  1. While I was out running errands this morning, I stopped by the local vape-shop on a whim... didn't really need anything, but something said "go", so I went There was a guy there who had bought 3 KPT2's and 3 Air Flow bases from another shop about 50 miles away, on the recommendation of the shop's clerk. But, what he really wanted was KPT2 minis (or EVODs) for his eGo batteries. He didn't realize the size difference between the standard and mini, and thought they were too "top-heavy" for his eGo. So, he was looking to see if the local shop would buy them or swap them for what he really wanted, so he didn't have to drive 100 miles roundtrip to the original shop to exchange them. I had my two KPT2 minis in my travel-pack (freshly cleaned and new coils)... so, I offered to help the guy out with a trade and some cash... Hey, they were just spares for me because I prefer my KPT3 minis on my eGo batteries, and the KPT2 minis were just taking up space I traded him my two minis and $20 (his suggestion for fair-deal) for his three tanks and three AeroBases. I also offered to let him keep the 2.2 ohm coils that came pre-packed with the KPT2's, but he didn't want to bother with opening the other boxes... so he only took the two from the open box! He was happy, and I was jumping for joy! He took that $20 back into the store and bought 3 EVOD tanks - the local shop sells them @ $7.99 each or 3 for $21, with a free 10ml bottle of juice... Today was a good day at the vape-shop! Three KPT2's and three AeroBases for $20, and I was able to help out a fellow vaper by unloading two tanks I wasn't using.... so, he ended up with 5 tanks he wanted, a free bottle of juice, and a couple of spare coils without losing money....

  2. I ran across something INCREDIBLY DANGEROUS when I first got into "enthusiast grade" vaping and premium parts. I had a new machined stainless drip tip/mouthpiece, It was one of my first RDA type purchases and my when I got my very first RDA I didn't wash and learned a lesson with the oily taste/vape so I happened to decide to wash this one. As I was washing it, a stainless shaving about 2 inches long was curled up so about 1 inch curled and 1/8" coils, came out of the drip tip on the mouth end. It just fell out as soon as the soapy water got to it. Had that been my first RDA, I would have inhaled it, at best sucked it into my mouth and possibly sucked it from the drip tip into my throat and either swallowed it or gasped and ended up with it in my insides. I've been meaning to make a post to warn newcomers and I had forgotten about it until I saw this thread.

The only "local" flavor I tried was called Zombified. It wasnt terrible but only comes 70pg and is harsh as all get out. Probably an ADV for a Zombie!

    Am I doing this wrong?

No. This one is pretty much toast so toss it and start with a new one. This time, don't take the bridge out until you're no longer getting good vapor production. This will probably happen within a week or more. With the new atomizer, take a piece of tissue, hold it very loosely over the top of the atomizer while you blow gently into the battery connection side. There is almost always some PG or VG or a combination of both put inside to keep the wick wet. Once you've blown most of the liquid inside the atty out, take a dry piece of tissue and GENTLY push it into the atty. Let sit for a few minutes to absorb the rest of the liquid. Place atty onto your battery. Drip 4 - 6 drops in, put drip tip on and suck gently without using any power. Do you hear a slight gurgle? If not, add one or two more drops. Let sit for a minute to allow wick to absorb the juice. Vape. At first you might not get much vapor or flavor out of it because it needs to break in and also you need to vape the remaining liquid that was in there as a primer out. Keep wiping the end of the atomizer with tissue to prevent juice from getting everywhere until you can get a drip shield. I would suggest getting one from Empire Mods. Keith, the owner is the one who invented the drip shield. There are a lot of different kinds of drip shields so contact him for the one that will work best with your battery. Do not vape with the tissue on the atomizer, though. Just keep wiping...

  11. I'm a rookie and just rebuilt a kanger protank 3 coil with organic cotton and 30 gauge wire at 1.5 ohms. I am stoked to have any kind of success and it works very well and tastes great. I also picked up a free hcigar sentinel clone with a grand vapor clone rda and I want to try a dual coil build next as I also had success with a single coil on it at .9 ohms. Three and a half weeks without a stencher and going strong! (wife too) YaY ☺ And thanks to everyone on here that posted advice I learned from and showed me that safety is important!

Now, personally, I never knew you could sling a 5-iron that far The farthest I've ever thrown one was to the tree-line, but it was quite bent-up before I threw it... might have messed with the aerodynamics a bit?

  19. Not so much of a "buy" as a "trade"... Today I traded my two KPT2 minis (and $20) for three KPT2's and three Air Flow Bases. The guy bought them on a recommendation, but didn't like the size of the tanks... he wanted minis for his eGo batteries... he hadn't opened two of the tanks yet, and didn't even put juice in the third! He used the $20 (we were at the local B&M) to buy 3 EVOD tanks (3 for $21) and got a free 10ml bottle of juice to boot... he was a happy camper... and I'm waiting for my new tanks to dry

I got mine vaping 0 nic, I even let her hang on to the MVP 2.0 for good. There's method to my madness. The other day when she tried a sample of juice and was describing what she liked and didn't like and I loaded up another aspire with a different flavor, she said "Ohhhh, I never thought about how you really needed different tanks so you can have different flavors. I wondered why you kept getting more and more in the mail." A few nights ago I got in the car when were running errands and she said "Nope no mail." I looked at her because it was so random for what we were doing and she said "No vape mail came today. I checked when i got home." I was practically dancing in the passenger seat trying to hide my smile as I thought about her being more excited about vape mail than me.

You'll know when to add more juice when you start getting a slight burnt taste. After you get more experience with direct dripping you'll get to know when to add more before you taste something not pleasant. With the atty you're using I'd only do one to two drops at a time after the first time. Keep similar flavors in the same atty because, when you change flavors, you're going to get the old flavor's taste for a few draws or more before it burns out and the new flavor comes in. I keep all fruit flavors in one, coffee (very strong flavor) in another, bakery flavors in still another one. Good luck!

I made a little space on ONE shelf for a few e-juice bottles, spare tanks, box of coils... that was two months ago! Today, that whole shelf is just for e-juice, spare bottles, and mixing/measuring equipment! We won't discuss the OTHER TWO shelves I've saved a ton over analogs, but pretty sure I'm making up for it right now in "hobby accessories", lol (and want MORE!!)

  41. Welcome and congrats. You'll have moments early on where you feel like you want a cigarette but stay strong and keep vaping. After a few months when the old smoking crap coughs up from your lungs and you get your taste and smelling back you'll hate the smell of them and be completely glad you made the switch to vaping.

  45. I cracked open a fresh 30ml bottle on Sunday the 18th, and just now emptied it ... 12 days later... that's 2.5ml per day average... or 17.5ml per week... in ONE flavor. My second flavor still has ~20ml left combined in the bottle and pre-filled tanks, so I've only used ~10ml of it in the past 12 days? I guess my usage is even less than I thought, now that I've found my favorite flavors! < 20ml per week equals < $4 in juice costs ... or 1/12 of the cost my weekly analog habit!! Now, if I can just stop stockpiling tanks and coils Hey, at least they were all really good prices, and you can never have too many tanks or coils, right?

I use stock coils and get great vapor. It's all in the juice ratios, imo. The people in the videos could be using juice with a higher PG ratio, it could be a whole number of things, actually.
