    What have i missed?

Let's see... I believe most of us agree that we like Kanger Pro Tank 2s but the coils have been iffy lately as far as quality is concerned. The KPT3 (dual coil), is pretty good. We also agree that the first batch of dual coils sucked but after redesign -- they suck less. It's still probably a better bet to use the single coils on them and make them into a KPT2 instead. We're still recommending Vision Spinners or eGo Twists to our noobs, half of which don't listen and go buy an advanced mod that they can't figure out how to use and then argue with veteran vapers about how it operates and then wind up taking our first suggestion to buy a Vision Spinner or an eGo Twist. These usually go away fairly quickly. Those noobs who do listen and ask intelligent questions and know how to actually spell out words instead of using text speeeeek 2 try 2 meke u c there pnt -- stick around and add to the community. We have a fair number of really great new members now. Also, we're still trying to impress upon the noobs that there really isn't a "best" out there, just a what's "best" for you. I think they think we're lying to them and not giving up our precious intel about the best tank, the best battery/mod, the best juice, the best American made nicotine, the best throat hit, etc. Lather, rinse, repeat. Did I leave anything else out, guys and gals? I think I hit the main points. ETA: Oh! And just so you know, Blu, I've finally got the hang of direct dripping and have brought a few of our new members into the fold. Thanks for all your help when I was just starting. Now, I'm working on building my own coils.

  2. You might want to start a new thread for this different topic, you're likely to get more answers there. At 194 pages your question is likely to be buried here in the "Bump when you get something new" thread.

  3. If I were to start today knowing what I know now I would get this kit and upgrade to 900mah Spinners and Kanger Pro Tank V2. I do not get much liquid from them anymore as I prefer Fuzion, VapeDudes, and ECBlends. I will say their "Traditional Tobacco" (Sweet-Vapes) is the closest liquid I ever found to an analog. It got me through the initial "I need this to taste like a cigarette" phase. Now tobacco flavors repel me lol. http://www.sweet-vapes.com/shop?page=shop.product_details&flypage=vmj_color_plus.tpl&product_id=2104&category_id=54

  4. If you try to skimp, you will 100% spend more in the long run. If it doesnt say JoyeTech or Vision on it and it is an Ego style battery just stay away imo.

  5. I started with a similar kit. I wouldn't go cheap. That's me, though. 9 times out of 10 going cheap ends up being a waste. Even as it is, you'll get a good vape from this kit, but 2 months from now you'll have experience, you'll have more education and you'll be looking at even more things and this kit will become like your smoking ; a thing of the past.

    Excited!

Nah 24 gets it done when I need a hardcore burst lol. 90%+ of the time I am solidly on 18mg and am happy with that. I try and only use 24mg when I need to at this point because it dehydrates me terribly no matter how much water I take in. Amazing that my wife can vape 3-4ml a day of 24mg. She is 6' tall, 130lbs, and can drink my *** under the table too haha.

    Good juices, priced great

Not in price, many that are better in the flavor dept. Just look thru the forums here. Plenty of vendors mentioned.

    What have i missed?

Lol, Tam. Good stuff, i'm glad you got the dd'ing figured out. Guess i better get back on the grind and get some equipment going again. These v2's are killing me. Then again i have always been a sucker for 808's. As far as helping you out, i'm just glad you got off the smokes and you've obviously become a valuable member to the community. Luckily a new vapor lounge just opened up in town so i plan on spending some time down there to school them, surprisingly there prices are fairly competitive with online prices.

    What have i missed?

Tam may have bought a torch but she still hasn't been able to fill the damned thing with Butane. Lol! The can hates me and is fighting back. You're all safe at the moment. Eventually, if I ever get the thing filled I'll be sure to give you guys warning so you can duck and cover...

    What have i missed?

What you missed is TAM BUILDING HER OWN COILS. She bought a torch!. We're looking forward to pictures. You're just in time. Jeffb has been awful quiet lately. I'm sure he'll chime in. And your post is still going strong...

  20. April the 23rd will be my one year and I down to 18mg with no real goal of a further drop. If I do it will be a while. I still keep a tank of 24 mg around. My wife who dropped analogs for the vape the same day still is only 24mg with no thoughts of dropping down. Everyone has a different goal. Mine is not to give up nicotine, I rather like it lol. Mine is to give up tobacco and my wife and I have both been tobacco free for 10 months now!

  22. Yes! to all of the above made suggestions. I was a pack a day Marlboro Light smoker for more years than I want to admit to now. When I first started it was with 24 mg of nicotine. That's what got me over the hump and off the analogs. After I put the analogs behind me for a few weeks I dropped it down to 18 and more quickly dropped it down even further to 12, sometimes 6 mg of nicotine. YMMV.

  28. You'll spend a little over $100 to get fully set up with a satisfying vape. I recommend 2 vision Spinners (batts), a charger, 3 Kanger T3S's or 3 Evod BCC's or 3 Kanger mini protanks, (they all use the same coils). Couple packs of coils. Then there is juice which is highly subjective. You'll burn another $50 - 100 finding your juice. If you dont have a local place you can try juices, ask for recommendations in eliquid sub forum. Start at 18mg (nic). Dont think about it, just do it. You wont regret it. Dont go too cheap on the juice. That's where success is. Good luck!

    Pro Tank Mini won't work

You also might need to raise the center post of your battery. Sometimes some tanks will push it too far down for other tanks to make contact.
