  5. Lucky.... Mines being checked for "quality". Guys gets tons of them in wholesale. Opens every single one, installs a coil, fires it, cleans it up real good and ships it out... I ordered it on the 20th of July. Its supposed to get here on the 6th of august

  8. so you mixed a tank, a brand name, and another tank that is in a different league and skill level all together... protank - made by kangertech aspire (brand name) - which one? ET-S? nautilus? vivi nova? kayfun - which one? 3.1, lite, lite plus? mini? (not even the same category as the previous two...kayfuns are fully rebuildable and more for advanced users) that said: I own a couple aspire ET-S's and a nautilus, all great tanks for those that just want to screw in a coil pack and be done with it... but I also own a kayfun lite plus (clone) and since getting that and building a coil for it...I have no desire to ever go back to the old tanks because the kfl+ flavor and vapor production is 10x better and it is cheaper in the long run to maintain. also don't have to worry about the companies no longer making coils for it in the future since I make my own.

    tank question

I've done coils in aspire bdc's and I used 32g and organic cotton for a wick. Worked better than factory, of course when I put it together the coils were even the legs were properly insulated and nothing was shorting. The factory coils were crappy and that's giving them credit. After a few micro builds I've come to the conclusion that I need a good rba. I don't need anything elaborate. I'm going to stay around 1.5 to 2.0 ohm builds. Friends at the local b&m let me wind a couple last weekend and it was way easier then the micro builds I did. Now I have to research and make a selection that fits what I want.

    tank question

If you are building coils, why not look into a kayfun, or some other rebuildable atomizer rather than a pro-tank which is not meant to be rebuilt?

    Vape Virgin

Hi, I recently had a heart attack (I'm only 41) and decided to quit smoking. I bought a couple of 510's from http://www.electroniccigarette.uk.com/ and after a month I haven't gone back to the dreaded tree. I was thinking about ordering a better ecig to give more vapor and have better battery life as I'm really not getting as much out of the 510 as I should be, im using a 26mg tobabbo juice and was worried about the amount of nicotine I'm taking in and if it will affect my heart condition at all? as I'm in the UK would ordering off Vaportalk incur any taxes for me? do the charging kits come with a UK/EU plug or adaptor? I love vaping and have become addicted to it! but I'm thinking it's gotta be better for me than smoking is. I just want to make sure I'm not damaging my heart anymore than it is?

  14. Hey my name is Jessie. I work at the vapor talk store in NJ. I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm a huge fan of vapeing and I'm trying to learn as much as I can about all of it. Working in the store helps with that a lot but I want to start making my own atomizers and start cloud chasing. If there's anyone who can point me in the right direction of how to learn to do it and not hurt myself that would be awesome. I've already gained a lot of knowledge from this forum. You guys are great, you really know your stuff. That's all for now. Thank you to everyone that shares what they know. It's like one big helpful family. -Jessie

  16. The first thing on your shopping list should be a dedicated ohm meter if you don't already have one.

Good luck to you. All I use are Vision Spinners for over a year and a half. I have had other things but Mods do nothing for me except weigh down my pocket lol. You do have the backup thing down pat though, always have backups and backups for your backups. Between my wife and I we now have close to or maybe over 20 Vision Spinners with the 8 Spinner 2s we added lol.

  19. LOL, Ya, we put something up to our lips and suck. They find that intolerable. And yet allot on the other side do that every day, day in and day out, and they do it in front of camera`s no less. I wont mention any names, but reid and pelosi come to mind. I`m laughing so hard I want to cry, :?(

  20. I think you're getting it, lol... Wattage is the measure of power Amps is the measure of current Voltage is the measure of electricity (in DC) Ohms is the measure of resistance of the coil They all work in concert, based on the ratios prescribed by Ohm's Law: Voltage = Current * Resistance Power (watts) = Voltage * Current A static battery or a replaceable battery are no different, as their "life" is based primarily on charge capacity, measured in Milli-Amp-Hours (mAh). A 2600mAh battery has twice the capacity (life) of a 1300mAh battery... which means the bigger battery will last longer (up to twice) than the smaller one. As for "complicated"... THAT comes into play when you're using a mechanical MOD and building your own coils. But, using a factory, 1.5-3.0 Ohm coil in a tank should be little issue for virtually any static, 3.7V battery!

Well I can say two things; Testimony abounds when it comes to ecigs and their benefit to help others stop smoking. Nearly one for one people report 2 major things: quitting smoking and an improvement in health as a result. No one here claims vaping is healthy but everyone claims it is healthier thsn smoking by a VERY wide margine. This is emperical evidence for sure. The Health and Safety forum has lots of info and links to various aspects of health issues. I reccomend reading and watching everything there.

  23. i love my fat snow wolf, it's a beast. The gold plated firing pins make it hit like a tank. It's a 26650 device, one of the slimmer ones I have and have seen. The only other mod I have that's not regulated that is on par with the snow wolf is the all copper mutant. I would say if u like the look of it, get it. It's a great mod. Let me know if u have any other questions.

  25. It appears you should just change the coil and do more research next time. "i heard you could" does not convey that you have even done enough research to be using it, let alone cleaning it. So before you get an attitude with the people that are trying to help you, take a step back and realize all these people have been there and done that long before you. Bebop suggested another way that you can clean your coil that is also effective in extending the life span of the coil. I NEVER clean my coils unless I'm changing to a flavor that is completely opposite. After a few good puffs the old flavor is gone anyway. If you do choose to clean them, I suggest Bebop's method of burning off the residue rather than water due to the time it takes.
