Got a new starter kit for the wife in the mail...3 points

I've been using protank 1's for months and the few coils I've blown were ones that I had cleaned and reused repeatedly. In all but one case they blew during the dry burn after cleaning. It's hard to troubleshoot anything remotely. The problem could even be a bad batch of coils that are coincidentally blowing only on that 1 kpt. It is also possible that that your kpt has fallen victim to demonic possession.2 points

ECig Regulating. By Dr. Ross http://www.nicotinepolicy.net/gilbert-ross/516-smoking-kills-and-so-might-e-cigarette-regulation "Effectively excluding e-cigarettes from the market via stringent regulation would have the effect of killing smokers and protecting cigarette and pharmaceutical markets. E-cigarettes, a far safer form of nicotine delivery, should not be submitted to tougher regulation than cigarettes. Americans should not have to die from misguided regulation." The entire article is quotable.1 point

A question for London Vapers

I use the Vapetime website or Liberty Flights website both next day delivery. Finding a store in London is very few and far between. Take a look in Wembley I believe there is one.1 point -

I don't know if you've been keeping up with this thread, I hope so, but I posted some articles in, I think the news section, or maybe health and safety, or both, since you put this up. One is a Forbes article on why the FDA is hiding the benefits of vaping. You'll find it interesting. And yes, how is your research going? Keep us posted!1 point

And Chantix is the most dangerous of them all. Even if it WASN'T contraindicated by my bipolar and my epilepsy, I wouldn't risk taking it.1 point

Well, the thread does say to bump when I bought something new. As a rule I don't drink any kind of sodas anymore, diet or regular, but I found glass bottles of Mountain Dew made with real sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup. GLASS bottles! Bought two cases of 24 and promptly put them into a tub of ice water to chill them real quick. They taste like the Mountain Dew I remember from my childhood. OMG. Soooo good!1 point

It's big tobacco wanting to get their grubby little hands in on the e-cig money, because they are LOSING money from people switching. The thing is, they are more likely to agree to a no internet sales (big tobacco) because most of them, if not all (I don't know what PM plans to make) make cigalikes, which, of course, have no problems getting on gas station shelves. Gas stations aren't going to stock "our kind" of PV's - even just the eGos or Evod batteries, because with that, you have to have juice, you have to let people sample, and you have to have people who can answer questions about it, so it's too labor intensive. The big cigarette outlet here JUST started carrying juice (granted, I haven't been in there since they started, haven't been in there since I picked up the eGo the first time), so I don't know how much they are selling, what kind of sampling they are allowing, but at least they are selling more than just the cigalikes. And I didn't expect them to start carrying this stuff because they are discount cigarettes, beer, and liquor, so it's not like they are a dedicated smoke shop with people standing around just to help you. Unless it's changed, it's just people at the counter checking you out, and they make TONS of money that way. BUT, to get back to my original point, the big tobacco companies (PM is the last American Big Tobacco to get in) would likely agree to more regulation than the rest of the industry - with a lot of the cigalikes, they just market cigarette flavored cartridges (and truly, the cigalikes are what the news media and everything else on TV thinks of as vaping), they'll agree to no TV advertising because they can't advertise cigarettes on TV, either (but remember the Marlboro man?). And they won't stand up to making anti-vaping laws as strict as anti-cigarette laws, IMO, because it's no skin off their backs - their analogs can't be used in those situations, so they are used to it. But the cigalike manufacturers are the ones that have the FDA's ear - which inevitably means big tobacco. And it pisses me off to no end. That's why I'm glad there are organizations like CASAA.1 point

Its funny. I still love my old Kanger T2s. They perform well and deliver a consistantly good flavor, much better than the iclear 16's I started out with and we must have a couple of dozen of them that have seen just about any kind of juice including mints and cinnamons. After daily use for 6months or more they still perform well. No cracking or hazing although I had one where the juice got between the tank and the metal band and it still worked but looked ugly. I dont know, The T2 is a workhorse. It's cheap, easy to use, less problems than the CE's and iclears AND iit holds 2ml of juice while remaining trim and not over balanced on an ego battery.1 point

I most definitely see the argument in it..the prices out on some items are very high. I spend over my budget too often... but hey what I spend on mods and vape gear dosnt match what I spent on my smoking habit...if it keeps me off analogs I can deal with a little over spending1 point -
Bump when you get something in vape mail.
Patricia reacted to Compenstine for a topic
Pay Pal messed up my mailing address and sent a package to my old address. It is also my fault for not updating my home address after my move but, didn't have an issue before. lesson learned. Luckily I know my neighbors well and they are going to get the package and hold it for me till I can get down to pick it up. When talking with them today they are thinking about starting vaping. I think I will take them a thank you gift to get them started down the vape trail for helping me with this package issue.1 point -

Huh? The opposing "experts" certainly!! Which consists of expert Spin Doctors, amateur lab scientists, bought & paid for media, alphabet soup organizations from WHO to TFK to ALA to ACA and more who exist because of smoke tax money, senators/town councils/universities who gather grants from TSET and Big Pharma... Oh yes, BP, such as pfizer (Robert wood foundation aka Johnson & Johnson aka Pfizer) who promotes smoking bans and now vaping bans via grants and propaganda, while pushing Chantix, etc... The FDA says chantix ok, but eCigs bad. Say what??? CDC lies about study results, to help ban attempts. Say what? Please note: the fight used to be against a SMOKING. mysteriously it turned to tobacco. Next it turned to NICOTINE. Next it turned to Safer Alternatives. CHANTIX ADVERTISES "fighting NICOTINE without NICOTINE". They provide propaganda for insurance companies, towns, states, universities to ban NICOTINE, not smoking. Chantix has a reported over 500 deaths, over 2000 attempted (reported), etc, and the FDA/CDC/ blab labels backs them. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr1 point
