My names Samantha. You can call me Samantha, Sam, Sammie. I have been vaping on and off for a few months, but only within the last week became fully invested. On my 4th day straight with no cigarettes! I want to learn all I can about vaping! Want to meet new people and make new friends! All comments are welcome! Thank you!

I went to a new B&M that opened up not to far yesterday and I was pretty impressed with the selection and quality of his stuff. He mixes his own liquids, and claims that he is about to sign a national contract to be sold in 3,000+ shops, he carries a large selection of tanks, mods, accessories and is very knowledgeable. When he realized I knew a little bit about vaping he brought out a black nemesis and chi you, to me they looked very similar to black chrome, but he claimed they were black iridium coated - I work in sheet metal manufacturing and I had never heard of that kind of chemical film before for metals. Has anyone ever heard of a black iridium coating for mods? He said they were custom manufactured for him, and he was selling them fast. Reason I'm curious is because the black chrome finish available on lots of mods seems to wear off very quickly, and I'm wondering if the same thing would happen with the nemesis and chi yous he has. I asked him to text me some pictures of the two mods and I will post them up on here in case anyone is interested in seeing them, or purchasing them. I walked away with my very first dripper (nimbus) and 15ml of Banana Nut Bread in 12mg mixed up fresh while I waited.

6 wraps of 32g around a 5/64th bit should yield around a 2.4ohm coil If you did that twice and wanted to run dual coil setup, you'd still yield a nice 1.2 ohm setup. You can still run that on many regulated mods

If that stuff works and it comes in different colors I might need to look into the purple. That way everything would match the purple leopard spotted seat covers in my Impala.

I would say it's about 75% VG but would be guessing. I discussed it with Jared and it fluctuates between 65 and 75VG depending on the flavor. That's why they say no pg added instead of exact percentages.

They call it "no PG added" as opposed to 100%vg since they use PG based flavoring or that contains PG.

Yes, some are stronger than others. Coffee flavors usually give off the strongest from what I've experienced. Fruit flavors are usually pretty light. We're not supposed to vape in the building where I work so I stealth vape in my office. My boss walked in one day just a second after I exhaled an orange-cranberry juice. He sniffed and asked what smelled so good. I just shrugged and said, "Maybe it's the new air freshener I just put up?"

What you described tells me that you have a higher ohm (probably 2.5 ohm or higher) in your CE5, which is why it won't work on your 650 fixed battery. Try turning your 900 up, vape, up, vape, repeat until you get a slight burnt taste. Back it down just a bit. That should be the sweet spot on your CE5 with the coil that's in it now. Glad you got it working for you.

So this probably the problem with my other two tanks I thought were broke. thanks goodness for this website! I know I will have more questions in the future, well more like a day or two, but thank you again so much for the help!!

Cool beans....thanks for the vote of confidence. As far as vaping more or less than I was smoking....I think I probably vape more than normal lol. I got a EVOD BCC (in case you want to look it up) and I easily go through two and half or three full tanks a day. I just enjoy smoking. whether they be analogs or vaping. I enjoy the hell out of it!! Always have. As long as I am not getting nauseas or sick or anything, I should just be groovy......right?

You may have smoked lights, but you were smoking almost 2 packs a day. Light version style cigarettes do not mean less nicotine. Several factors affect how much nicotine your body took in. How large of a draw, time between inhale/exhale and the amount of cigarettes smoked in a day. I agree with Tam and Troy. Vape what works for you. It is okay that you are using 24mg to start out. You may find you start vaping less than you were smoking. When you feel you are ready take the next step down. It is okay to mix up your mg levels during the day too. You might need 24 mg earlier in the day but find that something lower works better towards the evening. Good luck and welcome to the forum.

You're just fine. When we give up the analogs it's normal to need a little extra nicotine to stave the cravings. Once you vape for awhile you might want to look at lower the nic a bit. The numbers are loose guidelines, not written in stone. If it ain't broke, don't fix it would be a good mantra for you at this point in time. If it's throat hit you want, you could go with a higher PG ratio in your juice. That also affects throat hit. But for now I'd stay with what's working for you. As a Marlboro Light smoker for decades I started with 24 mg of nic to get me through the quitting phase. After awhile I noticed I was getting slightly dizzy, a little nauseous, headaches, etc. (all symptoms of nicotine overdose), so I lowered the nic level in my juice. Problem fixed. You're doing fine as is. Keep it up!
