Very impressive. My little pinky won't have to get as much of a workout pressing the button on the Magneto like it does with the K100. Veeeery nice! All the twisting earlier? That was me trying to figure out how to get it apart to put in a battery and taking the whole thing apart instead. *gigglefits* I think I just found my new favorite mod. Thanks, Comp!2 points -
Just got a gold colored Magneto mechanical mod from Fadora Vapor. Pair that with a Kanger Pro Tank 2 with a 1.8 ohm coil and an 18650 battery and it's rocking my socks off. Haven't been able to put it down since I opened the package tonight. It's become my favorite mod in just a few short hours. Compenstine, the owner of Fadora, is a member here and gives the most excellent customer service, great prices and some of the very best tasting quality juice. His Signature line is amazing!2 points

nicotine urin test?
Compenstine and one other reacted to Tam for a topic
My friend used to do a variation of that. She's take their stuff away and put it in a locked trunk. Then, come Christmas time she'd wrap it up and they got to open it as a gift -- if they were good -- and repeated as necessary the next time they didn't do what they were supposed to. It was win-win for her. One, there was the teaching her kids that their actions had consequences and two, it saved a ton of money at Christmas. Lol!2 points -
Vape mail bonanza today! First, I got 250 ft of A-1 Kanthal 28 GA wire from TEMCo. Second, my Trident V2 RDA came in from Discount Vapor. Last but not least, got my two 30 amp, Sony 18650 3.7 volt, 2100 mAh batteries complete with a pretty blue case and my new gold Magneto from Fadora Vapor!2 points

Last night as I was going to sleep I noticed that for the first time since I can remember I could breath!!!! No wheezing! I think I actually was awake for a good 30 mins just trying to see if I would have that familiar wheezing sound and feel in my lungs..... I know, I need to get a life. lol But it was amazeing to have that feeling. I know I'm not the first to experience this, but I just kept thinking, this is how it's supposed to be.2 points -

whats up everyone. I wanted to start a thread that gives new diyers some advice we wish we had when we were starting out. getting rite into it here we go I have a trick when measuring liquid with a syringe. If have a hard time getting the exact measurement you need because of those annoying little bubbles you get , well after you get the liquid into the syringe if you draw in some air maybe .5 ml it gives you a super accurate line to measure. vs well it may not help everyone but when i was starting out this really helped alot with getting exact measurements. as far as steeping goes. DO NOT MICROWAVE YOUR JUICE>>>>>. put the bottles in a bowl of hot water. just high enough to cover the liquid .. or it will float. leave the juice in the bath for 3 mins then shake or do what i use and get a old car buffer and do this [media] but if you dont have one find something that vibrates.................. and rubber band the liquid to it.......and yes hahaha you can use one of those...but no not recommended. if you have the cash get a ultrasonic cleaner http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/390795284830?lpid=82 these cut the steeping time in half.. ok im done for now ill post more later.. but i wanna see what everyone els has........... oh and the last one real quick.............LABEL . LABEL YOUR JUICE. DONT ASSUME YOU WILL REMEMBER...YOU WONT.1 point -

nicotine urin test?
Joshuab3687 reacted to Bushwick for a topic
I don't have kids, but if I did, I'm not quite sure how I'd raise them. "Strict parents raise the best liars." Kind of true for me. My parents were really strict. As a result, I became a sneaky little kid. I did a lot of stuff I'll probably never tell my family about. But the OP has strict parent on a different level. I'm sorry, but getting in trouble for having a vape at the age of 18? I could understand catching some **** for cigarettes, but a vape!? Even for cigarettes, nicotine tests? What? Don't get me wrong, I don't agree with the author's actions at all. In fact, his post makes me kind of suspicious. I can't see why he'd have any problems owning up and talking with them about it... unless... he's a minor. hmm..1 point -

