    okay, I Give! I Give!

I have never been one to argue steeping was bs. To each his own. Many of you swear by it so I never refute it. I personally have never had a juice improve with age.... But.... 2 months ago I bought 30mls of a cappuccino which I tried in a local B&M and loved. Took it home, cracked it open and it was next to the worst thing I have ever tasted! Vile! Perfume! Doo doo! I almost threw it away.... But I didn't, uncapped it (I have faith in you) and let it sit for a few weeks, spotted it on my shelf, capped it and put it away and pretty much forgot about it. Yesterday I was cleaning out my vape box, found the cappuccino and decided to give it a try...2 months after I bought it. It was awesome! WTF?! No, really, it tastes great. I will never scoff and scowl behind your backs again. I can't believe it! I'm converted!

  8. I agree that if a B&M store has trial units and offers samples then it's not necessarily rude to go there and proceed to not buy anything. I don't think that it should happen all the time though, maybe some weeks you're only going in to try new flavors or check out a new apv, but at some point you should also try to make some significant purchases from them. Online sites will almost always have better prices, and it's great to save money on certain purchases, but we also need to support our local economy and buying local at B&M stores is one way we can do that

  9. So, this person also goes into a car dealership and buys one without test driving it first because it would be rude? I don't think so. An APV is a personal thing that you need to make sure it will work for you and that it's at a price you want. Just my opinion.

  11. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3850892/#!po=70.6897 The entire article is quotable. For instance "The dream of a tobacco-free, nicotine-free world is just thata dream. Nicotines beneficial effects include correcting problems with concentration, attention and memory, as well as improving symptoms of mood impairments. Keeping such disabilities at bay right now can be much stronger motivation to continue using nicotine than any threats of diseases that may strike years and years in the future." Plus it covers all the science stuff... Dr. Polosa ROCKS!

  12. That's where buying over time and having a rotation comes in. If you have a rotation routine going you can have some steeping while your vaping what has been steeped. When a bottle is steeped and ready to vape is when you order a new bottle so your having it steep while your enjoying the one that is ready to go.

I've been kind of upset about the latest news coverage on e-cigarettes. They've been getting a lot of spotlight in the news, and even if in a positive light on most of the news rooms, there is a lot of misguided information and uncertainty. CNN did a cover story, advertising it ALL day long on the radio and on the commercials, asking the question "Are E-cigarettes really safer than a real cigarette?" kind of misleading questions. I know it's how they get views, but even during the segment they're like, "Well, we don't really know the harmful effects of the e-cigarettes, but it's been improving some people's lives... so... yea!" >.< I just wish the news actually covered them correctly instead of developing this sense of... mystery about them and this skeptical approach to the users.

  14. My brother took advantage of the arctic weather we just got hit with. He built an ice rink on his property. He is a hockey player. Hopefully it will stay frozen for awhile. Knowing Colorado, it will probably be in the 70's next week. lol Looks like I might some ice time in during the holiday! This was his first attempt ever building a rink.

    okay, I Give! I Give!

I gave away alot of juice back in the day that I'm sure I would have liked if I had let it steep. Ended up with alot of other flavors I like anyways. On the flip side of that though I do have some that I like better when they are fresh. Guess if you like it, vape it. If not put it away and revisit later.

    Diluting Mg level?

Blend away Barbie! I enjoy blending juices, finding my perfect mix, just do it in small amounts, sometimes it doesn't work out so well. I ad a brandy flavor to a lot of things, menthol or peppermint in small amounts can wake up a dull flavor. Mint choco chip and bannana is fab!

    Gurgeling t3s why? Help!

Sort of, Spyder but not really. A Drip well is more commonly referred to as a collection area at the base of a coil in a dripping atomizer. It collects juice to feed the coil. Technically, in a bottom coil device where the coil screws in to the base there is a little collection area right at the short ends of the wick. This could be considered a "drip well" but it is constantly submerged in a tank device like a T3 or a pro tank. Bottom line if you're getting gurgling then : 1) juice is getting past your coil in to the airway (bad coil or wick) 2) condensation is filling the airway 3) coil is loose letting juice thru to top of battery and then up airway 4) sloppy filling techniques allowing juice in to airway Hope that helps

  25. You have no idea how much I would just love to sit around and do nothing, and sometimes I just feel so tired, but that Marine Corps in me from nearly 25 years ago won't allow me to relax too much. But at least now after years of training and older age, I've learned to listen to my body a bit more and take time off to let the aging body....well just age a little.

    Diluting Mg level?

Don't guess at Nic levels when mixing!!!!!! You can go to a drug store or Wally world and get some USP Glycerin and cut with that but it will cut the flavor. You need to let it steep for around 5 days for that flavor not to taste so muted. But, that will cut the flavor in half to get to 12mg and not be worth the trouble. Is your 6 meg the same flavor or just a tobacco flavor? 2 parts 6mg to 1 part 24mg will give you 12mg 1 part 24mg to 1 part 6mg (50/50) will give you 15mg.

Keep it filled over half way, had this issue with KT2 and KT3 simple solution buy a Mini Davide.

  28. Not steeping is like getting Heinz ketchup and just squeezing the bottle without shaking it first. You'll get all that ketchup juice that collected on top without shaking instead of thick ketchup. Steeping and shaking daily allows the flavors to mix and settle properly. Juices not steeped and thrown right into a dripper are only getting partial flavor and mixtures.

  31. Maybe I'm a FREAKIN GENIUS or something... My first exposure to a vape, I noticed it didn't smell like smoke, it didn't stay in the air like smoke, and she didn't light it. "Is it burning tobacco in there?" "Nope, it's vapor" "Ah, cool." I also can't grasp how sucking on what looks like a giant pink pen "looks like smoking". If people want to make assumptions like that, ban root beer for anyone under 21. It looks like drinking booze when it comes in glass! Ban chewing gum, it looks like dipping! Maybe I just pay attention more to what I see instead of just ignoring absolutely anything beyond a first glimpse in my parifreal (sp?) vision. Of course, I'm talking about the same general population that contains the geniuses that nearly let me pass out from a blood sugar crash because it looked like I was drunk, despite having not left their sight in 6 hours. The government looks like greed and corruption... Oh, wait.

    New to Vaping Mechs

I would stray away from the sub-ohm builds until you are more familiar with mechanicals and coil building. Remember, the lower the gauge (thicker the wire), the lower the resistance (ohms). I am familiar with coil builds and mechanicals now, but still don't like to venture into sub-ohm territory for my go-to daily vaping builds. I do love to experiment with different coils, and love building the next craze, but I'm not looking to chase clouds all the time. Try to find that sweet spot, great flavor and good vapor production. Play it safe.

  33. Don't buy batteries from Fast Tech, It will delay your order and may get sent back to Fast Tech. I find the coils you mention to be sub par. If your having trouble with building coils just buy the KPT replacement heads they are cheap. They are much better than wick and wire ones you mentioned. I get those with the rebuildables I have and they are just junk. There are some of us that just have to do it for the sake of the experience. Most people yes should just grab and vape. I grew up wanting to see how something works, recreate it, rebuild it. For me it is more than just a hobby it is relaxing and satisfying. Without DIY we wouldn't be Vaping at all. It is getting in a creating something that didn't exist before or making it better. Most Juice makers started by doing DIY. Don't sell the DIYers short. And yes I was one that looked into growing my own tobacco, I just found that it wasn't my cup-o-tea and bought Camels. People just need to know their limits and stop when they get in over their head.
