  1. Here's a thought. Forget getting throat hit from juices. Get yourself an RDA and let me build a coil for you. Man, have I got some harsh throat hit for you!

  2. It lasted maybe 8 - 9 months? It just suddenly won't hold much of a charge. Oh well, good excuse to go shopping for another spinner.

  3. Yeah. I'll get it, it's just going to take a bunch more practice and trial and error. Either that or I'll beat it into submission, whichever comes first.

  4. You have to learn what a cloud is, and how it is made safely, BEFORE you start chasing them.....it's a small learning curve, but you must take the right path to get where you want to be...

  5. Like Joshua said, there is no "best". It's all in the eyes, or throat, of the consumer. What's good th for one may be too much th for another, and nic levels and taste are definitely subjective - you don't want to chase a higher nic level than you are used to just for a mythical th that may end up making you, but not the poster, choke. Same with "flavor notes". What I taste may or may not be what you taste, and vice versa. For example, I tried LOTS of Irish Cream (Bailey's) flavored juices that all the reviews said tasted exactly like having a Bailey's in your hand. I haven't found a single one, yet, that to me tastes like that. Your best bet is to try flavors out, try different ratios, and see what you like.

  6. The so called "vape pros", have been vaping, most likely for a long time. They know that the only "REASON" that the e-juice even provides that "unicorn" throat hit that you're chasing, is caused by the Nic level, and the PG/VG ratio. This forum exists to provide a fun but educating place for the exchange of information, help, techniques, on just good old fashioned advice. I understand that you wanna just be told whats the best. But, there is NO BEST! Futhermore, you won't get much help here by slamming the people who offer said help. IMHO

  7. Did you quit cold turkey or gradually Do you still smoke Do you plan to quit vaping Are you dropping nicotine levels Is it a hobby/recreational or is it practical Other health benefits besides breathing Also your $20 savings I thought was a little conservative. Sorry, not trying to be overly critical. Wish you well on the paper!

  13. If you're going to go cloud chasing you'll want to get an RDA and learn how to build your own coils...

  18. If you've been getting answers like nic level, PG/VG ratios, vv (variable voltage), vw (Volkswagon -- just kidding, variable wattage), etc. then you've been lucky to have hit on forum members who know what they're talking about and are trying to give you good, true advice. You'll find that we'll say the same things here. If you finally do find a forum that tells you different? They either don't know what they're talking about or they're feeding you a line. Like Josh said above, there is no one BEST juice. There is, however, a juice that is best for YOU, but only you will be able to say which one that is. Trial and error is the name of the game.

    Coughing?

It's good now.... Just coughing sporadically between draws, now right after. Probably is my lungs trying to get rid of everything. My husband however, who is still smoking, is adamant about doing straight to lung (I go mouth then lung). When he does it he coughs so daggum hard and loud it scares the cats!

    Coughing?

Okay, here's my last suggestion and then I'm tapped out. When you took the hit, did you draw it into your mouth first, wait a second and then inhale? If you went straight for the lung inhale, that could also be why you had the coughing fit. Not a good thing to do until you're used to the vapor.

    Cloud chaser,or not?

Could care less as long as what I use it easy to use and I get my nic fix. I need no more vapor than what my 50-60%VG liquids out of a KPT2 or Mini Davide produce.

  22. OK all good info, but about how often do you change out your coils? 1 week, 2 weeks, a month, etc.? And does all of this fall true for the Kager Protank and the Viva Nova?
