  1. You kids are spoiled back in the day we paid more than a $1.00 per ml for Dekang and loved it. Was just the thing after milking the cows and walking 5 mile to school. The cost for this stuff has really come down with the proliferation of vendors .

  3. Just want to post about this. Saturday we went to our local festival called "The Flea & Ox Roast". It basicly a big Flea market, Party and Carnival rides for the kido's. I met Steve Cook the writer of the Michigan Dogman song. Now before you start posting that it is fake and blah blah, yes it was an April fools joke he did for his WTCM radio program back in 1987. It has since went viral and has become a legend. I live in the area of this legend and it is well known around here. Steve Cook is a really down to earth guy that loves to tell a good story and he does a good job. All the proceeds from the song and movies over the years have gone, and go to Animal Rescue Shelters in our area. Two years ago he had a movie made and a 25th anniversary edition CD of the song that also includes some other spooky local stories. I bought the set and got a signed poster with this drawing. This year he had a second movie done and was at a local festival promoting it. I bought the second movie and had him sign it as well. I had told him the story of my Cat attacking the Dogman and chewing off his ears and he got a kick out of it. I then told him the story of my daughters boyfriend and scaring the crap out the boy playing the song. As I played the song I was telling him how close we were to these sightings and he went pale. LOL Steve Cook got a good laugh out of it and said, "Since you told me such a great story I'll give you a replacement poster at no charge." I will keep this one out of the reach of the cat so he can't chew it up. Poor Dogman, getting bested by a cat. LOL If you like a good story and want to help the shelters in our area, please take a trip to his web site and buy the 25th anniversary edition of the song DVD.

  4. I'd go with a low resistance atomizer to start. The link goes to the Vapor Talk store where they have one with a bridge. Whether you go bridged or bridgeless is up to you and personal preference, imo. If you decide to go direct dripping, you most definitely need a drip shield to cover the atomizer. If you don't you're going to have juice running down your fingers, on your battery...it's a mess and not worthwhile without out it. Before I derail this thread even more, how about if you start a new thread with your specific question and we can go into much more detail there. Other new vapers might also want to try it too. ETA: I guess it helps at add the link: https://www.vaportalkstore.com/510-Atomizer-Low-Resistance-p/510-atomizer-lr.htm

    Kicking Nicotine

I think getting down to zero nic/zero vape would pretty much depend on you. For me, I'm not trying to get to zero nic. The hand-to-mouth thing has me pretty well tied up, plus I don't have the desire to kick everything, although I am working on it slowly just to see what happens. I know one who has gone to zero nic and quit everything totally in a year. Others I know are still working the same nic level they started with. Others can't leave tobacco alone even while they're vaping. From the stories I've heard, drop your nic level a couple/three points at a time every month. If you find you're sucking the bottom out of your PV for the nic fix, you're too early on the nic drop. Bottom line - it's going to be up to you how committed you are to gettiing off the nic train.

  7. Yeah, I'd check that with a real meter... my MOD rarely reads the "correct" resistance... sometimes as high as 0.5 difference from a real meter reading.

There is no easy way to determine the wattage being put out since there is no display. You can buy a 20W 2ohm Resistor and solder the ends to each electrode of your tank. Then measure the voltage drop across the resistor. Finally ohms law gives us the wattage: P =V squared/ resistance. There is a debate on whats better a nemesis with kick or SVD as they are the same price. I think dialing in to the right power if you swap tanks/juices a lot leans favor to the SVD. Also battery size is no issue at all.

  9. Welcome! Are you using a coil-meter to check your resistance, or are you relying on the meter on your MOD? If you're using the MOD's meter, that could be part of the issue... only trust the readings from a "real" meter, either one specifically made for reading coils, or a good digital multi-meter. Another issue could be the cotton... are you using organic cotton (no additives, chemicals, etc), and are you using the right amount? Too much will prevent proper wicking (too much compression), too little will not wick enough juice fast enough (and usually brings burnt tastes).

  10. Been vaping suicide bunny mothers milk all day today. Pretty expensive imo. Wanted to try it because I hear how great it is. Not that impressed I've had much better.

  11. Great! I was sure hoping that it was just a mechanical issue. I didn't want you to have to spend a bunch of money. This has turned into a real hobby for many of us and can get very expensive. I am really resisting the urge to buy new equipment. What I have works great for me, but man I love new shiny things!

    Buying advice

Anyone starting out really needs two batteries and two tanks at a minimum. Starter kits like the EVOD are really good, and economical, considering you're getting two batteries, two tanks, a handful of coils, and a charger with each kit... which would probably run you an extra $10-15 if buying everything individually. The JoyeTech eGo kits (basic ones) are usually a bit cheaper, but you typically get disposable tanks with them... not a bad thing, but tanks with replaceable coils (like the EVODs) will give them more value, IMO. I'd get them started with a basic kit, and let them decide how to go from there... such as spinners/twists, MODs, tanks, etc. What works for you may not be their cup-o-tea Be careful of starter kits on eBay... they may be a steal @ $20, but they are usually clones/knock-offs. Kudos for wanting to help your family out... just don't go broke doing it, lol

  14. I'm lucky my b+m sells all products at or below the best Internet vendors. That's another reason I like them. They don't gouge on the products. Although, I never buy products from them because they never have what I want in stock.

  15. Yeah, my shop sells my favorites at 0.50$ a ml. I think it's pretty good for the convenience. I drive up there to get it and the guys are very helpful. So I give them 90 percent of my business.

Here is the link to the lady that makes beautiful and unique drip tips out of glass. She sells adapters that make them fit my tank. They are pricy but worth the added beauty to me. : ) https://www.etsy.com/listing/191212966/opal-drip-tip-by-teena?ref=pr_shop

So pretty. Your a girl after my own heart. I hope you don't mind all the questions but what is the tank tube for and where do you get them? Which Nautilus do you use? Also, where do you get your cute little charms?

  18. You know I spoke to you about juice. Profit is not a dirty word though. Its like this in every hobby. There will be the affordable, the great deals, the diamonds in the rough, the elite and worth it, then the point where returns diminish. Of course there will always be DIY folks like you really getting the most. I found the best way is to avoid the ones that rub me the wrong way and go on happy with what I have.
