That was an awesome review video. Thanks for posting. I eventually would have seen it I subscribe to his channel but had no idea it was posted or he was working on that comparison. I'm not surprised at all with his results it's pretty much exactly what I've found for myself using those three. Never tried the hemp wicks but I wouldn't pay that much and I figured they would give a slightly woody pulp taste anyway like he found. One thing that he touched on that I completely forgot about with the rayon cellucotton is how easy is it to change juice using the same wick. It does burn out cleaner and more thoroughly than any of the others. Regular organic really seems to just pool the juice and not wick as well and hold that flavor in between changes. The one thing he didn't factor in at the end that I thought he would is price. I wouldn't say the japanese cotton squares are really expensive but when you compare getting 500 ft of rayon for half the cost of one box of japanese cotton squares it might be a factor for some.
Was really interesting how much better the japanese and rayon wicked. I had noticed it with the parallel fibers but to see them side by side and how much better they do compared to the tangled mess that sometimes you get in regular organic cotton balls it really shows how much easier it works. I'm already using the japanese squares about 75% of the time but I think I'll go back to the rayon cellucotton a little more and see if I really do enjoy it as much. I know I like it for kayfuns and russians which is what he was using. For those rebuildable tanks to me it's overall better than everything else. It takes much less material to do a better job and I can get max VG juice to wick like a 50/50 juice does with regular cotton which is a big difference in performance.
I've heard of one, but not in the act of actual vaping. But in mod and button stuck and wasn't noticed. Things are going to happen even if you aren't sub or super sub ohm.
Ordered a plume veil RDA clone. Description states it is a 1:1 replica and offers black and silver color options. The deck is 24k gold plated and has the same post set-up. (Single negatives and dual rotating positive post). Also the description states that it will swallow up 4 twisted 22ga wires with ease. I like to vape around .3 to 1.4 depending on the flavor. A drink flavor such as monster energy or Dr pepper I keep high up around 1.0< for cool vaping and flavors such as coffee I keep at .3<.6 for a hot vape.
I ordered the plume veil because my local vape shop has cloud chasing competitions every month and I am fairly good at building coils. The prizes are crazy good and I think I could win some cool gear. I can't wait!
Local vapor house mixes! 70/30 VG/PG blend monster energy in my aerotank and iTaste VV combo
Then for my rdas, 100 VG
Franky
Sour melon
Dr. Pepper
Pineapple
Chocolate
Coffee
The coffee is a great morning flavor especially in a hotter hitting build. Then the fruits and Dr pepper are great in cool builds. Chocolate is best in a warmer build. Loving these flavors!
7 wraps. 28 ga kanthal. Micro coil. Vaping on some Dr. Pepper 100% VG. Tastes great and its nice and cold like a cold glass of Dr. Pepper. Makes great vapor too. Loving it
Igo - w6 in the background built to .08 ohms with 24 ga kanthal
Vapor production. 4 second pull, stayed cold and perfect all the way through.
Those are a whole other thing. lol Stick with your basic eGo style device for now and worry about jumping into that world later, when you have a decent amount of experience under your belt.
Ya buddy! Welcome to the forum
I just got done with a good stone on Liqua cuban cigar.
Been chasing the dragon all these years and I finally caught him, his name is Vape!
I Dont know much about the hana clones. I know the shop locally was asking, on sale 115.00, I just bought a Russian for around 60-70, they were all vaping and dripping w the hana clone, so in my other wise unknowledgeable opinion I'd say ya you did good.
