  1. Dayum! Lot of nice fancy builds on here. I'm fairly new to RBA's but I'm hooked already! Got a KFL+ clone about a week or so ago and built my first coil and am on my second wick config now. I'm using 28g kanthal 9.5 wraps around a 5/64" brill bit. Came out right at 1.2ohms which is the minimum my vamo V5 will fire. Nothing fancy, just a single coil build and SS mesh wick. Not really a cloud chaser, but great flavor with a decent amount of vapor to go with it appealed to me That was my second attempt at a mesh wick.. The first one didn't work as I didn't oxodize it enough. That second attempt I torched the hell out of that bastard and got her workin! Here was my previous cotton ball build: My next build should be a lot cleaner, but for now I'm pretty happy with the results and definitely hooked on the RBA's! I want a second one already so I can use more than one flavor at a time!

    New and learning

Give it a little time and definitely try different flavors... I too started on a tobaccoish flavor and after two weeks and a better device, I can't stand the taste of tobacco anymore because my sense of taste and smell came back. and I was still smoking between vaping and it got to the point that cigarettes tasted like *** to me and I found myself not wanting to finish or smoke another cigarette. my tastes changed after that and I went for more of a fruity/desert like flavor and love it! Right now I'm really liking "royal flush" by GQ Liquids. yum!

  5. I've not tried the Nautilus, and I've heard about equal good and bad on them... but everyone says when they work, they have good flavor / vapor. But, I have friends with Nautilus tanks, and side-by-side, I produce just as much vapor (using 50/50 juice and an AeroTank) as they do. I'm not a cloud-chaser, so vapor production for me is all about flavor and nicotine delivery... which my AeroTanks and KPT2's do just fine for that. Now, for me, I love my Kanger ProTank2's and AeroTanks! I use an Air Flow Control base on the KPT2's, which really helps to dial-in your draw. As for vapor... I get plenty vapor from the KPT2's single-coils, and a bit more from the dual-coils on the AeroTanks. Coils are cheap... I've bought some as low as $0.75 each (in bulk), up to $1.60 each for duals... but if you look hard you can pick up 50-count boxes for $36 (single-coils) and $42-45 for dual-coils... so they're both under a buck a coil, which is 1/3 the price of Aspire coils... which still makes the Kanger's a bargain, IMO, even if you have to replace coils twice as often over the Nautilus! Another factor is that I've averaged <$10 tank on my KPT2's, and $13.99 avg each for my AeroTanks... so I can buy two AeroTanks or three KPT2's for the price of ONE Nautilus, with change left-over! For me to invest in a Nautilus, they'd have to come WAY down in price, coils would have to be a buck each, and they would probably have to wash my car on occasion, too

I always use the friction bending method for a nice flush break. I'm just a neat freak though.

  7. ^Those coils look VERY NICE, but may I suggest centering them over the air hole below. I found this improved performance 10 fold on mine. As low and centered got me LOTS of NICE vapor
