    hi

Sorry about that, Kelli. We tend to go off topic around here and your thread was its home this time. It's all in good fun, and look! You're now broken in. Join in the fun that is Vapor Talk.

    hi

This is one of the few places we can cut up and have fun. 18 years of being a child is not near long enough when our expected life span is 85. We joke, we kid, we derail threads. Join in! It'll keep ya young

  8. I am sure there are tutorials and such but I just thought I would share how I found works for anyone just bumping along into this. I have a short list of tools. Microfiber, q-tips, toothbrush, pipe cleaner, plastic cup, alcohol and 760g grease. Take it all apart to bits and spray down with alcohol scrubbing with toothbrush. Let it all soak for a while in the alcohol. image by Richstag, on Flickr Clean the inner threads of the switch and firing pin with the pipe cleaner. Give it all another good brushing then wipe it inside and out with the microfiber and again pipe cleaner. Then let it all set out to dry avoiding finger oils on the clean parts. image by Richstag, on Flickr Then I get a nice pile of nyogel on the clean surface and apply to ALL threads, male and female, with the q-tip and again the pipe cleaner for those tiny inner threads of the switch and firing pin. image by Richstag, on Flickr Put her all back together, spray it all down one last time with alcohol and wiper off. image by Richstag, on Flickr Hitting so so smooth and strong. Very happy with this set up so far. Hope this may help some just dipping their feet into mech's.

  9. Oh and BTW the VT store has them $4 cheaper than anywhere else I have seen. I will be ordering mine in the future right here lol.

  10. I am not going to return any of them over it, its just a different process from the old version I wanted everyone to know. Its not that big a deal to me since I never leave them charging unattended anyway.

  11. Thanks Tam... I wasn't sure if that was VV device or not :P For 3.7V @ 1.5 Ohms, that battery/coil combo is pushing a bit over 9.1W of power... and for 20/80 juice, that may be too much, thus why he's getting a burnt taste, especially on the second hit (slower wicking, high wattage). Yep, I agree... for that Voltage, a 1.8 Ohm coil will deliver better performance, and even a 2.2 wouldn't be "bad"... just be on the low-end of the performance specs.

  12. That should be pretty close to the sweet spot for a 1.8ohm coil

    Vision Spinner 2 question

The two-step charging isn't a problem, just a minor inconvenience, but now that I know to look for it, I'll be more aware and make changes to how I charge the thing. I really like the extra battery capacity too. One thing that I need to get used to is the new button. It doesn't stick out as far as the 1300 button and is really smooth so it's easy to overlook when I'm feeling for it unless I'm paying attention.

    New Provari

Provari is all "dressed up". I put a banded malachite tip on it. Nautilus has a ss tank tube that has dimples. And of course a doggie paw charm. I have another tip being made that will also match well

    hi

New members need to make 5 legitimate posts before they can move on to the rest of the forum. Posting a "This!" five times doesn't count.

    hi

Yes, newly enacted rules for new members... they can't post anywhere but the new-members section until they reach a specified number of posts (5 I think Chris said)... This is to reduce the volume of spam across the forum's main body.

Changed it a few days ago. It's an evil purple minion from Despicable Me 2. Sometimes they come in when you're not looking and put a little something icky in your tank. This is what makes the juice taste bad.

  32. I haven't tried a lot of different APVs but have had a Vamo for about 9 months and I have put it through hell and it still works like a champ. If it broke, I wouldn't shop around I would buy another. http://www.sweet-vapes.com/index.php?page=shop.browse&category_id=76&vmcchk=1&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=84
