Obsess much?
Lyrical and 3 others reacted to Joshuab3687 for a topic
So, I'm not even two weeks into vaping and I'm reading most, if not all, the posts here and info I can! My first purchase 2 weeks ago was a VaporKing Storm 2.0 Clearomizer kit. Not super satisfied with it. So, I have purchased about 40 different juices from various vendors. And then I bought 3 different 510 batts and 4 different tanks/clearos. Now I get the reference to "vapemail". I won't get home from the road till friday so, the mailman is safe! Lol! Not sure if I'm obsessed or posessed!4 points -
Just before Christmas, there was an honest politician, a kind lawyer and Santa Claus travelling in a lift of a very posh hotel. Just before the doors opened they all noticed a $5 note lying on the floor. Which one picked it up?? Santa of course, the other two don't exist!2 points

Helpful Chart For Pairing Atomizer Resistance To Battery Volts
SmokeFree Angel reacted to twelveday for a topic
I found this image while i was surfing the net trying to find good pairings with my 3.7v and 5v ecigs. Hopefully it can help someone else as well1 point -
I have been a smoker for over 15 years. I am proud to say that I am going on my 3rd day with no cigarette! I was very skeptical that this would work but now I am convinced. I tried the disposable cigs but it did not give me the satisfaction I needed and they did not last long enough. So on a whim, I purchased a Kranger t5. I am absolutely amazed. I just threw a half a pack of cigs in the garbage this morning. I will never buy another pack.1 point

Hello, I recently joined the forum and am pleased to be a member. My story is similar to most with a few exceptions. I smoked cigarettes and cigars for 60 years. Hard to believe that in that amount of time (inhaling the cigars also), I am still alive and in excellent health. Oddly enough, in a recent complete medical, my doctor advised I have a complete pulmonary workup because of my many years of smoking. It showed I had relatively little lung damage in spite of those years of smoking. I am very lucky. Over the years, I literally tried every conceivable method of quitting tobacco; lozenges, patches, nicotine inhalers (which interestingly enough, my Nicotrol Inhaler contained PG) support groups, and you name it. I was never able to successfully stop smoking. A few months ago, I purchased an e-cigarette while I was enjoying one of my favorite cigars. After trying the e-cig, I sat down my half finished cigar and have not touched tobacco since. Literally quit analogs in 3 minutes. After that I upgraded to better equipment including mods, and in addition to the enjoyment of vaping, now consider it a hobby. Within a week of switching to vaping, my smokers cough of many years disappeared, my sense of taste and smell returned, and I enjoyed a heightened sense of physical well-being. I love being a non-smoker and promote vaping to everyone who will listen. Pleased to be a member, and hope to be an asset to the group.1 point

Convert Cartomizers & 510 T atty's for dripping
HelloMiakoda reacted to donmac for a topic
An fun thing I have found, is converting a used cartomizer or 510 T to use with a drip tip. This works well with a cartomizer or 510 atty that doesn't work well any longer. When you have some that have been cleaned multiple times and just don't work well anymore, try this. For some reason even when they no longer work normally, they seem to work relatively well for dripping. For the Joyetech 510 T attty, simply remove the tank and add a drip tip. If you take some nail polish remover, or 400 grit sandpaper, you can remove the exterior black paint flash coating in a matter of minutes, exposing a beautiful stainless steel finish. Six drops of liquid provides around 20 good size puffs. You'll be surprised at the amount of vapor this almost worn out atty provides. With a cartomizer, Eversmoke, Blu or similar, carefully remove the cotton batting inside the cartridge with tweezers or a paperclip bent with a slight hook at the end, and add a drip tip. Peel off the exterior filter plastic covering, and remove the glue that was holding the cartridge covering on with whatever works, (alcohol, baby oil, glue-be-gone). Under that plastic covering is a beautiful stainless steel tube. Attach your drip tip and it works just fine. With the Eversmoke and similar, screw the cartomizer down relatively snug onto the battery to prevent leakage. If you put more than 6 drops in, you'll get some leakage at the seam where the battery attaches. The Blu has a narrower barrel and a standard drip tip won't work. If you can't find one to fit, you can use the factory black tip or just leave it off altogether and go native. The cotton batting is also packed more tightly than others and is a little more difficult to remove. Once you get it started with the paperclip, a small needle nosed plier works fine to pull the balance of it out in one piece. The Blu atty doesn't seem to produce as much vapor as some of the others. The other neat thing about this setup, is that with a small battery, it fits neatly inside you hand and is easy to conceal, when needed. Have fun.1 point -

