  1. We overshot our landing.lol! Didn't get in till 5am this morning. Needless to say,but I won't be getting any sleep till this afternoon. Drinking coffee, getting ready to put lawn mower back together in the garage. Have to replace all three mandrel/spindle assemblies. Bearing failure on one caused the other two to fail. But, HEY, I don't have to mow this w/e! It's raining! Yaaaay ME! Sorrry, get a little loopy when sleep deprived.lol Taking my little gray girl, Sadie, to the groomer at 8:30. Gotta do some grocery shopping, pick up dog at 11, come home and drop off dog and put away groceries, then.... I'm HEADED TO BRANSON VAPE SHOP BABY!!! Been getting vape-blocked by life for the last 4 weekends. Time to get my vape on! Lol Cristy's gonna drop me off there and probably hit 6 or 7 stores in Branson. Which means, I'll have at least 3-4hrs hang time with some friends and the owner. Probably spend a few bucks. Get a chance to do some coil building and unwind.

Vaping is not a stop smoking aid. It is an alternative to smoking. I support Autumn and her choice.

    My First Build

Well finally got all the supplies in to do my own build (not at the local shop). What do yall think? 28 gauge kanthal wrapped with .6 x .1 kanthal ribbon. came out to .41 ohms.

  8. Also, neat little trick when tasting a juice. Get a glass of ice cold water. Take a drink and then vape. Flavors REALLY come out.

  10. finished off my last 3 coil heads I had left that needed rebuilding. rebuilt a duel coil head to a single coil and used 2.5mm ekowool as the main wick, 2.5mm ekowool as the first flavor wick and then added a cotton second flavor wick. coil turned out great at 2.5ohms it vapes just like an ordinary 2.5ohm kanger single coil head

  13. well I stayed up till 2am building coils, the first one I built prolly 4 times till I got the ohms in check. tried it first with ekowool and it was wicking way too much so I packed in a couple of flavor wicks with the coil, viola. tried out the cotton too, that gives quit the vapor I must say but the flavor is much different. not sure if I like it or hate it but it is much easier to work with the cotton than ekowool. may try my hand at a duel coil and see how that one goes.

Just like with anything else with vaping: it all depends on you and how you use it. If you follow their directions to the letter, clean regularly and vape only light colored, not too sweet juices, the HH.357s have been known to last a year or so (give or take a few months). If you're like me and vape dark, sweet juices, even with regular cleaning and maintenance, they only last a month or so.

  19. this has been one hell of a day... I got all the supplies I ordered in the mail today except for the kanthal 32ga a1. I also ordered up a couple of nautilus tanks last night. visited a new vape store in Humble, Texas that just blew my mind with the selections they had in both juice and tanks/batts/mods/rba/rbd...they had it all!..so I picked up some kanthal 28ga a1, organic cotton, joytec evic, and a bottle of Halo's kringle's curse. I was impressed with this shop enough I thought of a great mother's day gift...let my mom run amuck and get what ever she wanted from there. so she picked out a kanger t3s tank and coils, e-cig lanyard, bottle of mad alchemist "fairy dust elixir"....that's all she wanted...as for me though...ugh well I got kanger airflow valve, bottle of lazarus vintage "nebula", bottle of spanky's wacky vapes "Z", bottle of Halo "Malibu". My mom had a ball at their juice bar trying every thing she could get her hands on. now im going to watch some reruns of House and try to build a coil...lol

    Battery Safety

Yeah, the point I was trying to make is that "opinion" on safety is not safety. Besides the safety comes from the user, not the product. A knife as a product is totally safe unless you put it in the hands of someone who doesn't know how to handle it. Is a 20ft extension ladder safe? Well, sure it is if you know how to use it. I'm sure there are a LOT of people who just read these posts and never make posts themselves and just trust what they read on a post and hope somebody responsible has posted. No offense to you Cyan, but your post came off like you were looking for opinions. This is science, man. There are laws involved. There is a correct way to go about sub ohming with safety.

    Ms. T's Bakery?

Hence, safer alternative! I know what it's done for me, can't speek for others. The beauty of all this is that we have the ability to make our own choices. Good, or bad. No matter the vice, it's on us to do as we choose. But let's not kid ourselves that if we do things others in our lives don't like, we will here it! If its not freinds or family, it can be in a venue like this. Everyones choices lend to the opinions they have about things..

