Nope! I tell her I got a great deal! And she says awesome! How much? My response: 20 dollars less the it should be but 40 dollars more then you think.3 points

I just don't tell, don't show off a new toy, wait for her to see it or figure it out. This spring, it took her a month before she realized the TV in the family room grew 14 inches!2 points

My quitting journey
IMEDICx90 and one other reacted to loneranger721981 for a topic
Well I am going on day 4 and have noticed a few things. Firstly my taste and sense of smell have gotten way better. My tongue no longer has that film on it from smoking. I visited my moms house and she still smokes. The smell from the analogs almost made me physically ill. I don't think i could ever have another analog again which is a good thing.2 points -
Ok now I don't mean any disrespect but do you think the rest of us don't have a household to support? Your talking about saving pennies but your going out and placing a large order for vaping gear? I'm all for upgrading your rig and doing what you can to achieve the best vape but your worried about saving $10 on a mod or battery so you order from fast tech but you have to pinch every penny. Doesn't this kinda fall under maybe you shouldn't spend it if you don't have it? Just my .02 cents but I am certainly tired of hearing this argument as to why you can't buy from an American vendor. The same story applies for the whole Walmart crap. I support my wife and my daughter on my income because my wife is going to school. I just happen to use the free money we would normally use to go eat out or go to a movie on vape gear for us.i just don't understand that mentality. I'm not saying don't order from fast tech but can we at least just admit that you could careless about the wait time bc ultimately it's cheaper and your just a bargain shopper instead of pulling the "gotta support my family" card?2 points

My first impressions after switching from an eGo C-Twist to a ProVari..
tzymroz2013 reacted to Rattlehead for a topic
This isn't really a review of the ProVari (there's already tons of those online), but just my thoughts after upgrading from an eGo C-Twist. Figured it might be helpful for others who may be considering it. I've only had it for a few days but so far I absolutely love it! This thing is built like a tank and damn near as heavy as one. :p It feels like a very high quality unit. I read a lot of reviews (mostly good) before buying it, but I noticed several people saying that they didn't care for the single button control for the settings/display. I'm guessing these complaints are coming from folks who have never tried one, as I find the operation to be very easy and I actually like the fact that it only has one button. Very simple to use. With the eGo twist, I found it difficult to see the tiny markings for voltage settings. I was constantly straining my eyes to read it. No such problem with the ProVari's big display. What I'm really liking is the consistency of the vape. With the eGo twist it seemed to be hit or miss, but with the ProVari its a good vape every single time. The kit I ordered came with a Kanger ProTank, which I also really like. Holds more liquid than the old CE4s I was using on the eGos, no flooding problems so far, and produces lots of vapor. Overall I couldn't be happier. Well worth the money.1 point -

Just a thought because I don't know how severe your disability is, but have you tried wrapping a rubber band around the part you want to unscrew? That might help give you some grip on the right part. I've worked with students with disabilities for years and we've found that rubber band trick useful for all sorts of gripping things. Large, wide rubber bands work great for getting jars open.1 point

Ha! Who rocks harder??? Thanks for the heads up on Discount Vapers. Darn, should've waited a day or three. Just made a large-ish order with them a couple of days ago. Okay, I have a couple on their way.1 point

Hey guys it's been a really long time since I posted on here... A little background for those who don't know me or forgot... I quit smoking 12/20/10 and have been vaping since... Started with the Joye 510.... Then went to a ego...been using that with a LR atty @1.7 ohms dripping.. I have exhausted my supply of attys and cant find any more LR's ( been getting from one spot) I did buy an ego t and I can't stand it... I get a burnt taste or nothing but some nasty taste... Now I see all these cool ecigs and different hardware and I feel as if I have cheated myself from not upgrading or following the curve... I wanna upgrade... I need help...But don't know what to look for... When I started there were not so many options... Can anyone give me some info on what is a good ecig? I know its subjective but how bout tell me what you use and why... Thanks guys and gals1 point

Hey, Aquatroy. Sorry for the slow response. I only just now saw this. Anyway, here's what Tam does: It's on the wall of my office next to my main computer. The blinds in the office are always closed so it stays nice and dark in here. This picture was taken in January of 2013. Since then I've gotten rid of nearly all the Sweet-Vapes juices and it's now stocked with mostly EC Blends' and Vape Dudes' flavors with a couple of Mt. Baker Vaper's that I'm trying to like... Here's the link to the original post:1 point

Holy freakin mouthwatering.....gonna have to try me some...maybe a batch run?1 point

Oh nice, they do give a % to support the children of agent oranged Vietnam. No, I haven't tried the various other flavors yet, just Pluid. It drives me crazy they don't say what flavors might be tasted. I've kept my eyes peeled for info though, and so far, I've heard: Maha Raz is like a Chi-Tea with roses... a Pot-Pouri that grows on ya, or it doesn't. Needs a lot of steeping. 710 is like a chocolate... but not quite a good chocolate... and needs a lot of steeping. The two safest bets are Pluid and Agent Orange. (but they're all worth trying I imagine! and he's busy in the kitchen creating even more exotic flavors to try).1 point
-
Yeah it's super heavy. But the flavors just weren't mingled nicely so I let it steep and am gonna try it again tomorrow.1 point
-
I have the 710 and its an ry4 style. It definitely needs steeping time though.1 point