You'll get a couple answers on that one...I prefer to drain down, and then recharge, batteries are cheap, I keep several in rotation ....make sure you "rest" the batteries for at least an hour after charging before reuse...1 point -

In school, parochial students are taught that lying is a sin. However, instructors also advised that using a bit of imagination was OK to express the truth differently without lying. Below is a perfect example of those teachings: Getting a Hairdryer Through Customs. An attractive young woman on a flight from Ireland asked the Priest beside her, 'Father, may I ask a favor?' 'Of course child. What may I do for you?' 'Well, I bought my mother an expensive hair dryer for her birthday. It is unopened but well over the Customs limits and I'm afraid they'll confiscate it. Is there any way you could carry it through customs for me? Hide it under your robes perhaps?' 'I would love to help you, dear, but I must warn you, I will not lie.' 'With your honest face, Father, no one will question you.' When they got to Customs, she let the priest go first. The official asked, 'Father, do you have anything to declare?' 'From the top of my head down to my waist I have nothing to declare.' The official thought this answer strange, so asked, 'And what do you have to declare from your waist to the floor?' 'I have a marvelous instrument designed to be used on a woman, but which is, to date, unused.' Roaring with laughter, the official said, 'Go ahead, Father. Next please!'1 point

I'm in the same boat, my hands and eyes won't allow me to do coils that tiny, but if your brushing the wicks your gonne loosen em. Sme take the post off and clean, then replace the flavwicks and leave the coil wicks alone, popping the post no problem...I appreciate the ones that doo all that work but I only have one question.. How much do you make an hour?..... Find genuine kangers online at a great price with a discount code and free shipping, even if you have to spend 50.. Your going to anyway RIGHT?!! Maybe soak in ISO and rinse and dry, but I'm figuring I coudnt rebuild em, including what I charge per hour, to make it cost effective...of course, your free time is up to you to use as you see fit, but for now someone else can do it for me....lol. Actually I can......Moms from farms east of Denver, Dad from Algiers (directly across the river from the French Quarter) they split when I was four, and I spent equal time in both places..I thought that sucked but looking back not so much..After living in New Mexico, Arizona, and both ends of California ( SD and SF) during my corporate days.. I settled back in NOLA for a few years. Lots of family there, bought a house in my Dads old hood, Then on a trip back to Denver for a cousins wedding, I met my better half, and then Mom got old and needs help, so moved back to Colorado, now that Mom and most family here are all gone, would really move back in a heartbeat. It's wher I belong....but Karen has the asthma, and hates big bugs, we went a few trips and she hated it..I go home at least twice a year if I can afford it, both cash and work..I am more myself there than anywhere, its hard not living where you want, but i love my girl...SO I have rooted for both teams for more than fifty years. .kinda depends on who's winning, usually neither damn Donkeys and AINTS..but they are both my home teams..and I have the tattoos to prove it!!1 point

Sort of, Spyder but not really. A Drip well is more commonly referred to as a collection area at the base of a coil in a dripping atomizer. It collects juice to feed the coil. Technically, in a bottom coil device where the coil screws in to the base there is a little collection area right at the short ends of the wick. This could be considered a "drip well" but it is constantly submerged in a tank device like a T3 or a pro tank. Bottom line if you're getting gurgling then : 1) juice is getting past your coil in to the airway (bad coil or wick) 2) condensation is filling the airway 3) coil is loose letting juice thru to top of battery and then up airway 4) sloppy filling techniques allowing juice in to airway Hope that helps1 point