I think some people feel non smokers becoming addicted to nicotine (arguably more addictive than cocaine) hurt the cause to keep vaping legal and only sensibly regulated. I however support your choice as an adult. I choose to drink alcohol knowing it is detrimental same with other things. It is understandable for someone who kicked a 20 year habit drops tobacco and is working their way to 0 nic to take a tough love approach. For me to each their own and everyone (for now) has the right to choose to vape or not vape. Just be aware in no time you will be addicted to nicotine and will be the rest of your life like us former smokers that were stupid enough to start because it was cool. I have no plans to ever drop nicotine levels from 18 and occasionally 24mg. That's my journey and you have yours. We all do. Nicotine in and of itself is relatively harmless and very much like caffeine. I am addicted to both lol.

Differing opinions are not a problem. The world would be a very boring place if we all thought the same. However, rudeness isn't necessary. There is a much more courteous way of communicating. Jeff, I agree and thank you. Since when did smokers have sole rights to vaping?

True but hundreds if not thousands don't know to ask. I am anti prohibition of anything reasonable and would hate to see something like that happen but I think it may be inevitable.

Nicotine is adictive, just like caffine. While nicotine may not be "more" harmful, it's no reason to start usening it just because you feel left out! As a former smoker, I aknowledge vapeing as a much safer alternative to analogs! You can choose to do as you wish, for whatever reasons they may be..... If you are comfortable whith what you do, then so be it. Just know that you may find oposite opinions as you go.

Aquatroy- I don't know you and I am going to assume you didn't bother to reread your post before putting it out there...because it is very rude. I am a 34 year old adult and I certainly did not start vaping because I thought it looked cool. Social aspect was referring to my husband and most of our friends smoking. When they go outside to have a cigarette, I am usually the only one left sitting by myself and when we are in a public place, I am uncomfortable with it. While I certainly do not have to smoke to go outdoors with them while they do, if I choose to vape instead....well, what is YOUR problem with that? For you to insinuate that I am forcing my body to become addicted to something AND calling me stupid? Completely out of line. If I understand the proponents of e-cigarettes correctly, nicotine in this form is no more harmful to my body that my regular cup of coffee or glass of tea. Am I a moron for my morning cup of joe? Would you like to explain what an idiot I am for having a soda with my burger? I mean, my post personally offends you to the point of name calling and offensive comments towards me? To everyone who liked his rude post, I guess I must have misunderstood your original intent...everyone has been so friendly and helpful until now. I could be rude right back and point out that I am not the STUPID one who ever got addicted to cigarettes in the first place, since it is pretty widely known how detrimental they are to your health, but what will that solve? In the end, you are entitled to your opinion. I just can't understand why you must be so rude about it.

    Battery Safety

I think what Bebop is trying to align is that those charts are created as a pretty legit, standard notion of what is safe and what is not safe. If it isn't safe, then no matter how many people on an online forum say it is, it is not safe. We can't go against the ohm law and there are some inexperienced people on here who might be those five that say they do it all of the time. Pushing any battery limits put stress on the battery and puts stress on your device and ultimate is how things get dangerous.

    Finally!

Coming in at 1.4ohms....my first coil has been built! Got an Igo-L off a friend for a few bucks so I built a coil on it and away we go. Immediately had to drill out the air hole to 5/64th but now it hits quite well for a 1.4ohm single!

  43. Our cats go crazy for summer weather! They all line up on our balcony and sit outside in the heat. I keep thinking that they'll overheat but they eventually come back inside when they're too warm. But they love it. Myself on the other hand am not a fan of the hot and sticky weather. I just don't like breaking into a sweat just walking down my driveway to get the mail. It's been real warm lately. Thank god for floor fans and cold mai tais!

I've got two ego-c twist with a kanger mini protank 2 and a kanger t3s. I use a mt. dew and smorg's horde flavor. I got my setup from myvapestore.com. I think I got the two batteries, the t3s, an Iclear 16, charger, and three bottles of fluid for like 80 bucks. wasn't that bad of a deal.

  47. From my personal experience, the Anyvape Davide mini, which is essentially the same as a Kanger Pro Tank 2 mini, gives much better flavor and performance. The people I've turned onto the Davide mini all agree.

You're welcome! I'm glad you like the HH.357 but I can't take the credit. It was thanks to Rixter who turned me on to them in the first place. I just shoot off my mouth about them to everyone else. Lol. These things are great, though. Even at the price for the custom ($25 each), they're more than worth it for the performance and flavor I get.
