It's not that I didn't care what anyone thought of me. I'm from the country so lol I'm not trying to win anyone over. If they can't accept you for who you are then there not your friends and you don't need friends like that.2 points

Vaping is for Nerds!

Tam brings up a good point. Vendors are human and can make mistakes. Its how they handle a mistake that determines if they are a good vendor in my eyes.2 points

Anyone tried zemocigs?
DarthVaper and one other reacted to Tam for a topic
The owner and your friends may think these are good because they do not know about the kinds of equipment Bcarter is recommending. Nearly all of us on this forum use eGo or Vision Spinner batteries or mods. Nearly half of those who switched to these kinds of batteries started out with the kind you linked to and it's unanimous that they can't believe what a HUGE difference and improvement once they switch. It sounds to me that you've already made up your mind to purchase these so go ahead and get them. At least you'll get off cigarettes. Then, when you're ready for something more (when these don't do it for you anymore), you can try some of what the members here would highly recommend.2 points -

Looks like another V2, Blu, Topaz, or whatever private label it is called. They are about all the same and it would be my advice to invest in a good ego starter kit. The best deal I know of is the EGO 1000mah kit at VapeDudes.com that has 2 batteries roughly 4 times the life of those, 2 clearomizers, all charging accessories, and 3 10ml bottles of liquid of your choice. I guarantee you if you plan to do this, you will be sorry if you buy a kit like this. Just my two cents.2 points -
These Rebuildables are NOT, and I repeat, are NOT for the beginner. If you're interested in building your own atomizers, the first thing you'll need is an OHM meter. I got mine at Madvapes, but COV and other places carry them too. These are handy for cartomiszers, atomizers, and RBA's alike. It will not be a waste of money if you later decide RBA's aren't for you at this time. Here is a direct link to the one I have. http://www.madvapes.com/cartomizer-and-atomizer-ohm-meter.html These will help prevent mod mishaps. It would be a shame to short out your expensive to you mod, when it could have been avoided with a 20 dollar bill. It's money well spent. Even the storebought plug and play cartos and attys sometimes arrive DOA or DyingOA, or the wrong OHMS marked, and worse yet, a faulty coil causing a short... being able to check your ohms before mounting onto the mod will spare many springs and mods both. Now that you're convinced you need an OHMs meter, and you are, in fact, checking out your cart, we can now get down to some basic RBA tutorial stuff. I am not a whiz, or a pro, but I do have a tad bit of experience, and am more than happy to try to share my journey with you., until a Pro does come along and hopefully takes over. (please!).1 point

Lol, okay before you all dogpile on me here, let me explain my provocative post I have a friend who just thinks vaping is not macho enough. Believe me he's the nicest guy you'd wanna meet, honest, but he does view vaping as kind of nerdy and I kind of get his point. He just cant seem to get past this one aspect of it. He does see that there are health benefits but he can't picture himself with all the fancy gear. He's kind of a Marlboro Man, ya know? Which is fine, but he's kinda stuck on that image thing. I know for me I went thru a little bit of this myself but my purpose for quitting outweighed the image thing so it didnt last too long. Have you run in to others like this? Is there any gear a little less nerdy and techy? Ya know a skull and crossbones vaporizer kinda thing or something to get him over this?1 point

Rinsing out?
Tam reacted to bcartervol98 for a topic
I mean I bait a fishing hook with one hand while eating a sandwich with the other lol. Either way, I cannot see a simple washing being necessary with a new product. I would wash new dishes I guess, but what about paper plates? They are manufactured and we put food on them right out of the package. I guess there are two sides to this question. To be honest, the thought never occurred to me to wash before use. I dont see myself starting now haha.1 point -
You're well on the way. Congratulations. Sorry about the grief your wife is giving you. Sounds like she can't see the big picture right now but she'll come around. Is she a smoker? My wife and I have gone from about $60/week smoking to probably $15/week vaping. Sure, the initial costs were high figuring it all out but we're really beginning to see the savings now. And wwhat is that cost when compared with health? Priceless!1 point

