Just got the Mountain Oak Vapors Full Virginia Flake RY4. It's pretty tasty, but the carmel and vanilla flavors are way too dominant with just a hint of tobacco in the background, which is the opposite of what I'm looking for. I'd like a more balanced RY4 with more focus on tobacco and just a hint of carmel/vanilla. Any suggestions?

I wouldn't be embarrassed about that, most of us probably have a large amount of liquid stashed like that. My supply at moment only consist the flavors I'm currently vaping but only due to the fact I payed a boat load of it forward instead if letting it go to waste.

I need to try a RY4! And think an EC Blend sample pack next too. I'd be embarrassed to show how many bottles of juice I have. And carts filled with unused samplings. Enjoying the ride big time. Cigarettes were never this fun lol. Tam, I do remember vividly. The rich dark greens of pines to contrast the Aspens white bark and way way yellow leaves!! I on occasion go through stages where nothing seems to want to work right or taste right. A few things I have learned is change flavors through out the day, when using a KPT or evod tank with a new coil I blow out for the duration of the 10 sec safety shut off, this burns off that new coil burnt taste. Sometimes I have to do it twice. Always rinse out the tank when switching flavors unless you are intentionally mixing flavors. Use a VV device and play with the voltage a little starting from super low and bump it up till you get a good burn with out burning the coil out. I know most if not all of this has been mentioned already I'm sure, but that's what I do. I also finally got into direct dripping, and that is my fail safe, it always tastes awesome!

I migrated around the various vendors buying sample packs, liking some juice from each vendor. I'm at a spot now where I'm only trying new flavors and vendors every once in a while as I have 5 or 6 juices that I love. Who knows what I'll be vaping next year, but I know what I will be vaping for the next month or so.

My v4 zmax has a cutoff, but it's a big lung full if vapor to hit it. Big yummy clouds! I'm in a happy vapor place.

It's a Sigelei Zmax wrapped with a mahogany wrap from Vapor Skinz. They have a pretty good selection of Zmax wraps, As far as the button issue goes, sometimes it doesn't fire when I press the button, or starts going through the menu. When it happens, I just rapidly press the button (like I'm scrolling through the menu) about 10 or 15 times, wait until the menu goes away, and everything is fine. I just figured the switch had gotten a little e-juice residue (from my fingers) on it, but I don't know how to take it apart (okay...I'm afraid to take it apart.) to clean it.

Well I did away with one coil and it's reading 1.1 ohms.. guys this thing makes rediculous clouds now..

Looks like your coils are way to tight, loosen the wraps with a Xato knife. The top coil in that pic looks smaller that the other and to be touching the base. You should also trim your leeds before testing, helps prevent possable shorts.

I'd probably say the clone so he can take it to work as a beater and the Original, well cause we all like nice things!

You can buy your own "friend tips" from EC Blend. They sell them for a quarter each. I keep a bunch of them with me all the time just for that purpose.

Because I know it's coming, ordered a 5 pack of KPT 2 replacement glass, two 5 packs of 1.8 ohm KPT coils and the same of 2.2 ohm T3S coils. Congrats Matt!

For me, I don't think there is much of a pattern. Well, a couple of "tobacco" flavors - 618 which is a local blend, "honey wood", which doesn't really taste much like tobacco, french vanilla tobacco (I tasted that before I fiund their regular french vanilla), holy grail ry4, kick ash tobacco blend - but the last two I didn't actually find until my seizures caused some flavor issues. I used to vape milk chocolate flavor, but I have not been able to taste chocolate in vape (I can still taste it in food). I have banana chocolate, but I vape that now for the banana - it tastes more "banana-y" than my banana cream. I also vape irish cream, and sometimes hazelnut, papa smurf, I'm growing very fond of apple fritter. Um, no bake cake amd mint chip ice cream, but they taste different to me now, and probably differently than most people would taste them. I have a couple of flavors that I liked in the shop, and for a few hours at a time, at most, for a few days, then didn't like them anymore.

You should keep in mind that you are still smoking cigarettes. They kill you sense of smell and taste. If you can just let go of the cigs and work through your flavor issues, it will all work out. Food will even start tasting and smelling better.

It's new to you so asking questions is always a good thing. Even if it's just to verify what you're doing is okay. Even those who have been vaping for awhile ask questions now and then.

Well, I went to coffee flavors after I weened myself off tobacco flavors and they remain my favorite 6 months later. I've definitely enjoyed other flavors and I have some favorite fruits and bakery but coffees are my all day vapes and I dont see any major changes coming. I'm happy where I am. Dont see anything unusual about that at all.

My problem of late is that all category's taste good to me/ ,not finding/ many that I am finding unvapeable. I do have my favorites which tend to be fruity and sweet but no extra sweetener or flavor shots for me please. I am trying to stave off purchasing anymore juice until I put a dent in all that I have on hand. It is hard to not order more because so many that I want to try while taste-buds are zinging. I know this could switch on me any minute but I am hoping it does not. Loving the vapes. Like Tam said just enjoy the ride, experiment and dabble dabble. Have you learned how to wrap your coils and replace the wick DiY is cheap enough and really not that hard to do. Lots of how to youtube videos for step by step instructions as well as on the VT forum

I have an assortment of mods but I only use my ego at work and when Im out and about. Like BirdDog said I like to be able to just fill and vape with no fuss. I have simplified my vaping life. I found what works for me and Im sticking with it. I still try new juice delivery systems now and then.

I was in to the whole mod thing. It just got to be too much and a bit cumbersome to pack up and tote around. Marking batteries so they don't get mixed up, chargers plugged in everywhere, trouble shooting the list could go on. I just want to screw on the tank/carto and go. I admit that after 4 years of vaping, it was a relief to go back to the simple gear.

I e-mailed Eric about the broken o-ring on one of my Davide Minis and if he would have replacements and he said he would send me a couple, he didnt have enough to list on the site. When my drip tip package came it had 4 of the small o-rings AND 4 of the gaskets that fit between the glass and the top cap that fall out every time you clean one. Definitely top notch service.

All indications point to juice. If you can find a juice that satisfies your demanding palate then you are home free Although, i cant imagine why you are stuck on ce 4 and ce5's. Thats baffling to me. You are a candidate for dripping in my opinion (puurest form of delivery) or a mod with a dripping chamber.. otherwise bag the ce4's and 5's and at least step up to a T2 or T3s But your main issue to solve first is eliquid. Until you get that you're dead in the water according to your own testimony.

Maybe vaping isn't for you. It's possible you just have an aversion to it. I wish I could be helpful to you but your post is boggling. I dont know anyone who has experienced the complexity you seem to be going thru over this. Sure, the rare bad coil or defective tank pops up but nothing lke you're experiencing. I would start with known quality gear and then take it to a shop where someone knowledgeable can help you. This gear is not that complex.

I had the same experience with the CE clearos. I highly recommend you try out a EVOD on your Spinner. I use it all day at work and never get a burnt taste. I usually use a 70/30 mix in my EVOD. My collection as of now. eVic VV/VW w/ KPT2, Kamry X6 VV, K100 w/ RSST, a box full of juice, iClear30 (got rid of 3 the other day), X10, Cobra clone RBA, and an IGO-W. Not as big as some of these guys collections, but there is time and space to acquire more in the future.