I found my step kids hate discipline with a smile and please. LOL There is nothing worse to a Teenage girl than taking her Internet away. Oh and yes I did give her the If you don't like the rules there is the option of moving out speech. She tried it for the summer and was slapped with reality and bills. I got the you can't do this that and the other I'm 18 speech and just smiled at her. I think I saw flames come out her ears when I said "This is true and I can always start making you pay your share of what you use around here too now that your 18."1 point -

Its the blakent generalization that shows what she thinks about vaping and us as vapers. Its a psuedo-intellectual way to tack on a negative connotation. Its easy to do behind the comfort of a keyboard. Just interacting with a lot of the people here on VT, I'm enthused about what I see as far as diversity of occupation, lifestyle, and thought! We're only nerds to people like her because we've taken the time to educate ourselves on a "healthier" alternative. The biggest difference between us and people like her, is that, we've taught ourselves HOW to think, and she's only ever been taught WHAT to think.1 point -

I should mention.... I didn't build either coil. I do not feel comfortable enough with my own building skills at this point in time and safety is a priority for me. Both were built by separate experienced vapers who rebuild all the time. The next coils I will build under the supervision of someone experienced, and it will be that way until I feel comfortable enough with my mods and experience.1 point -
Kanger Aero or Aspire Nautilus?
wikidbitch reacted to Aquatroy for a topic
I own both and prefer the Kanger. I have converted several KPT 1s and 2s with the airflow base, and it makes a huge improvement. I have only heard of one instance of someone drilling out an Aero but who knows why, they have great airflow, and infinite adjustment factor, where the Nautilus only has four options and it does not lock, but clicks in place, three of the four air holes are too small and one is too large, so I could never find a sweet spot. Tank is a monstrosity at 5 ml, and breaks easy, I get a dozen calls a week for replacement tanks. Coils are more expensive than Kangers, nautilus mouthpiece is small and wobbly. Aero tank has been redesigned from the KTP2 with a flat top, brushed chrome instead of polished, and fit and finish is top notch with a well fitting mouthpiece.1 point -
The reason vaping is getting such negative press is because both the FDA and anti smoking groups believe that electric cigarettes will attract minors and mislead them to actually start smoking. I believe that if a minor is going to smoke, he/she will do it regardless of electric cigarettes. The FDA (probably paid by big tobacco) has also put out negative reports stating that there is no proof that vaping is a safer alternative to smoking when there is clearly enough evidence to support that it is. Scientific studies have concluded that the chemicals in electric cigarettes are completely safe and non cancerous. Propylene Glycol which is the main ingredient in most all e liquids is non toxic in amounts under 1 gallon and is 100% non toxic when vaped. It's do to the fact that heating it turns it into a water vapor and also kills any remaining toxins in the chemical itself. Propylene Glycol has also been proven to kill most of the bacteria that can affect our lungs and is found in food and products we use on a daily basis. In my opinion most of the negative press that e cigs are getting is due to the fact that the public is being mislead by the fact that the FDA has yet to approve it and that the American Cancer Society has not studied its long term affect on the human body...1 point

Vaping to curve junk food cravings and relieve stress
Mtdobies reacted to Joshuab3687 for a topic
And then add in the fact that the mainstream media is in the governments pocket, they are gonna report what they are told too. Investigative journalism is dead. Along with extrapolative thought, common sense, and integrity.1 point -
Big pharma for one. They're losing a crap-ton of money because people are using e-cigs and not needing all the "smoking cessation" aids. Then, there's all the meds that people have to buy in order to breathe once emphysema and COPD sets in. At one point my mother's insurance refused to cover one of her nebulizer meds she needed to breathe. It wasn't an option for her to not use it so I paid out of pocket: $571.00 for a 30 day supply. There are many people (some on this forum), who were on cholesterol meds, high blood pressure meds, etc. who no longer need them now that they're vaping. It cuts into Big Pharma's bottom line in a huge way. Then, of course, there's Big Tobacco who are losing smokers to vaping. At an average of $5 - $9 per pack, figure a pack a day for most people... you do the math. Also doing more math is the government who doesn't get the huge amounts of tax monies from cigarette sales. All this and more are the reasons why e-cigarettes are getting bad press.1 point
