    Yuck!

I've been analog free for one week today, and earlier today I noticed the smell of cigarettes on another person for the first time. I hugged an old coworker and couldn't believe how noticeable the smell of smoke on him was to me. Can't wait to have the chance to share vaping with him. He doesn't know it yet, but he added to my resolve to never pick up an analog again.

  2. Glad you got through the break in period and it's working well for you. No, my comment was not meant to be condescending, just instructional. I'm sorry if it came across wrong. Building coils and learning about which batteries can handle sub ohm, Ohm's Law, the correct materials to use, all kinds of safety factors all go into building coils for RDAs. Too often we see people coming on to the forum who do not have an ohm meter to check their build before trying it out or using an APV (which are not accurate), and thinking that's okay. That's why many of us stress doing research to learn as much as you can in order to stay safe. I'm still learning about different aspects of this new hobby and research has been very helpful for me. This statement and added explanation are also meant in a friendly, instructional vein.

    Noob To vape

I smoked cigars (premiums and 'little cigars') for 30 years... and yes, the first couple of weeks when I started vaping made me feel "strange". One thing about your lungs, smoking analogs "numbs" them, so you don't feel all the crap in your lungs. When you start vaping, there is no anesthetic effect, so you feel the garbage in your lungs, as well as the body's natural healing which is taking place, first in your lungs, which will give you a "sick" feeling. It will pass in a few days to a couple weeks. Full healing and recovery will take longer, but you'll start feeling better, have more lung capacity, more energy, etc. after only a couple of weeks! As always... drink more water, then drink more water, and finally, drink more water! It will help flush your body, as well as offset the "drying" effect vaping has. Oh, and drink more water

  4. I'm sold on the Nautilus. I don't like carrying it around but at home its great. The dual coils are pricey but they last easily twice as long as a single PT coil and the flavor and vapor production is noticeably improved over a PT mini or mini Davide.

  5. LOL at turning the regulation of vaping into a partisan issue. Personally I would prefer to not have any spokesperson for any activity I engage in that is affiliated with Fox News or MSNBC for that matter.

    New Provari

Thank you. I found a really pretty pink and white mini Provari that I'm going to order Thursday. Also, I'm going to look around at the places you mentioned to dress it up. Have a great day.

  9. $11 for six months of rebuilding supplies (not counting different gauge wire, and set-up materials of clippers, hemostats, pliers, torch, gauges, meter, magnifying light for my poor eyes, etc, etc. --- Not to mention the TIME involved to rebuild, and do it RIGHT), and 50 pre-made coils will last me nearly two years... So 11 x 4 = $44 for two years worth of (only) rebuilding supplies, compared to $36 for two years worth of tank coils? Yes, my statement stands... at least for me And, no, I don't own an RDA... and don't plan to in the near future either... I'm quite happy with my tanks.

Here's pbusardo's video. I find his explanations to be very easy to follow.

Patricia, they are stainless steel tank tubes that I got to replace the glass on the Aspire Nautilus was afraid that the glass would break being hauled around in my purse i got them from a dealer on ebay that had very good ratings. A search for stainless vape tanks will take you to his page. The charms can be found in the craft jewelry departments in the big box craft stores and Wally world. I get tips from Molehill Mountain and Drip tip Designs. Hope it's ok to post the names here-if not, mods let me know;)

  12. Rayon (cellulose) or if you can't find it use sterile cotton from the drug store. I think they must autoclovae the steril cotton cause it tastes better than non sterile imo. But I find rayon easier to work with. There are also Gushi cotton pads that you can split in half and cut a perfect 3/16" strip off of, I haven't tried these but they are getting good reviews.

  13. My favorite wicks in order are japanese cotton, cellucotton, and walgreens organic cotton. The second two are cheap for bulk. About 4-5$ for 80 organic cotton balls or $12 for 500 ft of cellucotton at Sally's beauty supply. The japanese cotton patches can be pricey unless you get lucky and find some at a decent price on amazon or other fine beauty supply places online but they really are the easiest to use and give great wicking and flavor. Just cut a strip from the patch that is the right thickness for your coils and wick through them and tuck the ends.

    Hello from MT!

Tell him to get some gum and a vape. Not saying it's the best way but it worked for me! Glad to see another Montanan here.

  15. Don't worry, you'll ease up on the purchasing after one of these 3 things happen: There's nothing left to buy that you don't already have two of You declare bankruptcy and are living in a cardboard box under an overpass (with all your gear) You realize that you're only using a couple of mods and tanks, and the rest are collecting dust, so you sell the excess to buy more juice! Welcome to the asylum!

    Ms. T's Bakery - Update!

You won't believe it! I received an email yesterday stating that my order has moved from 'fulfillment' to 'awaiting shipment'! That's right folks...76 DAYS LATER...and my order is supposedly done and waiting to be shipped out. Keep in mind it still states 10-18 business days on their websites....LOL. And they completely ignored all attempts I made to cancel this order. I don't care how good her stuff is...never again! Autumn

  17. All I have vaped for about 6 months now is Endless Summer from Fuzion Vapor. I know I rave about it, but none of the other hundreds of flavors I have tried even comes close. It is a Strawberry Lemonade with a little more strawberry than lemon but is just sweet enough with a touch of tartness. Once I started vaping it all other flavors all of a sudden just do not cut it.