The pastor asked if anyone in the congregation would like to express praise for answered prayers. Suzie stood and walked to the podium. She said, "I have praise. Two months ago, my husband, Phil, had a terrible bicycle wreck and his scrotum was completely crushed. The pain was excruciating and the doctors didn't know if they could help him." You could hear a muffled gasp from the men in the congregation as they imagine the pain that poor Phil must have experienced. "Phil was unable to hold me or the children," she went on, "and every move caused him terrible pain."We prayed as the doctors performed a delicate operation, and it turned out they were able to piece together the crushed remnants of Phil's scrotum, and wrap wire around it to hold it in place." Again, the men in the congregation cringed and squirmed uncomfortably as they imagined the horrible surgery performed on Phil. "Now," she announced in a quivering voice, "thank the Lord, Phil is out of the hospital and the doctors say that with time, his scrotum should recover completely." All the men sighed with unified relief. The pastor rose and tentatively asked if anyone else had something to say. A man stood up and walked slowly to the podium. He said, "I'm Phil." The entire congregation held its breath. "I just want to tell my wife, the word is sternum."1 point

Any Athletes out there?

Former Athlete turned "old fat guy"now lol. I can tell you though, as a scout leader that is an avid outdoorsman-hiker-camper-boater etc.. the last almost 8 months have made a drastic difference in my cardiovascular stamina. I have done the same hikes now 3 years in a row and BY FAR this year was the most enjoyable. There is no doubt my lungs, heart, and overall health is exponentially better since switching from analogs to vaping.1 point -
Joke of the Day :)
spydre reacted to ThatCarGuyDFW for a topic
An atheist goes for a walk in the woods, admiring what nature has created. Suddenly a bear comes out of nowhere and is about to attack him. With the bear towering over him the atheist cries out "Oh God help me!" Time freezes. Suddenly a light shines from the sky and a booming voice responds. "You have denied my existence all of your life. The moment when you face death you cry out for my help." The atheist, in tears at this point, says "I know, is there anything you can do?" God replies "It is too late for you." The atheist thinks and replies "Can you at least make this bear a Christian before I die?" The light suddenly fades and time returns to normal. The bear pauses before attacking the man, puts it's paws together and says "Thank you God for this meal I am about to receive."1 point -

HH.357...Who Here Has Used One?
Nico5point0 reacted to Tam for a topic
Okay, it finally got here today. Mine is the HH.357 Cisco Spec Hybrid, 2.0 ohm, matte black, standard sized atomizer. I read the directions, blew out the primer, dabbed a little inside (very gently) to get the rest of it out, added 5 drops of juice and took an unpowered draw. Gurgled a little like it's supposed to, added a couple more drops and vaped. No flavor. But I expected this because of the lingering primer. Kept vaping in short-ish draws, added more juice, vaped some more, added more juice, vaped some more, all the while waiting in eager anticipation for the flavor to come though and blow me away. It didn't. I kept at it as I'd read that it takes some time for the break in period to finally come through. Gotta admit that I vaped myself silly and killed a battery doing it. Changed to a fully, freshly charged battery and kept trying. I finally had to put it down as I got too much nicotine in my system. After dinner I tried it again for about 20 minutes and BAM! I got a clue. Turn up the voltage, dummy. I'd set my battery at 3.8 volts as I didn't want to risk blowing the coil right off the bat. Turned up the voltage to 4.0 and...a little something. Turned it up some more to 4.3 and...WOW. Full freakin' flavor! For several months I've been stuck on EC Blend's Feels like a Nut (tastes just like an Almond Joy candy bar), and it had gotten to the point where the flavor was pretty muted even with direct dripping. With the HH.357 it's like the first time I tasted this juice. I am beyond impressed. I'm taking shorter draws than I usually do because the flavor coming through is so intense. And holy clouds of vapor, Batman! The draw is very light, almost like a Kangor Pro Tank but just a touch tighter. And did I mention the FLAVOR??? Avid Vaper just got an order for two more of these from me. Thanks, Rixter, for another most excellent recommendation. I can't believe I waited this long...1 point