Its the same kind of stuff sold at Mall Kiosks and flea markets tattooed with a different name. I spent enough to buy a Provari on crap like those before finding this forum and the real stuff. I was literally on the verge of saying "Eff It" and going back to analogs. I honestly fell like finding this forum and info leading to me dropping the stinkies have played a major role in extending my life by years if not decades, and that's a direct quote from my cardiologist. Everyone has their own path, but OP will be happier and have more money in her pocket if she takes the advice on here.1 point -
amp limitation = albatross tied around the eagle's neck, or is that the Indian's neck...now I'm confused. Ah ! well a-day ! what evil looks Had I from old and young ! Instead of the cross, the Albatross About my neck was hung.1 point

Dammit Joe, now we need a new character besides the eagle, rabbit and Indian1 point

But don't forget that if the amperage limit of your Switch is too low it will limit the flow of current. Without taking that into account it will throw your numbers off1 point

Kanger ProTank Coil Issue?
Love2VapeDaily reacted to Jeffb for a topic
The coils get crud built up on them after being used awhile. This increases the resistance.1 point -
If depends on 'WHY" youre vaping. if its to get off a pack of cigarettes a day-it isn't going to satisfy you . the cartridges are expensive ,its takes too long to charge, its takes way too little to drain the battery, and in essence it will set you up for failure.I used my blue for 7 days and was ready for something better . so , 30.00 for the starter kit, 15.00 for 5 cartridges And to satisfy a pack a day smoker youll need about 5 cartridges a day- and all that hoowie about lasting more than a pack per cartridge is laughable . SO then I moved to a "real " pv. I bought an evod starter kit ,that I probably paid too much for (60.00) but thats ok because I will not smoke a real cigarette again.I just look at it like I myself spent the initial $30.00 plus 3 or 4 packs of cartridges @ $15.00 only to buy something better in the long run. Had I found this fourm BEFORE I wouldnt have bought it -I would have passed go and collected $200.00 lol nobody wants you to have to go through that if you dont have to - If you want to get it because you dont want to smoke in your new car and have every intention of staying an analog cigarette smoker -then it should be fine for that .1 point

Those stick batts may last 1.5 hours before you need to recharge. I assume your friends are recommending it because they are friends with the owner. How much did you smoke before? Im vaping pretty much all day and I would need quite a few batts to get me through the day. The best advice is up above regarding getting the eGo kit.1 point

HOW TO CARRY MY E-CIG?

I don't know, maybe I just got a couple of bum coils with the VT. The new coils are doing just Fine without a bit of gurgling or leaking. And my mocha java is the toughest juice I have. It's hard on coils, lol.1 point

Welcome to VaporTalk! You've come to the right place. Many of us were chain smokers, or on our way to becoming chain smokers and know what you're facing. Switching over to vaping is the best decision I ever made. I tried everything else out there, and always had epic fails. The harder I tried to quit, the more anxiety I would feel, and the more I would smoke. A totally viscous cycle. During my first week of vaping, I discovered that I actually preferred vaping... the smell, the flavor, the vapor... everything positive was doubled. For me, there were the dreaded 5 that I had a hard time giving up, but when I was ready, I challenged those and those too went away. Tell us a little more about your habits, likes and dislikes. Menthol? Camels? Work at home? Work breaks only? Oh, and btw, I smoked for over 45 years and was almost up to 3 packs a day when I started vaping. (Camel filters and Marlboro reds). What helped me? eGo type of battery. Today the eGo Twist or the Vision Spinner are even better. Cartridge and Boge Carto's. Today, the Viva Nova v2 and the Kanger ProTank are even better. There are others too, of course, but these are the ones I'm most familiar with. Come on in, pull up a chair, grab a cookie, and get ready for the info that will change you into an ex-smoker once and for all. Welcome.1 point

Review Of E-Cig.com E-Cialis Smoke Juice
