Nash, it appears that you have mentioned this in several different posts. You seem to be pushing it hard. What gives?

  2. I'm sitting here in my room in Baghdad, Iraq tonight really missing my wife and 6yr old son. I've been in country since March 23rd and although its only been a little over 2 months it feels like a lifetime. A lot has happened over the past 2 months. I've taken two helo flights to Basra (a butt numbing 3 1/2 hour flight from the Baghdad Green Zone) The second trip was pretty exciting as I had to escort my VIP to election polling sites for Iraq's first solo primary elections. Although the elections went down without a problem, violence is now spreading due to the results. Truth be told I'm just ecstatic that none of our teams were targeted. A few weeks ago I had the rare but dangerous opportunity to visit a flooded area in the town Abu Gharib which is just a few km's away from Fallujah (twice, as if once was not enough). Al Qaida is currently fighting the Gov't forces and has full control of Fallujah, Ramadi and most of Abu Gharib. Al Qaida blew up a dam and everything within a 15-20km radius is mostly under water. On a lighter note I just successfully completed my 10 day weapons and fitness re-qualification for the year. It was fun but the heat at times was almost unbearable, 104-110 degrees. My fitness level (thanks to vaping) has really increased in the past 2 months. I have completed a 1/2 marathon (sorry treadmill, too dangerous to run outdoors) in under 2 hours and am now working on getting my 10km run under 45 min (currently at 48 min). It's great to feel healthy again. My countdown to reuniting with my family has begun. On June 14th I get to leave for a quick but much needed 7 day break to meet up with my family in Europe who will be on vacation. I'm not too worried about it being short because come August 1st I plan on traveling back to the US to meet them there for a nice long 1 month break. I'm so looking forward to that time off. Anyways I just thought that I would share my recent experiences. Just so you all know I'm not in the military but work as a Dignitary Protection Officer for the United Nations. My military and police days are long past, but my sense of service is still very strong within me (I guess for many of us it's just all we know). Everything I've mentioned above has been made public via the United Nations. Take care and have a great day. DragonGunner

    Kanger tank question

More than anything I think it's a matter of preference. My preferred is 1.8 ohms. I don't need to crank up the voltage on my Spinners as much so the battery lasts longer.

  6. E-cigarettes boost quitting success among smokers, study finds May 20th, 2014, 6:26 am London(Reuters) - Smokers trying to quit are 60 percent more likely to report success if they switch to e-cigarettes than if they use nicotine products like patches or gum, or just willpower, scientists said on Wednesday. Presenting findings from a study of almost 6,000 smokers over five years, the researchers said the results suggest e-cigarettes could play an important role in reducing smoking rates and hence cutting tobacco-related deaths and illnesses. As well as causing lung cancer and other chronic respiratory diseases, tobacco smoking is also a major contributor to cardiovascular diseases, the world's number one killer. "E-cigarettes could substantially improve public health because of their widespread appeal and the huge health gains associated with stopping smoking," said Robert West of University College London's epidemiology and public health department, who led the study. Mainly funded by the charity Cancer Research UK and published in the journal Addiction, West's study surveyed 5,863 smokers between 2009 and 2014 who had tried to quit without using prescription medicines or professional help. The results were adjusted for a range of factors that might influence success at quitting, West said - including age, nicotine dependence, previous attempts to give up smoking, and whether quitting was gradual or abrupt. They showed that 20 percent of people trying to quit with the aid of e-cigarettes reported having stopped smoking conventional cigarettes. That compared with just 10.1 percent of those using over-the-counter aids such as nicotine replacement patches or gum. Of those using willpower alone, 15.4 percent had managed to stop. E-cigarettes contain nicotine - a stimulant not thought to be particularly harmful, although it is addictive - delivering it in a water vapor rather than in smoke from burning tobacco. A relatively new product, they have become highly controversial, with public health opinion split over whether they might be a powerful tool in helping those hooked on cigarettes to finally give up, or whether they simply replace one bad habit with another. Because switching to e-cigarettes from tobacco ones does not entail kicking the addiction to nicotine, some specialists say they could spell the end of smoking - which the World Health Organisation (WHO) calls "one of the biggest public health threats the world has ever faced". But critics point to a lack of long-term scientific evidence to support the safety and effectiveness of e-cigarettes, and warn they may also re-normalize smoking, enticing children or other non-smokers to take it up. West agreed that evidence about long-term use is e-cigarettes is scant, but stressed the balance of risks had to be weighed against the very strong evidence of tobacco's harms. "It's not clear whether long-term use of e-cigarettes carries health risks, but from what is known about the contents of the vapor these will be much less than from smoking," he said. Smoking tobacco kills half of all those who do it, according to the WHO, and has a death toll of 6 million people a year. West said evidence shows that smokers who seek professional help from doctors or health clinics that provide stop-smoking services have the highest success rates in quitting. "These almost triple a smoker's odds of successfully quitting compared with going it alone or relying on over-the-counter products," he said. (Reporting by Kate Kelland; Editing by Catherine Evans)

