Watch out for Alibaba.com! They are NOT a supplier, but rather a wholesaler directory service. They gobble up all kinds of domains and misrepresent themselves as a "specialized" distributor of products. A former co-worker got duped buying bulk soccer jerseys (all were counterfeit, mis-sized, and literally falling apart). Servers are off-shore, and I'd be VERY surprised if you found any of the "suppliers" that are not fronts for SE Asian sweat shops. You know, I've been doin' a lot of thinkin' about this one, and I've come to the conclusion that with the simplistic design of Genesis rebuildables, it's really kinda hard to screw it up. I mean, you have a positive post with insulators, a threaded hole & screw for the negative connection, and a wick hole...how hard can it be? As for the power section of a hybrid, there's no circuitry, so as long as the switch completes the loop, you're good. Even wick hole placement doesn't matter much to me since I started connecting my leads in reverse (we'll call that "", since nobody's laid claim to that technique yet ). My AGT has a top lead so long that The Flying Wallendas recently called me with hopes to set up a pay-per-view tightrope act to cross it without a net, but I've yet to have a hot spot, so even that's not an issue any more. I think I may have to get me one of these el-cheapos because I can't really see how they could mess it up. But then again, I did buy a Yugo when they first came out, too, sooooooo...

Tesla is a great unit, built like a tank, but some don't like it, I do...and the EVic is anther good choice, hard to blow a head, does most of the adjusting for you, and if your into it, programmable option via PC. There's a lot of great units out there, but they like to hang in crowds!!

The one called the Uma was the one my hubby bought me for Christmas, when they first came out, and with sore ribs from my nudging him so intensely to get me one, It wasn't called "the Uma" then. It was called BYO. (Build your own). Mine was the first BYO in Polished Brass over Polished Stainless Steel. So, the creator, Jim, dubbed it the "Uma" edition. The other one, a Satin SS over Polished SS I won in the Lottery last month. When you purchase goodies at MMVapors, you get to enter your Order Numbers into every Lottery he does. So, hmmmm, No Wonder what, exactly? Please, do tell. Oh, and the 18650? The BYO came with all 3 sized tubes... 18350, 18500, 18650. for the price you all now pay for one.

I just did a quick look of the sub ohm site.. As an example they list an 1100maH ego battery for $7 But, the description is very lacking. It doesn't list any safety features like auto cutoff. It is described as "rechargeable" but doesn't tell you if it's lithium/ion which if it isn't can mean unstable voltage and short battery life. It's a little too cheap to risk in my opinion. I generally don't trust a site if they don't provide what would normally be considered a complete description of the product.

I like em both, although I do find that Americam Made juices have more flavor.

Well it's like a Nissan that is made in the USA. It is "assembled" here with parts from overseas. A liquid can be "made in the USA" using foreign made PG, VG, nic, or flavoring and still make that claim legally if it is mixed here. No one can know for sure with anyone, and I say this all the time so it may seem redundant, but in my I trust 100% in VapeDudes and Sweet-Vapes to be USA products made from USA ingredients. In my opinion from the dozen or so suppliers I have tried these are the only two that no flavor I have tried had any chemical taste to their liquids. Sure I have gotten flavors from both I wasn't fond of but only because I just didn't like them lol. I also only trust that VapeDudes mixes each order individually. Sweet-Vapes may do some but I ordered 120ml of a flavor from them once that shipped in like 3 hours so its hard for me to believe as high volume they do it could be done that quickly, maybe. Either way both are great. I actually broke down and tried Dekang and to me, it was awful. Like worst taste I have tasted since I started vaping. I would never knowingly ingest anything into my body made in China but with hardware there are few choices. It sometimes makes me nervous to have what basically is something that could explode on a lanyard around my neck if I'm being honest and would feel better if the USA could get into the market on the hardware as well an the ingredients but given the FDAs impending deeming forthcoming I will be content if it stays as is.

