The love of my life will be getting a pair of diamond and emerald earings, a large bouqet of flowers, a nice dinner out, and an upgrade in her vaping arsenal. The other love of my life will be getting a bath, grooming, love, and a milkbone! Lol2 points -
MG = milligram -- as in how many milligrams of nicotine is in the juice PG = propylene glycol -- this carries the flavor, gives more throat hit, thins juice VG = vegetable glycerine -- this gives more vapor, thicker juice, smoother throat hit, slightly sweeter (more of this and it gunks up coils faster) VC = not a clue what this is. Sorry!2 points

Shopping Spree
Joshuab3687 reacted to MadMax for a topic
Hi Guys, I've been vaping for about 3months now. My set up is a E-go twist 1100 with Pro tank and iClear40 tanks I use Sweet Southern Vapes because it's a 60% Vg. I recently bought some cowboy 18mg, but I forgot to wash the tank out and I had left over 555 residue I got upset because my tank with the Cowboy juice tastes like 555 now . Next time I will change the wick and rinse the old juice out with water, making sure the parts dry out of course. 2. I bought a Pro-tank and like it much better, more flavor in the bottom wicking tanks and more smooth, I bought it because its a glass/pyrex tank that wont' be damaged when I vape Atomic Fireball, (Which I really like)1 point -
Like Tam said!!! Dripping is my sweet spot for flavor, vapor and throat hit....tanks are great for driving (for me anyway) Like said previously....anybody new to vaping should get the hang of things before trying dripping, just like all things vaping, theres a learning curve.1 point

I really get a kick out of watching smokers freeze when I drive by an office building...or even better when I drive by a school and all the teachers have to go across the street, off campus and freeze their analogs off!!1 point

Youtube the dry burn for some good visuals. You can definitely extend the life of a coil. 2 biggest errors i made in dry burning is too much voltage for too long causing coil failure or not doing the pulse burn enough times to make it effective. The wick must be dry! When the coil glows red evenly and it is no longer producing any vapor and the wick turns white you are good to go. You can only do it a couple times because the wick does deteriorate and eventually loses its ability to wick well. Hope that helps1 point

Problem with Maraxus Mod and Protank 3
Joshuab3687 reacted to RobChase for a topic
I noticed the same on ecf. I'm far from the knowledge most have here on vt but I can chime in on things I've had experience with and no one puts you down for doing it. I learned from my military days...yes a former jarhead that there is no such thing as a stupid or wrong question. If you don't know then ask.1 point -

I love how the veteran vapers here don't intentionally put you down when you ask questions! I was on the ECF for a day before I realized that was just a bunch of haters putting me down for seeking knowledge. Just from the info I've received here at VT, my learning curve has shortened and am advancing at a faster but safer rate! Thanks for being here VT !!!1 point -

I agree with you brother. You can always find an answer in VT Forum. Someone has always been there and done that. I also love how it doesn't matter what your experience level is. The more experienced vapors pass on their knowledge to all the new vapors in easy to understand instructions. I couldn't imagine what it was like back in the beginning and you had no help. Trial and error I guess.1 point -

Buddy of mine had couple of the same issues. He put the adapter on and it worked fine I also heard that the new pt on the bottom of coil have a different grommet. The new piece collapses and doesn't allow for airflow. My buddy just cut small holes into each side and it works like a champ.1 point -

what is the best voltage and wattage settings
Joshuab3687 reacted to Aquatroy for a topic
Polycarbonate = Plastic I meant all tanks, plastic, glass, metal, all have issues from time to time. Lost o rings, worn threads, poor construction. It will leak..sooner or later....1 point -
Okay, your either in VV or VW mode, can't do both, so whatever you left it on last is what your running, I like VW....anywhere from 6.5 to 9 watts depending on the juice and tank and how old the coil is...1 point

CVS doesn't want to sell tobacco products. It's a great time to be vaping!

Yet they still sell unhealthy junk food which contributes to the deaths of more people than smoking.1 point -
Just like everything else with vaping -- it's a personal preference. I prefer to direct drip, it gives me much better flavor than any tank I've used to date. Dripping can be a minor inconvenience, but I've been doing it for so long now I don't even think about it. Getting muted flavor out of a tank is more of an inconvenience to me these days.1 point

Yes but if you pick a popular tank like the protank 2 or anyvape davide you can usually find coils a lot cheaper in the $1.50 range. When you get a bit of experitence you can learn to "dry burn" your older coils and prolong their life a little too.1 point

A cartomizer is an atomizer with filler material inside. You don't drip into a cartomizer, you need to let the filler material soak up the e-liquid until it's completely saturated before you vape. An atomizer has a metal outer layer with the heating coil inside, no filler. They can either have a bridge or be debridged (bridgeless), and you directly drip your juice onto the heating coil and vape. You don't fill the atomizer, you use just a few drops at a time or you wind up flooding it. You drip into an RDA (rebuildable dripping atomizer), but an RBA has a tank for the juice and is not specifically made for dripping. I agree with you in that, if you're a new vaper, I'd go with a good tank system first before getting into direct dripping.1 point

I just did my first twisted dual coil today and WOW! Have I been missing out vapor production and flavor are amazing! It's at about .35 ohms which is pretty comfortable for me. I've gone below down to .21 but it's a bit of a pain in the you know what dripping every 2-3 hits. Much better with a twisted set up1 point -

Is there any type of wire easily found around the house thats safe to use for coils that performs well? Im interested in trying a bread tie. I used one minus the paper and plastic to make a homemade cigarette lighter while in jail so im curious to know if anyone has tried this on a vaporizer.1 point
