  1. No it will not effect the way I vape. I will continue to make juice and build my own coils. I have enough gear that I can vape the rest of my life. It will however effect new vapers and those that have yet to try vaping. Yes we need more studies If nothing else, to prove how much better it is to vape for not only the vaper, but those around them. It can also help improve what we vape and what is truly harmful as additives to the juice that is made. For example, added food coloring, is it safe? Why add it if it only makes it look like the flavor it claims to be. Do Lime vapes need to be green? There are questions that need firm and un bias answers. The fear mongering and speculations surrounding vaping need to be quelled so the truth can be the deciding factor.

  3. Ok. I got this bad boy off ebay at 78 dollars. I ordered 3x MNKE 26650 batteries with it. so total cost was better than these added up. it came in with 3 batteries at 109.00 USD This is the laser etching. Plain functional looks nice but not great. Here it is with the orange battery installed. It's venting is used via open ports to battery compartment. You will not want to drop this in water lol. I have the Joyetech Delta attached and you may be able to see i am running at 21.4 watts. This is only a wattage variable device .it wil detect your coil. (mine is detected at 1.5 ohms on my evic supreme it's detected at 1.4ohms) IT fires fast and has a gravity sensor for making adjustments. Now my opinions on this device. Man oh man is it big and heavy. Stainless steel beast i tell you. It makes my evic supreme feel like the original evic almost lol. If you look at the picture you will see that the joytech is much thinner than the 7-30. The joytech is the exact same diameter as my evic supreme which seems like a big rig so that will tell you how big this is. I LOVE IT. lol fires fast with a big battery that i'm hoping will last most of a day (my evic supreme lasts about 4 or 5 hours) This bad boy puts out plenty of power for my joyetech delta tank and coil (BTVC). the new tanks i am buying require greater than 11W ability so i have settled on the 30w for now so i can power my joyetech delta. I won't be able to put it on any of my 11 or 15w devices. Now the CON to this device (this may be a pro for some of you) the bottom screw on cap for the battery compartment is in two parts. This allows for adjusting the very bottom flat portion in an out for posted and non posted batteries. I use non posted so with the cap screwed in so the device will work the bottom portion is not flush. I don't like this but if you use a posted battery you will probably like it. Another con is that the operators manual is horrible and might as well not even be there. When i first got it, it was factory wrapped and had a huge scratch on the screen. This upset me a lot until i thought about the big bang theory episode where they made a big deal about taking the plastic off their new iphone. Sure enough it had a plastic coating on the screen. took it off no scratches . I have a couple DNA30's ordered and when they arrive i'll use em and tell you which i prefer between the DNA 30 and this. TLDR: BIG and Beautiful, I LOVE IT.

  4. Jinx, ha, ha. Your screw driver may be too large. A Smaller diameter coil means a higher resistance. I would be willing to bet your screw driver is more along the lines of 3/32 or larger. Try a drill bit.

  5. 10 wrps of 30 on a 1/16 bit get me 2.02 or so. Try pinching it in spring tweezers and torching it till its all red, then let it cool while in the tweezers, for a nice tight micro coil. I found this necessary to get it in there with enough room that I was comfortable with her using it, LOL. My Miss`s uses ego batteries so I have to wrap hers at 2 ohm so it don`t burn on a fresh battery. :?) Best of luck, R

  6. Welcome Liz! I am like you. I really don't vape in public much. I tend to keep it in the car, at home, and in the office. I really did about the same when I smoked. It is gaining acceptance in a lot of areas, but there is so many misconceptions and I normally don't want to deal with them in public. (I am shy and non-confrontational, a weird combination for a salesman!) I sat next to a woman today in a nonsmoking Denny's in Abilene, TX and she was vaping away. What really caught my eye is that she was an older lady and no one even gave her a second look. (I mean no offense by calling her older, she was older than me, and I know better than to try to guess the age of a woman)

    Ohm reader varying?

I didn't bring an RBA with me on this trip. I need to build a small toolbox for the hotel rooms. I spend 3-4 nights a week on the road. I bring tanks, extra coils and my back ups. I also have found most of the vape shops along my sales route. I think this weekend that will be my project. Building coils will help pass the time and give me practice!

    Nicotine

I'm with you Chris! I am definitely not gonna fault a guy for that. It seems like every time I get a major urge, I am alone. I would have to go buy a pack, and a lighter. I think that added bit of work really helps keep me from doing it. I luckily have never had the urge when I am around friends who smoke. I think when I am around them, I don't want to smoke in front of them because they all know of my commitment!

I've been DIYing my own juice for close to 2 weeks. I really like honeydew so I made some of it up at 90/10 VG/pg and 20% flavor. Let it steep for over a week. Dripped some of it and it was just so so, then I added 1ml of sweetener to it and shazzam, perfect drip flavor for sub ohm. I made a 15ml bottle and I'm about to make a 30ml bottle tonight. I've got some strawberry and cream flavor coming tomorrow so I hope I can get it to turn out just as good.

Dude, you've got mail..... I don't understand why you post questions, get a lot of responses with people trying to help you but you never respond to them or acknowledge that help?

    The end of cigarettes?

Loving the end of that article... "use only as a last resort to stop smoking. " Wonder if they have the same thoughts towards drugs that cause suicidal thoughts/tendancies in enough people to have alternatives to it. Doubtful, someone is getting paid lots of money for those, you know, with "regulation".

  13. Vaping is in the headlines, it's Vogue, it's hip, it's rebellious... People rush to buy Converse hi-tops or Sperry's because celebrities are wearing them... The fedora is making a come-back as a fashion statement. You are 100% correct, there are (too) many people that follow the crowd (sheeple), and will try vaping because they see it in the media or one of their "cool friends" doing it. These people vape as a fashion statement, and will likely give it up as soon as the new, "hip" thing comes around. I vape to get my nicotine-fix, after 30 years of conditioning and addiction. If someone has a love for peppermint and wants to vape 0-nic peppermint, let them (as long as they are an adult, making an adult decision). Would I try it if I had never smoked? 100% chance of "NO"... I'm not a follower, and I don't care what the celebrities or sports-stars are doing! And no, I don't own any Chuck Taylor's or Sperry's, or a fedora, either

  15. I don`t have an Omega, so this is only general information and may not apply to your kit. But, GENERALLY, that is a screw. Its used to hold down your positive coil block to the atty head. Generally it should be tight, if not it can allow your coil block to move about causing all sorts of problems (kaboom?). I did see one suggestion about shimming these out with a washer, but you would want to make sure the washer is an exact fit both id and od, and does`nt ground to your 510 threaded pipe. You would want an ohm meter to be safe about it. And I have`nt heard a good thing about the maraxus (clone!), looks cool as hell, but not a single good thing Iv seen written about it. Best, R
