I love how people on this forum are willing to help out others with equipment and juice. But, I also want to remind each and everyone of you that all of you that have been vaping for awhile are paying it forward in another way. That way would be with your knowledge. The way that some you are willing to help us newbies out is amazing. I hope one day I will be able to speak up and help a newbie to walk the right path of vaping in order to dump the stink sticks in a positive way as many of you have done for me...3 points

I believe most of us on this forum pay it forward, some more than others and many prefer to keep silent about it. We have a great bunch of members here who just rock!2 points

Hi everyone, Just found this forum through the Velvet Vapors web site. Been vaping since 2008, but recently started looking for a new forum that better suited me. Hope to find a happy home here. copper1 point

So, many of you jumped in to help me get started with vaping, whether it was w/ juice, back up battery or replacement parts. I appreciated every single act of generosity more than I can say. Honestly it renewed my hubby's faith in people (he is extremely jaded). That being said, money is still extremely tight, but since I have received so much help, I decided to try and help others when I can. Started with the guy that works at the store by my house. He recently started vaping to kick smoking, and I noticed that he was using nasty gas station juice. So we brought him one of our bottles to show him that there are really good quality juices out there, along with a few recommendations on where he can buy quality juice. Then last week, hubby was approached by a guy at work whose dad is a 30+ year smoker who is dealing with several hope issues. He was asking hubby what all he should buy his dad to get him started. So, hubby, knowing that I have been on this forum night and day asked me to make up a list. I decided to do one better. I put together a vape package. A battery, a tank, and extra coil, plus about 6 different juices in varying nic levels. I included a note with a link to where to buy a charger (I didn't have an extra, and links to online stores with great juices(dad doesn't drive). So, I will continue on this path. I already feel so much better without smoking. I want to spread the wealth! So I am challenging anyone that has received help from the vaping community to jump up and help someone else when you can. If I have learned one thing in this journey so far, it is that people want to ask for help, but are too embarrassed to do it, and we can offer help! Hugs to all of you!!!1 point

Paying it Forward
Mirage reacted to Earthling789 for a topic
Paying it forward, be it juice, hardware, or knowledge is just a way to give back by helping others. I've never been in a 12-step program, but I feel the best way to kick any habit is to have loving support of your friends and family (like everyone here on this forum)... and helping others overcome your habit/addiction is one of the best feelings in the world! I no longer keep track of the things I've given away (lost count), but will continue to give what I can, when I can... either basic eGo-starter-kits I've assembled for 'just-in-case-noob' moments, freebies/gifts I've received but won't ever use, or hardware I no longer use/need...1 point -

good morning, I don't know anything about this site.I've been vaping for a year and a half .for 3 months I use nicotine, I went out bought a bottle of nicotine some flavors and some VG and PG.started making my own juice..in 3 months I was down 2 drops.I still have a half a bottle of a hundred percent pure nicotine juice.have to have back and neck surgery.so I had to quit.tried patches gum you name it.a friend of mine handed me a cigarette but is a lectric , I told myself this is not going to work this your horrible.everything went so fast next day I went out got a mod, tank.and for the first 3 4 months, it was like chasing the dragon trying to get that nicotine high but I could never get it.but it took the edge off that's what's important.best thing I ever did in my life, quit smoking.I'm old too, now I can smell it a mile away.you've heard people say I still get cravings for one once in awhile, not me at all.I still vape for fun, and I have something in my hand for some reason, just like your remote control for the television.it does work though you can stop smoking, I know you can.start off right , not like I did.I'll put it this way I will take the withdrawals , that's what kills you.I am a very addictive person, very very addictive.it only takes once for me.no more nasty habits for me.three and a half years without a drink or a beer.little over a year without a cigarette.I am so bored .is there's anybody in Salt Lake City reading this, please let me know, I would know how to get back to the page.I need help with my car, top of that I'm disable, I can't walk I can drive, much slower than before.thank you for reading this if anybody read this or whatever I'm doing I'm doing it right.I need to take the door panel off my car can somebody help me, I'll pay.thanks again.velvet vapors, sounds like a bunch of nice people.1 point -

100% VG, How is this possible?
Compenstine reacted to copper for a topic
Perhaps I should not have posted that because this does seem to be a controversial topic. But essential oils are not oils in the typical sense. The are "concentrated hydrophobic liquid containing volatile aroma compounds from plants". In fact, I have seen food chemists state that these essential oils are already in many of the food flavorings that we are already using. I am not arguing your point because I just don't know. Just stating what I have seen so far. DISCLAIMER: I am just starting to learn about essential oils in DIY primarily as a means of eliminating PG in my liquids. Any going down this path should do their own research to make sure it is safe.1 point -
So your primary interest is big vapor production, a.k.a. cloud chasing? Are you interested in learning to build coils and use rebuildable atomizers? What are you currently using on top of your MVP?1 point

So, I got a new Vamo. This is my first official mod. I have been using ego batteries for the past year. It came with a battery and the device and nothing else. Does anyone have a link to directions for this thing? It seems like it is just too much for the CE4 I have been using. Does anyone have a suggestion on what kind of tank I should use with the Vamo?1 point

I Keep Returning To Analogs :-(
jonnoh reacted to bcartervol98 for a topic
After almost three months, even if it were proven analogs and ecigs were identical health risks I would still continue to vape over analogs. I wish I could say I understand, but for me vaping is far more satisfying, calming, and pretty sure I get more nicotine now than before just not all the other garbage. I struggle however with calling my switch to vaping "quitting smoking" but rather a switch to a much healthier alternative I prefer anyway.1 point
