  1. Also another thing to watch out for is don't over buy right off the bat. Myself I have had so many flavor switches its ridiculous. I started with tobacco flavors, then it was desserts, then it was mints, now I'm on fruits. So just be ware your taste buds will change very frequently.

    Online vape meet?

Tell you what, the forum has gotten busier since the chat days. I'll get a text chat room going... If that does well and stays active then perhaps I'll look into bringing in the video modules I'll try and get the chat room up and running by this evening. (I've got a little free time before heading to Los Angeles tomorrow)

    Wish me luck...please

I just had a job interview with a very large company and I think I did well.. Well you ever have that feeling when you go to an interview and when you come out you feel like < YES SCORE/> and then you say to yourself......Well wait a minute I should have said this? That what I am doing now.... It would be an extra $9k a year... I have a weird brain and I am hoping that since I got this job I have now when I just started vaping and now I just started upgrading with VV/VW device that somehow the cosmos or something is hinting that I w will get this job too... Wishful thinking...

  6. If im correct in assuming, isn't twisting the Kanthal supposed to increase the gauge, and therefore decrease the overall resistance of the coil? Is the bigger surface are of the wire supposed to increase vapor output? I don't know... After two attempts at it, I have to say that I'm not impressed. My first attempt saw my pitiful attempt at hand-twisting. It certainly lowered the resistance (0.5 ohms), but never properly made contact with the wick. Resulting in some of the worst dry-hits I've ever experienced. So, I pulled a Tim Allen and rewired it!!! This time I used a drill...playing with power tools is always awesome, right? Same wrap, better twist... ....but it actually RAISED the resistance!!! 0.8 ohms (from 0.6), and very little vapor output. I'd be better off not twisting, and removing the washer mod... So, what am I doing wrong? Or, is it behaving normally while I'm expecting a different result?

  8. Hello all! My name is Michelle and I was a pack a day smoker for the last 20 years. Have tried everything (except the Chantix cuz I am not real big on pharms) and always went back to analogs. Then I heard of the awesomely wonderful world of vaping and I love it! I am still very new so I have been trying every flavor I can get my hands on. I love that my teeth are now much whiter (huge coffee drinker too) and that I get to enjoy the smell of my shampoo, perfume, lotion, etc. I cannot believe how gross I must have smelled before. I never smoked in my house and rarely in the car but I now know what others had to endure when I would walk into a room or give someone a hug (much less a kiss...ugh, nasty). So with all that said, hello and I want to thank whomever created ths forum and all of the great advice, news and expertise everyone has shared! Looking forward to many many years of vaping, learning and chatting!

    What to tell them?

Hey, if you're unhappy with my vaping, I could always try to go back to smoking tar, and 400 other toxic chemicals if you miss them that much. But, you better pay for my hearse. I'll quit vaping when I'm good and ready, thank you very much. I enjoy vaping, it calms me whenever I'm around stupid idiots like you. I'll quit vaping the day you quit drinking coffee, BBQ-ing hot dogs, watching porn, criticizing others, dictating others, and being an overall pain in the human race arce. wait... maybe you don't want my advice...

  10. I didn't like that particular question, because it didn't really allow for various ventilation and such. It was either.. wide open spaces or all totally closed up in the same oxygen mask type of question. Nahh, didn't do it for me at all. But that's how politics is, it is what it is. Basically, if there's good ventilation, and space, I vape. If there's not, I wait, or I get out the shotgun and make some well ventilated holes.

  11. Other than one tobacco flavor, I have never had a liquid get better or more flavorful-more to my liking by steeping. The exact reason I do not buy ANY liquids from a brick and mortar shop is the fact that they are pre-made, most do not have PG VG content disclosed, where they are made, born on dates, or anything else for that matter. I want my liquids freshly mixed to my specifications. Just my 2 cents, but I trust Sweet-Vapes, ECblends, and VapeDudes FAR MORE than I do any of the B&Ms in my area especially when it comes to liquids. I have been told too much stuff that is not true by those that shop there and pay the ridiculous prices.

  12. I no longer look at vaping as a way to quit smoking like at first, but rather a much cheaper and safer alternative. Maybe explaining it that way makes sense. I think using the term "I quit smoking" is a little zealous for what we do. To me, quitting smoking equates to breaking a nicotine addiction and I am not doing that. I am however using what I feel is the safest delivery method possible and feel great, am off a lot of the meds I used to take daily, and couldn't be happier. I may try a drop to 18 or 16mg once my liquids get low, just to see if I can, but I in no way see it as something I "need" to do since there are so few inherent dangers from nicotine alone. It is not all that different from caffeine and I bet they are drinking sodas or coffee in the morning. Both are just mild stimulants.

