  3. You'll want to drink lots of water. You also said that you're vaping the same juice...you need to change it up. Most of us change flavors several times a day. Go to a fruit flavor if you've been vaping something like a bakery flavor, then try a mint or a candy flavor. That seems to help but only if it's something very different from what you can't taste anymore.

  4. One question that seems to pop up a lot is What Supplies do I need to get started doing my own juice? I have been doing DIY Juice for many years and have had many trial and error experiences. I hope this quick guide will help anyone looking to start DIY Juice get the supplies they need to be successful. To get started you will want: My go to for DIY Flavors and the rest of what is listed here is http://www.wizardlabs.us Test your flavor mixes in small batches 5 to 10ml samples Basic Must Haves: 1ml, 5ml,10ml blunt syringes at least 2 of each (Put scotch tape over the measuring markings or tey will ware off quickly) 30 ml Glass Dropper Bottles any color (I use Cobalt blue) (For holding small amounts of Bases PG, VG, Nic strengths) Droppers for Flavor bottles (Out of Stock)(Wizard Labs sells them to fit the flavor bottles they sell) (I have some small dram bottles I use that came with dropper tops) This is where I ordered my bottles from: http://www.specialty...assvialsmi.aspx 10ml, 25ml glass graduated cylinders (I prefer glass so it don't absorb flavors) Glass Funnel At least 1 50ml Beaker 1-2 Volumetric Flasks 50ml and 100ml PG/VG Make sure it is food grade or medical grade not industrial grade. What they sell on Wizard labs will do to start with. http://www.bulkapothecary.com/ The more VG you have in your mix the weaker the flavor but more vapor. VG, If you have say 10/90 mix it will take a lot more flavoring to get it up to taste. I would not recommend doing high vg to start it can get costly for flavor. Trade off for less VG is less vapor production. Straight PG gives vapor but dissipates quick. don't less than a 90/10 mix. You will want a Juice calculator as well. There are two that seem to be popular eJuice me up and LiqMix Hope this helps get you started on your Journey to doing DIY E-liquid.

    "Premium" E-liquid

I have found certain vendors tend to be more consistent than others - "premium" or not. I like to buy a lot of different juices and even then, my top 10 flavors since I started are from 8 different vendors, lol. It makes for good variety but it's a PITA to order. I just rotate orders. But to me "premium" means consistency whether that's bottle to bottle on one flavor or across the flavors - and it doesnt necessarily mean $$$. Fadora is a good example of a premium juice. That being said it's still SO subjective it's almost moot.

  7. If you have no need for nicotine, and end up purchasing Humco VG just to chase clouds, then please be respectful and don't blow insane clouds in public where people might feel uneasy. Vaping is a safer alternative to smoking, and the only reason I even vape is to get my nicotine fix. Clouds are only an added bonus, as is the hobby of tinkering with builds.

    "Premium" E-liquid

As with anything else "premium" is a personal preference. A person pretty much has to try a little of a lot of different brands and go with suits their requirements. I don't really pay any attention to reviews anymore as they are mostly made by folks hoping to score freebies and I have not found very many negative reviews over the years. And there seems to be a mob mentality on this and other forums ,if the right persons endorse a product everyone seems to be gaga over it until the next greatest product comes along.

    Sigelei ZMAX 5

I used my ZMAX USB passthrough adapter for the first time today. My android smartphone almost dead I attached the charging adapter to my Sigelei and cranked her up. Off a fully charged Samsung 18650 battery I drained approximately 75% of the power and got a 65% full reading off the cell phone. Plenty of spare juice to last till I get home in an hour. Very cool Sigelei. My hat's off to you.

  13. I used my personal coupon code with Bulldog-Vapor, saving $20 on 60ml of Blueberry Pie and 60ml of Monkey Nuts. Also placed an order with FatDaddyVapes for the Stingray Ultimate magnet switch upgrade, King V2 magnet switch upgrade, and a 10"x10" mod polishing cloth.

  14. Excellent suggestion for trying another flavor... I know when I lose flavor on my "favorite" flavor, it is 99% of the time alleviated by vaping a couple of days on something different. I even bought a good sour-apple and sour-grape which are excellent pallet cleaners when I vape too hard much on my chocolate or sweet cigar! Oh, and drink another glass of water

  18. Thanks Comp... I'll check out the Flavor Apprentice for a good starting point on my way to DIY! I knew to stay away from Loranne's, at least the colored ones because of food colorings... Perhaps someday I'll make a flavor even you'll be proud of.... LMAO!

    "Premium" E-liquid

i agree guys. What I may consider premium, someone else may consider high-priced dog sh**. I have what I consider my "premium" juices. Those are the ones that are unique in flavor that no one else makes.

Why not just put your juice on front of some badass speakers and crank up the volume. Two birds with one stone and all that.

    Noob from Georgia

Welcome to the forum. I really hope you didn't trash your starter setup. It is always a good idea to have a back up. At least keep the batteries. If the Vision Spinner and the Aspire are working for you, then I would add an additional set. The Vaport Talk store has the Nautilus and they should be getting the coils in shortly. A few members like using the Nautilus on the Spinner batteries.

    Having trouble

I like the KPT mini because it can be totally taken apart to clean it between flavors. I use 2.2 ohm coils and the draw is excellent!

  27. I use a Nemesis. Put the 2 long pieces together the top cap and bottom. I use VTC4's just fine and they are flat top. You will have 2 pieces left. A Kick ring and a beauty ring. Hopw it works for you.

  32. Yes. I've learned by trial and error that I'm less about throat hit/harshness and more about pleasing flavors and adequate vapor production. But initially I went with the advice of the B&M where I started and took their advice that I would risk going back to analogs if I didn't start with tobacco flavor similar to my analog brand, serious throat hit and high nic. I struggled to stay vaping that first couple weeks. Don't know if it was cause the advice didn't fit my needs or just the regular trials and tribulations of the ex-smoking converted vaper. Probably a little of both. But I'm glad I stuck with it and have begun to find my sweet spot. Not totally there but a hell of a lot closer than I was 5-6 weeks ago.
