Good to hear your mother is recovering, I wish you luck getting back on the vaper wagon as well. I fell off a few months ago myself, it only helped me realize how much I hate analogs.1 point -

To be honest, Jeff, I wasn't sold on them at first but found out that both coils that came inside the Davide were bad. Once I changed out the coils...I rather like them now. Even better than the Vision Victory -- none of the leaking problems with a Davide. Even after changing the coil on the first one it still took a while for it to break in properly but once it did, it's pretty amazing. Keep in mind that it could've just been the juice I was using in it as well. Now that I know what to look out for I even ordered three more. The Davide hits a little tighter than the Pro Tank, which I prefer. Still, I had to put a tiny piece of tape over one hole and that took care of the problem nicely. The Pro Tank 2 is a huge improvement over the first one and didn't need any tweaking at all. Seems like I'm the only one on the forum who had anything other than a spectacular intro to the Davide but it worked itself out. I'm very much liking a glass tank.1 point

Davide Glassomizer and Mini Davide by Anyvape on sale now

Good luck with that. LOL1 point -
Well it's been a few days now and ever since I swapped the coils out in the Vision Victory tanks I haven't had one issue with leaking. They seem to be doing fine. I still think it's a great little unit with just a marginal nose up on performance over the Kanger T2. The T2's are work horses though. Hard to beat them. They have been trouble free for me for months now.1 point

2.5 did the trick with my strawberry fields. I can crank it up and get huge vapor now with no burned taste. Why did I not try this before? Lol1 point -

Received T2 mouth pieces today with 2 boxes of T2 coils. Tomorrows vape mail should be my liquid from vape dudes, 10 bottles of liquid, and 3 more T2 clearos. And todays impulse was to order 3 mini Davide glassomizers with a 5 pack of coils, and some drip tips. hopefully have those on Saturday. Busy and expensive week.1 point -

There's a great 'Tutorial' board on this forum. You will find a lot of answers there. http://www.vaportalk.com/forum/forum/203-member-tutorials/1 point -
I'm so sorry to hear you're having a family emergency. When my hubby was in the hospital, I vaped happily away in the bathroom, and I vaped stealthily away while at his bedside. Just be sure to wear a blouse that is easy to blow your vapor into. Stealth vaping is a little bit hard to master, but so worth it in times like these. Make sure the drip tip lifts up into the inside of your upper lip (a little tiny bit), to catch the wisp before it leaves your mouth. Hold the vapor as long as possible, then blow any remaining inside your blouse. (take small draws, of course, so you don't cough or feel like you're going to explode your mouthful lol). I stealth vape now, even when I'm waiting for the Dr. for my own checkups. Just be sure to refrain when anyone is coming. Having a higher nic level on hand for times like these is priceless advice. I'm sort of going through the same thing at the moment, stress wise. Between the stupid nazi bill-SB-648 battle (WE WON!!!!! YAY!!!!! CORBETT DROPPED THE BILL AN HOUR BEFORE THE MEETING!!), and my oldest brother dying, the stress has been tremendous. One day this stress will pass. I am a Vaper, even if I grab a smoke here and there. I don't smoke the entire cig, just a few icky puffs, so, even if I go through a pack, only 3 puffs per cig were smoked out of the 10-15 that I normally would have otherwise. (what's the math here? 3 puffs x 20 = 60 puffs in all, instead of the 10 x 20 =200 puffs it would have been had I of not switched to vaping). Your body and tastebuds will tell you to "drop that sucker, it's awful!!". Your security blanket wants you light up another one. Take some super delicious flavors with you so you look forward to your vaping, not your lighter, and you'll be fine.1 point

Calif SB-648 dropped for now

Copied and pasted from CASAA UPDATE (8/14/2013): Today's hearing on SB 648 before the Assembly Committee on Government Operations was canceled just an hour before it was set to begin. Word on the ground is that SB 648 is dead until at least January. Those in California should continue to respond to this Call to Action Ever vigilant1 point -

Today at worked I noticed a piece of string or something caught in the thread of my vivi nova and I wanted to make sure it wasn't a crack so I tipped it upside down and unscrewed the bottom. Out came 1ml of juice through the drip tip since un screwing it released the plastic thing sealing the lid and tank. Didn't have a back up on me . Lesson learned.1 point

Back in the day. Multi-day backpacking trips, all in the western US. Star filled nights near a hot spring. But my old bones won't take it anymore, and the knees are shot, awaiting replacements ...1 point
