  3. Tam: i was going to start a new thread where we can give reviews on Medics juices but with 2 lil ones underfoot I haven't had a chance..Sooo if you want to go ahead and start just let me know where it is and we'll start the show!! these juices really do deserve a place on the forum all their own. I cannot put the raspberry poundcake down! Like a baby with a pacifier over here! Lol.

  4. What Tam said. I tried a juice the other day that was actually really good until the second draw. Coughing and gasping for air ensued. Looked down and realized the battery was turned up to 4.8! It had turned that subtle hint of menthol in the mix to be a throat killer. A little water, turning the battery down and it was really good again. It was a 50/50 mix.

  7. Okay, so I finally took the plunge. Went to my local B&M and got a stainless steel Evic starter kit, the matte black replacement body, two 18650 B 3400 mAh batteries, the Nitecore Intellicharger i4 battery charger and a 5-pack of 1.8 ohm KPT coils as a late birthday present to myself. When I got home I found my package of juices from Medic. Yay! All in all, it's a very good Friday. Now, I just gotta go through this novel that they call a "users' manual" to figure out how to work this Evic. Can't wait until my batteries get a full charge to give it a go.

  8. If your looking into variable voltage and variable wattage the Sigelei Zmax is pretty awesome and will not break the bank. I dont have the Innokin MVP V2 but from what I read its a solid unit that can do everything that the Zmax can. If your possibly looking to get into mechanical mods, possibly with a "Kick" (small device that fits into some mechanical mods that makes it into a variable wattage device) and want to toy with eventually rebuilding attomizers, then you might turn towards a clone of some type if you dont want to break the bank. Many clone mods are in the $30-$75 range. Mechanical mod clones that come to mind is the EHPro Electrical Angel mod (great review and one that I use daily), or the new Nemesis clone (I just ordered from Fastech), or the KTS telescopic storm, or even possibly something like the Silver Bullet which is a very solid and time proven mod that takes a kick. Please do keep in mind that there are a couple accessories that you would need if you go this route (batteries and a charger). Good luck. I'm sure you will find something that suits your needs. Never feel shy to ask questions because everyone here does an awesome job at helping. Take that from someone that still a newb and learning every day. edit: If you do get into a mechanical mod please read up on how to use them properly.

    New to the forum

I actually made an account specifically to post that a site had the ohm meters available (for now) since this was the only site in a week that had a link where they weren't out of stock. But I've been vaping for about six months or so, used to be a two pack a day smoker, and now... I'm not a smoker. I've lurked about here when I needed information every so often, so I thought I'd be useful instead of lurking.

    Night(smoke)mare

Hey there Smokemare!! Welcome to the boards. I am brand spanking new here as well. I am just starting to quit and just getting into using a e-cig vaporizer. Congrats on quitting, and congrats on your first born son (I take it this is your first child boy or girl? LOL). How long did it take you to quit analogs after taking up vaping?? What equipment are you using?? Any challenges you have come across yet?? Whats your favorite flavor of juice?? I have been a smoker for like 18 years. I have had limited success quiting (nicotine patch) in the past, but always picked it back up in social situations. I feel that vaping will give me the tools to stay quit this time. Sounds like it has worked well for you already. Congrats man!!! Keep it up.
