  1. I hate plastic syringes. I was doing up some flavors last night and the markings wore off my last syringe. I have been meaning to get some glass graduated cyilinders but always froget to add them to an order or they are out of stock. Well last night was a bust after just 3 mixes. E-fluid is a good paint remover when it comes to syringes. Today while I was out I went on search for some in local stores. Not a 1 to be had anywhere in the town I was in. Mind you I live in the sticks and the closest town is 30 miles away. Hobby Lobby is 100 miles. I know they have them. Needless to say I ordered some today and have to wait a week for them to arrive. I was hoping to atleast find a hobby store or a place that sells wine making stuff and get 1 to get me by till the new ones arrive in the mail. The last place I stopped was a medical supply store, not hoping forr much I went in and asked if they had any. I told them what I needed them for and mentioned the proble I had with the plastic syringes. The guy behind the counter said "hummm come with me..." He walked me back into the store room and asked if these would get me by... He handed 4, 5ml syringes and 1 60ml syringe. He then said here yeah go, no charge! I thanked the man with a hand shake and a smile and said that will get me by till I can order what I need. Lesson learned: There are still good people out there and if you are going to DIY fluid, don't go long without ordering glass graduates!

  2. I found an idea online to use a stainless steel cable as a wick. It rocks the vapor like nothing I have ever experienced before. The flavor that comes from it is better than cotton or a mesh wick. I have it setup in my RSST with a 1/8 inch diameter cable with a 1.8 ohm micro coil that is 5/64 inner diameter and just a little bit of cotton on the top under the coil as an insulator. I cut it with cable cutters to get a nice clean edge and torched the hell out of it. I wanted to make sure they did not send me something with zinc coating on it. I have found thru trial and error that I no longer have to tip the tank to re-wet the wick at all. If I do that I am getting gurgling and it leaks from the air hole. I have to keep it below a 4 o'clock position or it will leak. This by far is the most flavorful vape I have ever had. I am only pushing it with 3.6v thru my evic and it is amazing. I thought I would share this with everyone out there and see what others think.

  4. Does finding something you thought you lost count? You know that KPT mini 2 that I thought I lost? I found it in the depths of (hell) my purse today. I didn't think to look in my purse on that day that I misplaced it, because everything was either in my jacket, or in my bag.

  6. Got my Genuine Kangar coils for my Evod in the mail from Proteus. OMG these are so much better than the knock off coils I've been using the past few weeks.

  12. So far, they only have a SS replacement tank for the KPT2 Replacement Tank for Kanger Pro tank 2 and for the KPT2 Mini Replacement tank for the Kanger tech Pro Tank 2 mini I'm sure someone will eventually make something for the UniTank. Only time will tell.

  13. Not sure if you are aware. But if you wrap your new syringe with clear box or packing tape then the markings don't fade away.

  14. Seriously unless online sales are banned I imagine these stores popping up to cash in on the "Vape Rush" will start to fade away unless the FDA somehow bans or severely restricts online sales (which most of them are fighting for). It's just the world we live in. Like book stores in a way. Maybe I am too anti B&M but when they are largely in support of bans that would force me to shop in their ****ty overpriced store; I take it kind of personal.

    Working hard this morning!

Well, to his credit he doesn't pretend he knows it all. It's just when I'm trying to talk him through something or trying to figure out what the problem is -- he never uses the correct names of things. He still doesn't know the difference between an operating system from a software program, he thinks he uses Mozzarella Firefox but insists he hasn't gotten a browser on his program! (translation: He uses Mozilla Firefox and insists he hasn't gotten any malware on his hard drive.) I finally just bought him a laptop a couple of years ago so that he could take it with him between Colorado and Arizona (they're snowbirds). This way there aren't two desktops in two different places and it's easier for me to work on just the one laptop. Usually, I just wind up wiping everything and doing a clean install of the OS rather than to back track trying to figure out what he's done this time. Lol.

Welcome Aboard! I can't say about Denver, but there are several people on here from that area, and I am sure Troy will chime in!

  19. We're trying to put together a complete list of the most accurate, reputable and unbiased e-cigarette studies for our website. You can view our current list here: http://www.cigbuyer.com/studies/ Can anyone point us to any additional studies, research or reports that should be included in this list? We're trying to avoid biased research sponsored by e-cig companies or suppliers - hopefully we've done that so far. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

  20. Dr. Farsalinos has more than one study. Dr. Michael Siegel, Dr. Farsalinos, and others have Debunked most of the negative studies. You need those too. ( France study found environmental traces, not ecig traces. That study was not done in pristine lab conditions. Interesting to note though, is the real pristine lab studies actually prove that eCigs are safer than some environmental air, but of course, because it wasn't a test for that it has to be dismissed) There are other studies missing too, such as nicotine, outside of a conventional cigarette is not highly addictive, in fact, it's about the same as caffeine. Let me take some time to gather the links I've been wanting an organized list like this, thank you!, Cool, I see the debunked in other places on the site. Good deal.

  21. For the past few days I've been doing an experiment on myself. NO NIC!!!! (insert impending doom theme music here while everybody gasps in surprise and terror) Now, since I started trying my hand at DIY a couple months ago I got in the habit of making 0mg juice to try new recipes so I do not waste precious nicotine. However, the juices I've liked, I've vaped so as not to waste precious clouds. All of a sudden, I found myself inadvertently going stretches of 6 hours or more without nic...and not missing it at all! So, I decided to go without nic for a day...then one day turned into almost a week. At this point, I am treating nic like I would caffeine. A short vaping session here and there as a pick-me-up, but nothing more as I really do not need it. This got me thinking. Is the nicotine addiction merely a leftover thought-program from being convinced by the Surgeon General throughout all these years of smoking that it (nicotine) is a "powerfully addictive substance," rather than the 4000 OTHER chemicals intentionally put into cigarettes? If not, then why are patches, gums, lozenges, and inhalers not more effective? But if it is, then why is it that vapers refuse to let go of the nic (and thereby subject themselves to FDA regulation)? Or at least dose it down, and use responsibly? All rhetoric aside, I am interested in hearing YOUR thoughts on the matter. Please discuss!!

  22. I may or may not be addicted to nicotine. Can't say for sure. I'm definitely addicted to the action of smoking. Which may have something to do with how easily I was able to drop the analogs when I found vaping. I definitely have an unpleasant reaction to too little nic. I inadvertently dropped my nic levels too fast - 24mg to 6mg and I got moody, lol. But I don't think that negates any addiction to other substances as well. I think, as with ANY addiction, there are psychological/spiritual elements playing in tandem with chemical physiological addiction. Vaping surely removes many of the physical aspects of addiction. It's, hands down, superior to smoking in regard to physical addiction.
