Well I didn't buy it, but my brother put in a birthday order for me today. A 26650 Stainless Steel Stingray and a 28mm Stillare RDA. I'm excited, lol. Tomorrow is payday, and I already have my shopping cart loaded up with an Xtar VP2 charger, two Sony US26650VT, and an MNKE 26650 battery.3 points -

its just normally ones who want to get into RDA's just for clouds are the ones who don't take the time to learn the safety side. like I said just my opinion.1 point -

I just bought three AeroBases on a whim, since they were on sale... basically a buy 2 get 1 free deal. My intention was to have spares for my AeroTank, and to TRY one on my KPT2's... WOW, Glad I took everyone's advice and tried one on my KPT2! They're like a whole new tank with the AeroBase... Next time I find a good deal on AeroBases, I guess I'll have to stock up, because I plan to pick up a few more KPT2's when I can catch them on sale1 point -
For someone brand new to vaping I always recommend starting with a starter kit. It gives you all the basic supplies you need to get going. Unfortunately, starter kits can be confusing and vary widely too. I recommend getting the Evod starter kit you can find right here at the vapor talk store. It's a kit that performs well, is competitively priced and will be useful for the next 6months while you read up and educate yourself on vaping to see if you want to explore further the possibilities of vaping. Once you buy this kit, you will need to purchase juice for refilling your tanks and you will need to buy "coils" which are the replaceable heating element that fits in your tank. They have a short life, usually lasting anywhere from a week to 3 weeks depending on the juice you are vaping. The coil that comes with the kit I mentioned is very popular and very available. Juice: Juice is VERY subjective and I'm not kidding. You may read a review about how amazing a juice tastes and you may hate it. You are just going to have to experiment. Best is if you have a local shop where you can test to your liking. In the liquid reviews section there are lots of good recommendations. Nicotine - if you are a smoker trying to quit nicotine levels in the juice are critical to your success. Please tell your smoking habits and I will advise further. I recommend you read all the stickies in each sub forum for further education. Some of them are a little outdated and do not contain the most modern equipment but the general idea is there. Ask questions in the main forum to clarify. Start with the sticky that covers the terminology of vaping. There are a lot of words to know so you understand what everybody is talking about. Until you understand the basics and have some experience with vaping, I would avoid any of the over complicated aspects of vaping like advanced personal vaporizers, "mods" , building your own coils and such. That's just advice for now. Tell us more about your history and purpose for vaping? Do you know what kind your friend has?1 point

Just my experience here but I was a pack a day camel filters smoker and I am fine with 12mg juice. I tied 24 and it was just too strong then went to 18mg and same thing. 12 mg is just fine although I do chain vape at some times of the day, like say when I'm driving or watching TV. Like I said this is just my personal experience and I wanted to chime in. 17 days without a stencher and not looking back!1 point

Found a site and some nice, helpful people in Mesa AZ. Took Tam's advice and slowed it down a notch (i.e. decided against the mechanical mod for right now). This is what I bought earlier today http://www.kidneypuncher.com/vision-spinner-v2/ http://www.kidneypuncher.com/sigelei-stainless-steel-zmax-v5/ http://www.kidneypuncher.com/haka-twist-vv-ego-battery/ http://www.kidneypuncher.com/xtar-wp2ii-intelligent-charger/2 http://www.kidneypuncher.com/corded-ego-charger/ http://www.kidneypuncher.com/aspire-nautilus/ http://www.kidneypuncher.com/aspire-bdc-glass-et-s/ http://www.kidneypuncher.com/aspire-nautilus-coil-heads-5pk/ http://www.kidneypuncher.com/aspire-bdc-atomizer-heads-5-pack/ http://www.kidneypuncher.com/samsung-inr18650-25r-2500mah/ They were out of stock on the mini davide and the mini aerotank so I'm gonna get those somewhere else. Probably get full size aerotank too. Missy, who I spoke to for about 45 min earlier today said the Haka twist batteries, although only 1500 mah, are built sturdier than the vision and the word from customers is that they are lasting a long time. Similarly the samsung batteries are getting better reviews from her customers than the AW's so I gave them a try too. Gonna go look for some different tanks and get the ball rolling on some juice. I'll let you guys know when I get some more stuff!!!1 point

Buttered Popcorn!!! Also, Home Canned Peaches, Apple Cider, Mountain Mist is also phenominal!! I will be trying others, but reordering the Buttered Popcorn. PLUS, Compenstine is cool as all get out and his customer service skill absolutely rock. You can't go wrong.1 point

New vaping dude with a few questions.
Tam reacted to Bearded Ninja for a topic
So I figured out that im an idiot and the drip tip does have threads to screw in. This makes it MUCH easier to get around until my PT mini 2's get here (hopefully soon). Thanks again for all the advice guys. I'm pretty stoked already that I haven't smoked either which is surprising considering how much I did smoke. I have a half of a pack in front of me I haven't even touched. Good times......1 point -
A good reminder how dangerous generic chargers are:
Tam reacted to Earthling789 for a topic
Sadly, even "good" equipment can fail, too, but not as fast, often, or violently as the cheap-o's. This is the one thing that does bother me about my eGo chargers... both have brand-markings, both have model numbers, but neither have UL certification... as is the case with MOST things from China. This is why I only charge them when I can watch them, check them often for heat build-up, and plug them into a protected outlet using a UL certified 120V AC > 5V DC @ 1A USB adapter (not my PC's USB port). I have also considered building my own "charging cage" for them as an extra precaution.... feeding voltage to a self-contained, shielded, protected, and insulated charging "box"... so if something shorts or blows-up, the risk will be minimized.1 point -
One more thing Before the zeus...over a periid of 3 mths i went from kool filter kings, dropped down to kool milds, then went to malboro 72 silvers (ultra lights). I slowly downgraded my nicotine intake. so im sure that helped make the crissover a lil easier. i been lurking on this forum for awhile, checking out stories, questions and reviews. so this was a planned process. had my mind made up on the zeus for awhile.zeus has a ton of positive reviews, plenty flavors available.1 point

I love the matte titanium blue idea Tam! I'd probably actually buy one then (not that I need it). Lol1 point -
I would love a matte titanium blue or better yet a deep royal purple. Lol. My fingerprint magnet is just that so I try hard not to look at it. This Saturday is a big vape meet in Denver where I'm hoping to see some vendors selling wraps that I can try on it. Wiping the fingerprints off is taking up all of my time...1 point
