  1. Well, I joined the community the other day and after introducing myself and asking some questions I got some great help! The advice I received was to start vaping with better equipment than what I had ordered online from mistic. Well I'm really dedicated to quit smoking this time and bit the bullet and invested. I bought the kanger evod starter kit and a bottle of fuzion vapor roundhouse with cream. I'm really happy with the kit and would really suggest it to anyone who wants to start vaping. It was 44.95 for the kit and 12.00 for the juice, I found it at a vape shop near me. I love the juice, it's like strawberries and cream, I decided to stay away from tobacco for now. Thanks for everyone's help!

  2. There is also one other thing you can do. I have the KPT 2 minis and I found that if I enlarge the hole I get better air flow and flavor. Get the smallest drill bit you can find 1/64th or smaller and open up one of the holes. You don't want to open it up to much, about the diameter of a paper clip. Just one should be enough. The base is very soft metal and it can be done by hand no drill needed.

  4. Congrats on your purchase! The EVOD kits are truly bullet-proof! I will also suggest, now that you've got your starter-kit... start researching here, and asking questions for your next purchases... You don't have to buy everything tomorrow, and you don't really have to buy anything more either, but you'll eventually WANT to upgrade to bigger batteries and/or bigger or better Pyrex tanks. It's just a natural progression Besides, having a couple more tanks and batteries will always be a good thing, especially as you try new juices, or if you find you like 3-4 flavors (each flavor in their own tank for simplicity). The kit you have is likely 650mAh batteries, which should last you all day (or most of the day), so buying higher mAh batteries should be on your future-purchase list, as well as additional tanks... Just buying one here, one there is a good way to add to your kit without breaking the bank. The KPT2 mini, and KPT2 will take the same coils as your EVODs, if you're looking for Pyrex tanks. Also, with the battery you're using, I'd suggest picking up a box of replacement coils in 1.5 or 1.8 Ohm size... You'll find they will vape better

  5. It's likely not the coil... it's probably the juice. Some juices just don't handle high Wattages very well. The stock Nautilus is a great tank, and I vape mine between 10 and 15W for my preferred juices (usually 10-12W). Anything beyond 15W, and my juices taste like garbage, regardless of device. If you're after more cloud, increase your VG content by adding a few drops to the tank, or buying higher VG juices, but be aware that few "tanks" can handle more than 70% VG (some can't handle more than 50% VG) without clogging up (slow wicking / poor wicking), which will burn your juices too. Once you burn a juice in a tank, you pretty much have to dump the juice, clean the tank, and start with a fresh coil... else the flavor of "burn" will stay for a long time. I've heard a lot of people taking Nautilus tanks to 20W, 30W, 50W, etc.... but every time I hear someone doing it to those extremes, they all say the same thing... burnt juice and/or fried coils... The stock coils are just not built to handle that much power... and neither are most juices! An RDA may be what you're looking for... but a rebuildable tank (RTA), such as a Kayfun/Russian/Orchid (to me) seem to operate best in the 1.2-1.8 Ohm ranges anyway, so that puts you right back where you were with Wattage limits, although the flavors tend to be better through an RTA than a standard tank... RTA's are for flavor-chasers... RDA's are for cloud-chasers... So, it boils down to what YOU want out of the vape... warm? go lower Ohms... clouds? go higher VG and/or switch to RDA... but if you move to ANY rebuildable, please, please, please, do your research here and on youtube to understand what you're doing... SAFETY FIRST... buy and USE an Ohm-meter, buy quality (high-drain/high-Amp) batteries, and use quality devices!!

  8. At one point, even the genuine Kanger coils that were being sold, experienced a bad batch. Since then, the coils have gotten better. Comp's custom coils are amazing! He stands behind his work and gives excellent customer service. But I will say that his juices are even better.

    First RDA experience

Omega clone, loaded it up and went for broke. After I quit coughing, my head spinning and eyes finally stopped watering I realized my regular 24mg juice was not going to work! After I went to 8mg I got a little more control of this thing and wow what a taste difference.

    Purchasing juice with Paypal

I used PayPal to pay the penny that was required to verify that I was over 18 to order the free juice from Apollo yesterday. It looks like you can still get 2 free bottles to try it. http://www.apolloecigs.com/mobile/product.aspx?ProductCode=free%2Dbottles&404;http://www.apolloecigs.com:80/Free-Eliquid-p/free-bottles.htm=

  11. So long as your wall wort is putting out 5v you are fine your battery charger will regulate that output down to the 4.2 v and 420mA. I have a wall wort that has a 15V output (ASUS Tablet) that would burn out the battery charger you show in your pic.

  13. Yes it's fine. That's a standard 5v wall adapter. And your charger hss the correct rating.

    Vamo V5 button trouble

This is not an "I told you so" but we hear about things like this from people who bought hardware from eBay quite often. That's why we never recommend eBay as a vendor for e-cigarettes.

  17. Just another reason why wall chargers should be used and e-cigs should not be plugged into your computer. Thanks for the link to the article.

  18. In it, Christopher demonstrates how the way you draw on a cig-a-like style effects how much vapor you get....whhich is still relevant today but less so with modern tanks like we have todday.....