I have been one since i was really little but recently i have really stepped into the realm of the best sound you can get. I have owned over 50 different top brand headphones (Bose, klipsch, senheisser, manta, monster, etc.) and let me tell you.... i have found my 2 favorite. I have a pick for earbuds and one for studio style over the ear headphones Earbuds: Bose IE2, they are the MOST comfortable earbud i have ever worn and you cant beat the sound quality. crisp highs with a tight mid section and just enough boomy bass to let you hear and feel it without overpowering the rest of the sounds Over the Ear: Monster Diamond Tears editions. These headphones blow away my MKT studio monitors and are half the price..... I love these things for mixing. I can isolate each instrument or sound in one ear and still find its range in the other.... it moves based on setting in the internal wiring pattern for them. Its freaking incredible. Dont know that anyone else here cares but i just thought i would share it if anyone loves to listen to music but is tired of the cheap skull candy knock offs.1 point

Valid arguments, but until it's signed on the dotted line, let's FIGHT!!! FIGHT!!! FIGHT!!!!1 point

I don't go anywhere without my Bose earbuds. Frequency response is awesome. I use 'em on my phone, iPod, line6 pod, and Korg Pandora. Still use my sennheisers in the studio settings. I actually haven't bought new headphones for a while...1 point
-
bose continues to amaze me. they have come a long way to making their products are available to the general public. you dont have to have tons of money to get a great product like with klipsch or senheisser. I am also quickly becoming a fan of the Monster DNA line. They are simply some of the best headphones i have ever owned and i wouldnt think twice about replacing them with the same pair if they ever broke or were stolen.1 point

It does seem the technology is getting better and better and this will in turn attract more and more people to vaping. Hopefully. I think the glass tanks are on the rise!1 point

My wife uses the Bose earbuds, and I use an over the ear type, also Bose, but don't have the model numbers. Her buds have interchangeable earpieces in different sizes, and she could get the smalls in her little ears1 point

Lol fair enough... but either way... i dont have that tobacco. So if someone wants to chip in for it i will gladly make the clone as soon as the stuff comes in. If not thats fine too but it will have to wait until after school starts for my daughter as i have some back to school shopping to do.1 point
-
This was put up there: " Try the PA Tobacco Absolute (in a 1-2 drops per 10ml dilution). Replace the B&M, Raisin, almond, cinnamon additions ...the TA gives you all these subtle notes (including the sweet honey flavor if you add a small amount of EM)...I'm not kidding. Just my opinion, but the TA is the primary ingredient that gives Boba's most of its "chameleon" characteristics... by adding all these other flavorings, you are only hitting one particular flavor that pops up now and then in BB, but in mixing them all in, you are in fact muddying up the juice. None of the flavors come through cleanly at one point in time like the original. I'm not saying that some of these recipes aren't outstanding in their own right (they are), but they are getting away from the basic FOUR INGREDIENTS in Boba's...keep that in mind."1 point
-
Ok so i bought all the flavors i need for this clone... except one. I didnt buy Black and Mile plus from ecigexpress bc i have way to many orders coming in from different vendors and couldnt justify the shipping for one flavor. So if anyone would like to either donate a bottle of it to the cloning... or purchase one and send it i promise i will make sure they get the first sample after its made and has steeped for 1 week.1 point

eGo twist vs Mods?

I've never used a Vamo but I went from a twist to the Provari and the difference is like night and day. With the big mod you get a good vape every time. With the ego it's hit or miss.1 point -

eGo twist vs Mods?
Uma reacted to Rattlehead for a topic
Thanks for all the help and comments in this thread.. After watching a ton of youtube vids and reading a bunch of reviews, I ended up ordering a Provari. I almost got the VAMO which a lot of people seem to like, but I really like the idea that the ProVari is made here in the USA and it seems to get a lot of great reviews too. Can't wait to get it!1 point -

Uma reacted to tzymroz2013 for a topic
I checked Alien Visions site says they have a supply of boba but have to be fast on the draw when they open up. I want to try it so bad I cant stand it. They open at 8 pst, @ Uma I will be a test subject if u want to mix but keep in mind I have only tried Alien vapor Bb juice --which I continue to like. It changes for the better as it steeps, my tastebuds r doing fine too - now cig free as ended my affair with the morning cig --1 point -
With regard to number 8, is that TFA's Tobacco Blend? Ok, so at 15% flavor to base, it would probably be something like this by total volume: Tobacco Blend(Alc) - 3.75% Cinnamon Danish Swirl - 3.00% Almond oil - 1.50% Cherry - 2.25% Graham Cracker - 3.00% Cotton Candy - 1.50% Are my figures correct? Wonder if I could replicate it using strictly TFA stuff, since that is what I mostly have.1 point
