she wasn't sure which. Anyway those cars along with many others were built in the day when workmanship was still a valuable commodity. But, I always thought the Silver and Golden Hawks were supposed to be Stude's hot cars. I didn't even know they made them with a 6 banger. Anyway, I do think 'Avanti' would be a great name for a mod, or a rock band. Actually I know this post isn't very informative, but it'll make number 14 so TugBoatTx86 can get a 'hot' designation.1 point

Hi Jon, My name is Jon also with no 'h' and it's always misspelt! Hence my moniker. Anyway it sure sounds like you got good advise here. I too started with those (at the time about 2009) expensive cigalikes. They were such a disappointment. The batteries (white part) were unreliable, and the filter looking part didn't have any consistency of flavour or vapour production. I gave it all up as a bad job and went back to analogues and resigned myself to hacking myself to death. Then I discovered eGo twist and tanks and a whole new world opened up. I've been smoke free for about 18 months and I now feel better than I did at 12 when I bought my first pack 50 years ago. I can now run up stairs without being winded and don't get muscle cramps and my arm doesn't 'fall asleep' when I park my head on it when sleeping. And taste and smell have improved immensely. I still sometimes can't believe I can actually enjoy life without cigs cigars or pipe. I was a heavy hitter, as I smoked 2 packs or reds or Dunhill full flavour for most of my smoking career. Good luck to you, namesake, it's a good choice.1 point -
My dad is a Studebaker guy. I really like them too. He still has the one he took to college, a 1958 Silverhawk. He is going to restore it some day... ;-) It is in pretty sad shape. I would like to do it for him one day, we just have different ideas. He wants stock... I want a stroked smallblock chevy with fuel injection, a/c and overdrive. He is happy with the flathead 6 and 3 on the tree....and floor start...lol The biggest problem is I don't have the time, money, or patience!1 point

I mostly meant ....I think aspire should only include the atlantis with there own mod to help avoid improper use, along with a warning about sub ohming. asfar as coil hit or miss....im referring to kanger mostly.i went through 4 5 pack.....out of all those coils,i ended up with 7 coils that burned longer than 4 days.most were shorted out, assembled wrong and wouldn't install properly.ive only used a few aspire coil, sofar they were all decent.a few only lasted 2 days, some lasted 2 weeks.1 point

If it wasn't for spell check, and 23 edits per post, y'all would think I was illiterate. My mistakes are not typos, they are because I can't spell. Ms Wilbanks would be upset....1 point

Broke Or Soar Throat?

I put in a coil that I had taken from the box when I was having issues with the clogged tank and it seems to be working beautifully with your PBFB juice.1 point -

All of my issues have been addressed by others. Looks good. A couple of forums don't come up on "new content" (which I use almost exclusively) Rants is one. Maybe that's by design. I think another one I miss unless I look for it manually is supplier "deals". I like to know when vendors (including VT) run specials but those never come up on "new content" (may be by design as well).1 point -

Returning to my vape after 7 months
Ken Light reacted to AmericanWoman for a topic
Hi everyone! I'm not exactly new to vaping... although I seem to have forgotten most of what I knew. Bought my first ego a couple of years ago. Worked great for me. Due to a lot of personal stress last May I started smoking and laid my vape down. Now I'm ready to resume and WoW I can't believe how much things have changed!! Prices have gone up quite a bit also... or is it just me? I bought a new Kanger Mini Protank II last week. Long story short is my coils seems to be burning out at an alarming rate. Bought a new one yesterday and it's been popping and cracking after about the first couple of hours. I read that Kanger is made in China. Are these inferior? Last atomizer I used I bought at FreedomSmoke and it had a long wick type of coil. Forgive me if I get the jargon wrong.. I'm not as young as I'd like to think. Anyhow I'm very frustrated that I've gone through 2 coils in a week. I used to get a couple of months out of the other type I used but I don't see them anywhere. I'm not sure I'm up for rebuilding? I just need a coil that will work with the atomizer I have for maximum duration. Hope this makes sense. It took me forever to even decide on a forum. They're everywhere!! Thank you in advance.1 point -

My God! Came home for lunch & my Kanger setup was waiting in the mailbox. Such a better puff & the variable voltage rules! & the tank came with an extra coil on top of the 2 5 packs I ordered. Will keep the Zig Zag for backup, but this thing makes the experience that much more fulfilling. Thanks again for all of the advice guys!1 point -

Ok. After using a real vape this afternoon, I took a puff of the vuse tonight. I see what you mean about the taste now. Wow...1 point -
If you don't buy anything more right now, you really need to get more coils. Usually, a stock coil will last around a couple of weeks but you never know when they'll go out and if your only back up coil will work and/or last long enough to get more. We're a broken record around here about back ups. And back ups of back ups. We can't emphasize that enough.1 point