    Computer chair?

I would definitely go with one that has the memory foam in the seat. I bought one at a local 'office type' store here where I live when I came back to work after my back surgery... granted it was like $300... but it was SO worth the money! Doesn't even compare to any of the other 3 or 4 office chairs I've had over the last 18 years. Memory foam and high back were the two things I had to have... and I'm glad I did. Now I can almost sit at work all day w/o being in pain... almost!

  14. At least you'll get an idea of what to reorder with those, maybe get the 10ml of those and some more samples of some others you haven't tried yet next time. Problem is, some of the liquids have to sit for a while before you know what they are really like. So try them out of the mail box, if you like them you can use those up while the ones that weren't quite right sit. Then you can give those another try in a week or 2.

    What to tell them?

How about something like "it's a very long process, and it takes time, and how what a marvelous success you are and my, don't I smell nice, and isnt it wonderful how food tastes incredible and gee it feels great to be alive. Etc" And then glance over at the spitoon and crinkle your nose a little and shake your head. They'll get the message

    Last question on TH strengths.

Yeah. For me the 24mg really gave me that kick that I needed in the early days. Anything less than that and I was not a happy camper even at 80/20. But that was the early days. Now I'm a certified lightweight, lol. I've found I really dont crave that massive throat hit that I so needed only a couple months ago. Now I am totally satisfied with 12mg and plumes of vapor with 50/50. Its funny how my tastrs have changed. I still, however, will not put up with a bad tasting juice. Gotta be good juice, lol. And after 4 months I have 4 absolute vape all day juices and a couple "passables" that keep me in the game daily. Life is good :-)

  21. 70-30 24mg extra flavor is all she has vaped for about 8 days. Maybe 2-3ml left out of 30ml bottle lol.

  22. ECblends is good too. My wife's new favorite flavor is their peppermint. I prefer VapeDudes Candy Cane. Go figure. She has knocked the bottom out of a 30ml bottle in a little over a week. 120ml keg should be here tomorrow lol. Trying their Strawberry too since I love VapeDudes Strawberry Fields so much. That and my mints are really all I vape anymore.

    Last question on TH strengths.

^^^this^^ From everything in your OP, you've got to get a clearo that doesnt leak and a juice with a 70/30 min pg/vg at 24mg. You get that, and you'll be there.
    1 point
  24. The higher the nicotine content and higher PG offers a harder throat hit. It's not really so much the flavor of the juice as it is the ratio of PG/VG. Vape Dudes is a very popular vendor of e-liquids around here, as is Sweet-Vapes.com (add the hyphen or it'll take you to a different vendor altogether), although I don't shop at the latter anymore. EC Blends is still my personal favorite because you can customize the bejeezus out of all their juices.

    Glass tanks for eVod?

When I have a new coil in, I just put a finger over one hole, same thing though.

  27. Just get a colored wide band rubber band and put that around the glass (hair stuff should work just as well). It should protect it well enough and give you the color coding you're wanting until the colored glass tanks come out.

    Glass tanks for eVod?

    Loving my mini Davide's

  36. Actually, twisting your Kanthal will lower your resistance by about 1/3, so If you're using 32 gauge Kanthal A-1, a single strand should provide you with about 1.15Ω per inch, while twisted 32 gauge should get you down to around .77Ω per inch. The big difference is that you've effectively doubled your surface area and added a lot of little nooks and crannies for your juice to get vaporized from. Why your resistance increased is a mystery to me, too.

    Glass tanks for eVod?

Pretty sure any tank with a 510 or Ego fitting will work. AnyVape Davide, Davide Minis, Kanger Pro Tank 1 and 2, Kanger Pro Tank Mini 1abd 2 are the best ones I know of. I love the KPT2 but for portability, features, and cost I use mostly Davide Minis. It's so subjective.

  40. With the Vision Spinners it is sort of the same. The power light goes off about 30-40 minutes before the light on the charger goes green. If I unplug at any point after the power light goes off,but before the charger light turns green, I cannot plug it back in and restart the charging process and the battery has a noticeably shorter life for that charge. I do not plug them in anywhere that I do not have a full 5 hours to let the process complete.