  7. Not really much advice here, as everyone's taste is different but I would try a dual double twisted 30g or a 28g twisted with 32g at about a .7 ohm build and use a little less cotton in your rda (meaning dont pack the deck full of cotton) then close your airholes a little. In my opinion and experience with vaping and rda's, the more air I have; the less flavor I have. (more air equals bigger clouds, less flavor; less air equals more flavor, less cloud)

    Ohm question

The ohms do change when the coil is under load or wet with juice. Just the nature of electronics and doesn't necessarily mean failure. Also, the ohms change with coil use as deposits build up on the coil. Usually it's pretty nominal and not critical.

    Ohm question

My 1.8 ohm coils rarely read below 2.o or 2.1. Not sure if it is the Ohm Reading mechanism in my Vamo or what. I just go with it, they work just fine and I am not concerned over .1-.3 variance.

    Ohm question

Like he said it could be starting to be on it's last leg but many VV/VW devices are not terribly accurate at reading. Just close enough. I find removing the coil and screwing it back in will usually change the reading slightly if it's off. It's not going to hurt anything so just use it until it needs replaced. Love my nautilus tank and I sometimes have a 1.8 coil head read at 1.9 on my vamo v5, It's normal sometimes.

    Ohm question

I've seen mine change up or down 0.1 Ohms on a regular basis, which I'm sure is due to "rounding error" or the general accuracy of the MOD's meter... I usually don't pay much attention to it. I've tested a couple of my coils against a friend's REAL coil-meter, and there was a difference between the two. For accuracy, I would trust a real coil-meter over the MOD's meter any day! Like BigClouds said, a resistance change doesn't necessarily mean it is going bad, although a large jump higher would lead you to believe failure is close. Carry an extra coil just in case, but it may continue to function just fine for another day... or another week... or even longer.

    Ohm question

I would say if the ohms of the coil r increasing, it's probably getting close to burning out. Of course this isn't the only reason i could be going up, just the most likely. As long as you r getting good vapor production and flavor I wouldn't change it out. Just make sure to carry an extra coil with u while out and about.

    Innokin VTR Color Choices

  19. I checked out the link, and the first thing I thought was "this isn't a compact box!"... I like the look of the tank, though... but coils are probably $3 each, lol. And the "knob" for selecting your settings looks exactly like the knob that adjusts tension on the strap-mechanism on my motorcycle's cup-holder Personally, I think it detracts from the sleek, tube-style look... It's probably a good unit, but hardly the box-style, and definitely not as compact as the VTR! And yes, I'm still holding out for a Titanium Blue VTR... or at least one in Brushed Black! C'mon Innokin... Start producing the VTR in at least some of the color options from the MVP line-up!

Buttered Popcorn, Canned Peaches and Cider from Fadora. Seriously some of the best vape I have ever had. I've also been into Suicide Bunny's "Mothers Milk".

  32. ok...first off....................... WOW second............... WOW stuff is amazing...buttered popcorn IS every bit like real buttered popcorn except the crunch....margarita is everybit like the real deal and comes with the salt...not kidding...I got a little packet of margarita salt with my order...lmao. I really feel like if I keep vaping it I may not pass a breathalyzer. Got to try out the black and mild, its pretty good...more realistic than what I got from palm vape. To be honest though I really like them both. Palm vape's version has a bit of a sweet twist to it which is still good. fadora is the home of real honest flavor. gonna need to make a bigger order..lol
