    Thank you for the help

Good afternoon all, I got into this around ten days ago. One trip to the store and 8 eBay purchases later (although only 2 have been delivered sit to snow in Atlanta) I have been analog ample free for 3 days. I can't thank this forum enough for the invaluable information. When my kids (3 & 6) tell me they want a cigarette I know it was time to quit. That and it hurt to breath in the morning. I made it through the military and still didn't quit but enough is enough. I won't lie and say I don't want one, the wife still smokes and I still have a few beer every night, but this makes it bearable. That and I am a tinkerer by nature,my background is in electronics, and I am a big car and gun enthusiast, so I am prone to tinkering and upgrading. So I think I have found yet another hobby to dump money (that the wife insists we done have) into. Sorry for the rant, thank you all for the information, I am very happy to be here and vaping.

    Cigarette Test

I quit smoking about a year. I smoked a just few cigarettes a day. I became allergic to tobacco smoke. I still have problems with the respiratory system. Little experiment which shows what are you doing with your lungs during smoking. It can be good motivation to give up smoking ciggies. http://youtu.be/lPAFtxZA7MM Glad this isn't going into my system anymore. They should show things like this in school to middle school students. May have made me think twice back in the day.

    Hey all!

Hello all! Relative e-cig newbie here! I had the same first experience with Electronic Cigarettes that many people did... it was bad. Somewhere in 2010 or 2011 I was smoking cigarettes pretty regularly, more as a substitute during a break from work than a full on addiction, but more than a pack every week or so. My boss's daughter at the time had a $10-$15 disposable that she would take drags from here and there, and another co-worker had another brand that I didn't even bother looking at. Cigarettes were good enough for me, and I hadn't found them reliable enough to use in place of traditional tobacco. Long story short, I took a few drags. The rest of the night was filled with nausea and headaches, so my e-cig journey was pretty much halted there. But there's always light at the end of the tunnel! Near the end of 2013, after finding my way to the Vapor|Talk store in Highland Park, NJ - I discovered that the world of e-cigs was so much larger than my local mini-mart's supply of disposables, and that there WAS something out there for me that wouldn't end my night with a couple asprin and a whole world of regret! After using the Kamry K-100 telescope, with reusable cartomizers, a JoyeTech Ego-C, and various others, I've definitely been pleased with living tobacco free, and plan to keep it that way! ~ AH92989

    Gear...just for fun!

That's why I use the nail polish organizer, it has a small lip on the front that keeps the juice bottles in.

  10. I actually found that at a goodwill while on my hunt for a storage set up. I ended up paying $3.99 for it.

Make one out of a starbucks labeled mug. It would be the ultimate stealth vaping device. *Is that coffee steam?*

    Whatcha Vaping?

I know, that's exactly what I said -- and haven't regretted it since. You'll want to let it steep at least a week before the true flavor comes out.

Vaping isn't an all or nothing thing. If you really want a cigarette, do ahead and have one. Many of us did and eventually, we found we just didn't want that cigarette anymore and just stuck with vaping. For me, it was the thought of "you can't have one" that made it so hard to get off analogs. When I gave myself permission to have either one that took the pressure off and I found myself going totally over to vaping in five days. YMMV. Go you! We'll be your cheering section over here.

  16. Hello everyone, haven't been around in forever. Just picked this up today, got back into vaping. I kinda fell out of it because I found always ordering stuff was a pain. Just before Christmas someone opened up the first vape store in my city so I can get all my stuff locally now.
