I started vaping 3 weeks ago, as a smoking cessation. I have not had a cigarette since. But there is a problem... I seriously enjoy vaping! The smells the flavors and the super cool hardware. Started out by getting ripped off at a local shop... well I definitely paid too much. But I recouped the loss by getting a smoking hot deal on an eVic and a Nautilus. Wow! What a difference. Already burned out one coil, so I learned how to rebuild the coil. I even changed the BDC to a BVD! I noticed while ordering new tubes, I can get an easy head and build the old tubes into a regulated or unregulated mod. I'm gonna make it into my dripper with an RDA. Any suggestions?

    Stupidest Question Ever?

I don't believe there is such a thing as a "stupid question." There are, however, an infinite number of stupid answers.

  4. YES... and Kudos for your quick (and well said) answers... see, you're learning faster than you thought I'll add to the OP to also look at our preferred vendors section on the home-page of the forum. These vendors are allowed to be "preferred" for a reason There are plenty of great online shops (as well as local Brick-and-Mortar sites), but be wary of any deal that seems too good to be true (i.e. eBay, Craigs List, etc.), as they usually are selling knock-offs, seconds, cheap-clones, etc. That being said, there are some really good clones, and some really good knock-offs/re-brands that can be had for big $ savings... but they are hit-and-miss

  6. Best battery for a beginner? Simple is best in my mind. I would vote for either an Evod Twist or a Vision Spinner 2. Both are simply plug and play. lol Easy to charge, easy to use. Get a starter kit or just get the battery by itself, and buy a tank separately. Good tanks would be either a Protank or a Nautilus. Juices are subjective. Look for flavor profiles that suit your personal tastes. As to nicotine level, that depends on you. I'm a pack a day smoker, so I started with a high nicotine level (24 and 18), but you can get levels all the way down to 0.

  7. I suggest you download a juice calculator it would make what your wanting to do very easy. (1 part = 5ml) If you cut 1 part 24mg 60/40 to 1 part 0mg 100VG you get, 12mg 30/70 = 10ml 50% flavor reduction If you cut 1 part 24mg 60/40 to 2 parts 0mg 100VG you get, 8mg 20/80 = 15ml 66.7% flavor reduction If you cut 1 part 24mg 60/40 to 3 parts 0mg 100VG you get, 6mg 15/85 = 20ml 75% flavor reduction If you cut 1 part 24mg 60/40 to 4 parts 0mg 100VG you get, 4.8mg 12/88 = 25ml 80% flavor reduction I know this really don't answer the math of it, but I figured to would spark your memory.

Sounds like you hit the ground running! Welcome! You have been at this for a shorter time then me, and yet you know way more. lol I've been vaping since August, but only gave up cigarettes for good a couple of weeks ago. It is fantastic isn't it? I have no idea about dripping, but I'm sure you will get plenty of replies. People here are quite helpful with info. Have fun! Michelle

  9. Well...the Vapor Talk store comes to mind. You'll only find genuine name brand products (no knock offs ever!), low prices, and excellent customer service.

  10. Yes, change the coil. If you're wanting to clean the coil, instead of dry burning, try soaking it in vodka for a few hours, rinse well and let dry overnight.

    Stupidest Question Ever?

I use water for rinsing out my tanks and drip tips. Alcohol for coils only. Never had a problem doing this. Also, I've diluted an overly thick juice with a drop of two of distilled water with no problem. Virgin Vapor uses water in some of their juices, which is where I got the idea. Oh, and this is not the stupidest question ever, Jonnoh. You'll have to do better than this to top the "stupidest" question. Lol

  12. OMG This topic is brilliant. I never knew about these functions on my MVPs. I sorta in my electronically challenged mind, thought that it was like screwing a 100 w light bulb into a 12 v socket. It wouldn't do much because of not enough volts. But discovering I wasn't just adjusting watts to voltage and vice versa, but changing on which the unit was functioning. (Not sure I said that right) or whatever I'm doing, has given my MVP more dimensions than I even knew it had. It has made a big improvement in flavour and vapour production. Amazing! Thanks so much to all who provided this info. I shall study all these posts and hopefully become smarter.

    Kangor mini pro II leak

A follow up......yup, teflon plumbers tape, tear of a piece, roll it up like a string, wrap it around....bingo. And a $1 roll of it would make, oh, maybe 5000 o rings ........ and any size you want.
