    The change over?

I agree with the smart people here! Do what works for you. If 24 is working good go for it! I have been thinking about stepping down to a lower nicotine level, but with the stresses of work, and life in general, my cravings have crept back in a bit lately. So I have decided to scrap the plan. I an not worried one bit about the nicotine level in my body. Sure I would like to no longer be dependent on nicotine, but I'm happy for now not being dependent on analogs. One day at a time! Good Luck!

    The change over?

Yes you will get more throat hit with the 24mg. As far as the lady at the vape shop, Ignore her advice, she doesn't understand that 18mg is just not enough for some people. Everyone is different and their setups are different. You proved to your self that the 24mg took the edge off that you needed. That tells me that you definitely want to start at 24mg. You can always drop back as your cravings subside. When you do start to drop back, make sure you have some 24 on hand in case you feel strong cravings.

    Clouds from a tank?

I agree with everyone else... no factory tank with factory pre-built coils will make huge clouds, with maybe the exceptions Bebop mentioned... then again, they still will not equal an RDA. If you want HUGE clouds, you'll need to evolve into using an RDA (dripper) or RTA (tank like Kayfun, Russian, Orchid, or perhaps including a Genesis tank like a Kraken). To get the big clouds, you have to have good airflow, high VG content juice, and very low resistance (sub-ohm) coil(s)... which also means you have to have a battery that will handle high-AMP draw. Your MVP will only let you go down to 0.8 Ohms at the VERY lowest, and at that point, your Amps/Wattage/Voltage are limited by the device, so you're output will not equal 0.8 Ohms on an un-regulated MOD with a good 18650 battery. I get satisfying vapor out of my AeroTank/MVP set-up... using 50/50 juices, but the factory coils tend to give out quickly with thick juices. A Nautilus (as Tam suggested) may produce more vapor (and last longer) with the BVC coils. My Russians produce great vapor (near or exceeding my Magma RDA), which is more than enough for me ... then again, they are RTA's and I'm building them @ 1.0-1.4 Ohm and using them primarily on an un-regulated MOD (but have used them with my MVP)!

  7. I'll give Sweet-Vapes a try. I used to buy the VaporTalk juices, they were always prettty awesome so I'll give that one a try.

  8. When you start vaping, a rare few of us can make the change to vaping on day one and not look back... but it is a rare few Several members here have admitted to hanging onto that last pack (or carton) for weeks, months, even years after vaping... just in case... There's nothing wrong with slipping back to an analog, seriously! But each time you do, you'll find they are less appealing than you remember. They'll taste worse, smell worse, and make you feel ill... and the longer you can go without them, the more pronounced the effect will be. Bebop is spot-on... Nicotine is only one of 4000+ chemicals you are/were addicted to, on top of the hand-to-mouth action and smell of the smoke! Vaping is a good way to quit, but you have to rid yourself of all the other toxins by sticking with vaping. Flavor, nicotine, vapor, and hand-to-mouth action will help you with those cravings you have, but don't beat yourself up if you slip and have a smoke while you're training your body and mind to accept a (healthier) alternative. The cigarette police won't come and kick down your door... unless of course you live in NYC or LA

  9. Hi Michelle, Jon here, and I don't think anyone is a lost cause. I am probably right up there on the die hard smokers list since I started at 12 and did 2 packs of reds or since living in Malaysia, Dunhill full flavour for nearly 50 years. It's been more than 500 days since I've vaped full time and it's now working totally for me. I too tried all the tricks to quit and added acupuncture, hypnosis, and of course patches and gum. Sheesh. The thing most helpful to me was to become informed about all the other chemicals in cig smoke that are highly addictive besides nicotine. If nicotine was the only addictive property, than using a patch and a fake cigarette for the hand to mouth habit would probably be a highly effective quitting method, but as we all know they hardly ever work for the long haul. Nicotine in high doses and clouds of vapour are really a great substitute for smoking when it works well. Good flavours help to because you learn to look forward to vaping. However vapour doesn't replace all those other chemicals your body is used to so you have to be vigilant and actively work at getting off those other chemicals. Die hard smoker and all, and totally fearful of life without cigs, I am now so happy with it. Even though I am one of the weird ones that still loves the smell of cigs pipes and cigars, and purposely go to the smoking lounge at airports to get my fix of second hand smoke, being without cigs has become totally painless to the point of not even ever thinking about it except when I get a glimpse of all those rows of shiny packs at places like 7 11. A quick twinge of nostalgia and that's it. Hang in there and keep vaping even if you don't stop cigs all the way right away. It really does get better. I wish you the best of luck.

  10. Comp's gonna be good cop I'm gonna be bad cop haha You "think" it's the nicotine from the cig. But what it actually is, is the oxygen deprivation giving you the rush and euphoria. It's the tar and crap you're body is used to getting. It's no different than any other drug or chemical addiction. You fed the monkey and he loosened his grip a little.......a little. Welcome to chemical addiction. Okay, good cops... take over....

    Clouds from a tank?

I have to agree with Bebop. There are no tanks with premade coils that are going to give you HUGE clouds like an RDA and sub-ohm coils. That said, get yourself a Nautilus or a Nautilus mini with the vertical coils in either 1.5 or 1.8 ohm. Add some high VG juice and you should be able to put out some vapor. My Nautilus mini with 1.8 ohm vertical coil and 50/50 juice puts out more vapor than I usually want. There have been times when I had to turn on a fan and open the window -- it got a little dense in the room. YMMV.

  12. Ohhh Your in Trouble! I'm Tell'en.... Oh wait you just told on yourself. LOL Don't worry about too much, it happens when you first get started Vaping. You may want to consider upping your NIC a bit. If you are not already doing 24mg, you may want to get some for the rough spots. It is not uncommon to have a analog or two when you switching over. There is some will power involved and they will start tasting nasty in time. Just try not too give into the craving to much. Once you start back on Analogs it is very hard to go back to vaping.

  13. They come with tanks because the MVP kit is a "starter-kit" (battery/tank/charging-cable), and well... because they can... if they can start you off with their tanks, you'll likely stick with them for a while, rather than invest your money with Kanger or Aspire, etc. for their tanks. The iClear tanks are okay, but I did not prefer them over my Kanger tanks, although some people like them...
