Everybody has to have an opinion on this...So tell us if you like it, hate it, not sure/don't care, and why? Aspire has recently released its newest clearomizer tank to its line up and it is a game changer... The tank is called the Aspire Atlantis. This is the first replaceable coil tank to come SUB-OHMED! That's right a replaceable coil clearomizer tank that comes with 0.5ohm coils, and adjustable airflow that opens up quite a bit for massive airflow for big lung hits. They have also introduced a new sealed non adjustable battery for this tank that charges off a usb charger but works like a mech mod. no adjustments. IMO: not a very noob friendly tank as I didn't see any battery warnings or campatibility warnings. Also this tank gives the lazy noobs the ability to blow some huge clouds and keep up with the sub-ohmed rebuildable tanks and drippers. I'll leave it at that: what do you guys think?

  3. Got an XVP DNA 40 and a bunch of NI200 wire from a trade I did with Copper today. I have not had a chance to really check this out in all it's glory, but I did run a couple tanks on it with Kanthal and my ToBH on it. So far I like it with a Kanthal build. I will be doing some builds with the NI200 for my KPT2 and for a ToBH later tonight.

I've heard about the lack of warning/info included with the atlantis tank and agree the safety aspect should be included whith the product. However, I take issue with your discription of "lazy noobs". Everyone of us were noobs at some point. We choose our path as we learn what works for us. Unfortuinately if we call ppl lazy because they are new, they likely won't ask questions to learn the important facts that go along with a product like this. Our goal should be focused on education for all. Promoteing that for the new members/vapers. I don't meen to rant, just would hate to see a guest/lurker to feel like they can't ask a question for fear of being labled.

I somewhat agree, I think this may be a disaster as there are too many people I see getting this tank that have no clue about such things and get hurt.

  7. Personally I find sub-ohming in any form to be a little ridiculous and sort of a black eye on vaping in general. I have tried to be respectful and not voice that opinion near as often as I would like but with this tank coming out its just another way to make vaping a little more dangerous. Like I said when I see a news story about vaping its always the tattooed guy with piercings and ear stratchers (not judging, I am covered in tattoos lol) that gets featured making the mainstream think this is the "norm" for vapers. I never see a husband and wife that use standard Ego devices to keep off cigarettes featured. Its not all that unlike when Colorado and other states legalized cannabis. It wasn't the businessman in line at the shop buying cannabis on the news, it was the unemployed unkempt dreadlock 20 something still living in his dads basement that was featured. Again I mean no offense but subohming, cloud chasing and all the other "hobbyist" aspects of vaping completely steal the message that we are doing this to quit smoking.

  8. havent used mine in a long time, but I have a spinner II used to use it with my ET-S tanks and run at about 3.8v most of the time @ 1.8ohms.

  9. The only problem now (even though I may not get it until after the holidays) I am itching for a higher wattage, bigger box mod. I know it is just an excuse... It will run fine on my MPV, my mechanicals, or possibly even my tiny iStick, although it will look funny....

  10. I fall victim to this all of the time, please forgive me! I make fun of my parents all of the time and some of the old timers at work but at the end of the day I always turn to them when I need true wisdom. I am really glad that old dogs can learn new tricks! I am sure before much longer, I will be an old dog. (I feel that way now when my grand kids bring new x-box games over....except RockBand... I'm still the champ)

  11. Is that a serious question? That's the main reasons most of us started vaping.

  12. I've worked IT for pushing 20 years... I've seen and heard my fair share of "computer humor", lol... It is true, that some people shouldn't own a computer... And, being in charge of several servers, I constantly hear, "the server is down"... regardless of user-error, printer-malfunction, or the fact they can't realize they're logging in with the caps-lock on My absolute favorite, though... A lady in the office was having issues getting documents to scan. I worked with her over the phone (which was my first mistake), and it took forever to get the basics of the problem. She couldn't tell me what model printer/scanner she was using, couldn't tell if she was using a flat-bed or paper-feed model... so I asked her to describe how she was performing the "scan" (hoping to glean some insight to the hardware).... She was quite huffy with me at this point, and told me, "How hard is this... I'm holding the sheets up to the (MONITOR'S) screen, and hitting this da** 'PRT SCR' button a million times, and it just won't scan them!! This stupid piece of sh** is worthless!!"

Severas things for your to try: is Your switch Spring loaded?, and if so, what type of material is the switch. I had the same problem with a no name mod that had a cheap metal spring. and changed the spring from another one I had laying around made out of brass and solved the problem. Like if the coil of the spring was causing it to heat up. Try removing the spring and fire if you can without the spring to isolate the issue. If it doesn't heat up, then your spring is the issue. You may be able to convert it to repelling magnet switch depending on the design of your switch. If it's not spring loaded, try cleaning the contacts with a Q-Tip and A tad of polishing compound. Then clean with alcohol. If your contact are porous that might be the problem. If you have a dremel you can try to rectify it. Clean with alcohol to ensure you don't leave particles sitting on the contact. Let us know if that helped.

  14. I have ordered from them in the past and always had quick delivery and good service from Sweet Vapes. They do rock! They are one of few I highly recommend.

  15. You can let it steep for a while, but I never really felt like sweet Vapes juice needed steeping. I would give it a week or two.

    Growing Trend

You mean we won't have to be relegated to the leper colony on the Group W bench with jonnoh, anymore? Don't think I'll live to see that day, but sure is nice to think about.
