  1. First approach - Change to 1.5 coils (1.8 would be max) and get your juices mixed to 50/50 pg/vg 2nd approach Upgrade to Evod2 dual coils and tanks and keep the 50/50 juice 3rd approach Spend the money on an Aspire Nautilus or mini Nautilus After that, it gets fancy. You are really asking for the holy grail of vaping: big clouds and cheap, lol

  3. I paid $27 for my 8 genuine Spinner 2s both here and at my other site I order from and never paid more than $16- $18 for any tank (My favorites were $11,99). They are about all I use, Vision Spinners. I have been smoke free for almost a year and a half and have tried everything there is (almost) that is not rebuildable (that you have to rebuild like RDAs and RBAs) and am convinced there is not a better battery on the market. My 1300mah Spinners I bought close to a year and a half ago became my beach-boat-lake batteries after I got my Spinner 2s and have been wet....dropped in saltwater...hell one was even buried because it took me about 15 minutes to find it in the surf and the first one dies last night...the others are all going strong. I am 100% convinced there is not a better Ego style battery out there when these have lasted so long. My wife even stuck here Spinner 2 with KPT 2 on top into a ceiling fan last weekend sending it hurling about 50 feet to the back of the boat and it never missed a beat. It all depends on what you want and it boils down to one thing. I have figured out there are two distinct approaches and they break down to this imo: 1. Simplicity: Plug and play, inexpensive coils, buy enough stuff to last a while and all you have to buy are coils and liquid for a VERY long time. This is for the vaper that has a primary motivation to quit smoking and save money (Me in a nutshell). It costs me about $80 a month for my wife and I combined to vape. 2. Complex: Rebuildables, APVs, Mods, and the latest greatest BDVC or BDC or BVC whatever is hot at the time. This is the hobbyist with an extensive collection that enjoys building their own coils and usually have a collection. The complex vaper is not concerned about the money saving aspect and treats it like a hobby more than simply a way to quit smoking and save money. Everyone just has to decide what they want for themselves, there is plenty of room in the Vape Lounge for all of us lol.

  4. Personally while I like the joye twist battery and think it is of the highest quality (if it's genuine Joyetech), the Vision Spinner is absolutely comparable. I prefer the Spinner II as it is well built and 1600 mah. There is a charging glitch with the Spinner though. You have to put it on the charger a few minutes til it "resets" and then pull it off and put it right back on to get it to fully charge.

Worked for me and the wife. The Blu style didn't at all. Lasted a day then back to analogs. I think our biggest issue was getting our nicotene levels right from the beginning to satisfy the craving. We were at 24mg nic for about 6 weeks and decreased to 18mg last Friday. Also finding a juice you like will help too. I tried tobacco flavors first but burned out quickly.I have 2 go to flavors that I can vape all day now and I have another to try thanks to a local juice maker. You can do it sounds like you have a good starter kit. Alot is mental after you start vaping. I still smoked a analog a time or two after we started but have been completely smoke free since. Welcome.........

  7. Cutting a juice works well if you don't mind muting the flavor a little. Another thing to do is see if your local shop(s) offers any free samples, deeply discounted items about to go out of date, etc. Sometimes they'll give away 1/2 bottles (remainders of what they fill the demo tanks with) or close-date items, if you ask... Also, Killer-Juice runs a weekend sale every Thurs-Sun... 99-cent, 15-ml bottles of decent vaping flavors (limit of 5 per order)... $5 will snag nearly a month's worth of juice (for roughly the cost of a day's smoking)!

  8. I just got the 'regular' nautilus. I wasn't a big fan of dual coils before having this tank, but it sure sold me on them! This thing is the bomb!

  9. It would, but the first link would require you to buy batteries and charger on top of the APV. After all the mods and APVs I own, my go to device is the Vision Spinner II. It's a great workhorse and many on this forum swear by them even though they have experience with other things. I would prefer not to spend so much when something less costly works just as well or better. Just my two cents.

  10. I was a cigar smoker, so I know what you're talking about... I get decent vapor (decent enough to satisfy) from my EVOD/eGo battery and a Kanger ProTank3-mini tank (same operation as the EVOD2, but with SS and Pyrex tank). Changing to 60/40 and 50/50 juices REALLY increased the vapor production. I also recommend the Kanger ProTank2 (single coil, which are a bit cheaper) with added AeroBase... or an AeroTank (dual-coil)... both produce enough vapor to satisfy me. My AeroTank throws as much vapor as my buddy's Nautilus, but take that observation for what it's worth (could be juice or coil resistance differences)... lol Bebop is spot on... after those changes... you're moving on to Mechanical MODS and RDA/RBA (rebuildables), which take some knowledge, safety, tools/equipment, and the "toys" can get expensive

  11. Me too! Hehe it looks so cool! And I had to give her some business of course! Also got 4 bottles of her e-juice, 100 VG fairy dust, dragon fly juice, dragon fruit and soldier boy. Dripping it right now, its awesome!!!

  12. I love it too... I've thought of a pipe MOD and a Hammer MOD just because they look so awesome!

  13. Still hopping! Seriously the first few months are the toughest. Lots of changes and things going on. I can tell you that I no longer vape a single juice I tried in the first 3 or 4 months. Persistence will land you a juice soon hang in there.

  15. Ya MTD, that's what I plan on doing... I'll take a good long look at those spinner 2s... seems to be between that and an ego c twist I'll let u know the outcome, after I get off and have a chance to hit up shop

  16. I own 2 mechs and 2 Magma's and I want to add a 3rd setup of the same so I can have 3 juices ready to go at all times. To me I'd buy a kayfun clone as I feel the market is ready for a better replacement that will be even better real soon. Or find an original barely used for a fraction of the cost of new.

  17. Everybody seems to really like the vision spinners. The Spinner and Spinner 2 are both work horses. If you want the best bang for your buck I suggest the MVP2 by iTaste. However, that will run you a little more than your $30 budget.

  18. I'd vape straight flavorless glycerin and nicotine before I'd smoke again. Just saying lol

Welcome! Good choices on the gear! I have been smoke-free for 6 months. As Dobie said, taste changes as you go along. I have tried so many and some I started with I CAN'T stand now. But there are plenty of others I won't be without! Good luck on your vaping journey!

  21. So far I am loving this clone. Picked that up and a new tank with a 1.5 ohm dual coil. Now to start puffing on this and getting some new juices flowing

  22. Welcome to Vt! If your happy w flavor and vapor, why change? As far as batteries some one will be along that knows more about spinners and such. My thoughts are if you like what you have Dont change it. Check out the Vt store, there are great prices and the nice part is they stock what most vapers really use successfully. Congrats on quitting, life is good w/o analogs.

  23. Good advice. I cut many of my juices as well.

  24. In a bind I recommend getting some 50/50 juice at twice your normal preferred nicotine and then adding vg. I usually double it with vg and since it has that pg kick to it the flavor still cuts through. Just shake it up good. I had 15ml bottles come out to $2 each last time. They vaped great.

  25. Thanks for all the great suggestions. Several of you have sent PMs with suggestions and personal experience, which have been very insightful! I've checked out the Magma (from Infinite), and the design is brilliant! I also love the adjustable airflow and copper or brass options for the ring. Either (or both) will compliment my new MODs So, right now, I'm leaning really hard towards the Magma for my first purchase... later on, I may snag an Enigma and/or Stillare for my second purchase. Several had said the Kraken has "issues" that make it less desirable than a Russian 91%... so maybe a Russian will be later down the line, too...
