  1. Spydre, I've been thinking about your burning problem. One factor I haven't seen you mention is the juice vendor itself. I dont follow too closely but my impression is you stick to a few flavors and you also stick to 2 or 3 vendors. Not all juices are created equal. The biggest variable is the flavoring itself which contains who knows what and varies widely between vendors. You might have to look at trying different vendors to find juices that can take more power. I think I've bought and vaped juice from somewhere around 30 - 40 different vendors and they do not all perform the same. Most juices I've tried cannot handle more than 3.7 v or so of power. I use the same tank and the same resistance coils. But there are a handful of juices that I have found that can take more. As much as 4.2 or 4.3. I have noticed that it's fairly consistant with the vendor. Also, I dont vape tobacco flavors and it's possible that the tobacco flavoring could produce an early "burn". I'm just saying it's possible. I have found, for me, the secret to happy vaping is ALL in the juice, not the gear. That's not a fact, of course.

    gotvapes.com SUPER SHADY!

I in no way called you a liar, most here have dealt with got vapes and have had no issues, but €£%# happens and I did state that it might have happened that they gave you the instore model that might have been used, since they are sold out. No I lived in Scottsdale in the 80s, but your welcome to PM me...

  5. I am very new to vaping, and I just ordered my first set of liquids to try out and I've tried a few and I keep getting a harsh throat hit that burns my throat, regardless of voltage. To start with, I'm running with a Kanger Mini ProTank-II as well as an EGO Winder. I've got 2.5 Ohm attys. I bought my setup from a shop in St. Louis and they didn't give all the options of PG/VG, the only option I had were flavor and nicotine level. The initial flavors I had were very smooth and I didn't have any problems. I just ordered a few flavors from MBV, and because I wasn't sure what PG/VG levels to go with, I just went 50/50, because I thought that would be safe. I know what PG and VG are, but I guess I'm not understanding which one will give me the smoothest smoke. Whenever I inhale it makes my throat very scratching and I have to fight against coughing on exhale. I run somewhere between 3.6 and 4.0 volts. I have cleaned my attys and washed and dried all the parts before putting a flavor in, and I think I'm doing everything right. Just wondering if there is something else I can do to make it smoother, or if I should just adjust my PG/VG levels to get a smoother smoke. Thanks in advance for any advice!

  6. Well, talk to the shop. You know what flavors you bought. As for pg/vg ratio, talk to the owner, he would know, but I would guess 50/50 or 60/40. But why would you get a nic level more equivalent to pack and a half a day? I'm admittedly not knowledgeable about hookah, but did you really get the equivalent of a pack and a half per day of analogs by hitting a hookah once a week? And why did you decide you need nicotine every day?

    Surgery tomorrow

Went well. They started the med to make me drowsy way early, so I was practically asleep by the time they wheeled me back there. Slept through most of it, but they had to wake me up to make me move my thumb. So then I just started talking, I have NO CLUE what I said, but it must have been slightly amusing, because my doc told his resident they should start charting what patients say when they have that kind of sedation.

    Smoking kills, & so might...

ECig Regulating. By Dr. Ross http://www.nicotinepolicy.net/gilbert-ross/516-smoking-kills-and-so-might-e-cigarette-regulation "Effectively excluding e-cigarettes from the market via stringent regulation would have the effect of killing smokers and protecting cigarette and pharmaceutical markets. E-cigarettes, a far safer form of nicotine delivery, should not be submitted to tougher regulation than cigarettes. Americans should not have to die from misguided regulation." The entire article is quotable.

  13. Welcome !! data is still out on the actual effects of e cigs. but consensus is that we feel significantly better than we did when we were smoking. you will probably have to do a bit of research to figure out what kind of device you would like to start with.....unfortunately, there are many choices available. you may want to find a vendor a bit closer, the shipping costs and time for delivery will be a bit better. the UK has a vendor I used when I first started vaping. Am not certain which vendors are still around in the area however. if you are interested in ordering from the US we have some great vendors. http://www.vaportalkstore.com/product-p/evod-starter-kit-silver.htm The Vapor talk store is having a great sale. this kit is a great place to start. Not sure how much shipping will be to india however.

  14. Not sure about import restrictions into India but if you can you should just get an Ego battery a Vision Vivi Nova ,some extra coils and several assorted bottles of liquid .Works well for a lot of us.

  16. So screaming here won't do you any good. Did you buy with a credit card? Do you have buyer protection with your credit card? Well then use it...personally I find the whole story far fetched...but will give you the benefit of the doubt as they are currently sold out of that model, but it's also been on sale. The unit itself looks like junk to me, so maybe buy something else anyway....

    Aftertaste

Here's something else you might consider: since you started vaping have you increased your water intake? Vaping tends to have a dehydrating effect, which in turn will also affect your sense of taste. If you haven't started drinking more water, do so and it might help. Don't drink more coffee, tea or soda as the first two are diuretics. Anything with a flavor could also off set the flavor of your e-liquid, which is why water is the favored drink of many vapers.

  18. Just because they don't give you a choice... Must be 100%vg... Why would you assume that? I don't mean to sound rude so please understand. That is not an assumption you should make. I DIY Juice, have been for 4 years it is not something you should assume. A lot of vendors have a VG/PG premix that they make as base and it used in all the fluids they make. If they do not give you a choice it is because they only have one base, most common vendor base juice is a 60pg/40vg. On the other hand, a vendor that would give you a choice of 100% or states that it is 100%vg that would be different.