If you vape one flavor for too long, your taste buds will become "used" to that flavor. I usually start out my day with Strawberry Fields, then after lunch move to Spearmint or Candy Cane (peppermint) then back to Strawberry a couple hours before bed. If I vape Strawberry Fields all day, I can hardly taste it by late afternoon and my tastebuds should be close to back at this point. As your tastebuds heal, it can be a crazy experience. When I smoked analogs I would not eat anything that had celery in it. I could smell it and it would turn my stomach, I hated it. Now I cannot get enough in my chicken salads. I hated Italian dressing, but now its my favorite. Let your tastebuds heal and you will finally taste what things are supposed to taste like. I used to love Krystal burgers too, but now that I can taste them.....dam

Resistance and battery life are my favorite bells, and the one problem I have with ego style batts as you never know how much life you have left, and always have to carry a spare. And it's not bigger vape, but a better vape, with a VV-VW you can really tune it in, flavor and attys both..

I smoked 1.5 to 2 packs a day for over 27 years, and this was my first attempt to quit. I didnt expect it to work, and now I would never trade my vape gear for a lifetime free supply of analogs. I actually prefer it, not just a substitute that "will do". Like I said before, even if the medical community came out and stated that smoking analogs or vaping had identical health risks, I would continue to vape over smoking.

There are a few stores who specialize in real tobacco. Ahlusion dot us is one. Someone mentioned that someone has a righteous clone, except better, which means it's not the same thing, BB clone. I can't find the post, but I remember the Vendor or DIY'er had a name that reminded me of a Grumpy Dog. Blu's Clu's lol.

I just saw some of these at a lical shop. They do have a wick and they are top feed but they are hidden in a sleeve or something. Really interesting. Lets us know how they work out. Maybe post a review

I'm just starting in the DIY and no where near trying this, but if someone wants this challenge I'd be willing to chip in some $ to help with the flavors.

It's been attempted many times, but never duplicated. Though, it would be fun to try!!! Since they use naturally extracted tobaccos, anyone ever thought that AVE gets their flavor by extracting a pipe tobacco blended by a professional tobacconist??? I mean, they recently ran out of Boba's flavor for two weeks....and it takes about two weeks to steep tobacco in VG to draw out the full flavor. And (from what I've read of this method), a mere 1oz of tobacco will yield about 30ml of extract, which will yield around 150ml of e-liquid.

I dumped my friends carto tank in my lap yesterday. Talk about a mess!!! He bought one with a replaceable tube.... He had a 10ml tube on it........

Yes, ya gotta be careful unscrewing alot of these tanks, especially the ones that don't have knurling (so you can grip it good) on the bottom. If you don't grip the atty or bottom cap portion, you end up with a mess. I used to think spilling/knocking over my ashtrays was terrible. E-cigs can be just as messy. Ha.

I love 'em all! Cartomizers, atomizers, carto tanks, RBAs, clearomizers, glassomizers...you name it and I vape it! If it gives me problems, I just figure out why and correct it! In fact, if I could figure out how to get paid for vaping, I'd do it for a living!

One of two problems is occuring, #1 was more then likely caused by #2. #1The positive pin on the KPT has been pushed in to far causing intermittent connection with the vamo pin. You can try to gently pull the pin on the KPT out with some needlenose pliers or tweezers. Note i said gently, if not careful you will pull the whole coil assembly out. #2 the center pin on the vamo has been pushed down by over tightening devices into the 510/ego connection.

I really appreciate reading answers/suggestions from you Tam. Reading thru this forum and checking out all the different threads, your replies are very helpful to me! I smoked about a pack or a little more of analogs a day. I couldn't smoke at work so most of my smoking was ALMOST chain smoking after I got home..lol. I started vaping this past Monday so this is my 6th day. The first day or so I smoked about 5 analogs a day.....the next few days I smoked 3. Today, I have smoked 1! And I lit that one 3 different times. I have been trying to keep myself from referring to them as "real" cigarettes and just refer to them as "tobacco" cigarettes. That has helped my frame of mind. I also keep expecting them to taste nasty. So far, they haven't tasted nasty but they seem to keep getting lighter and lighter???? Anyway, I wish you luck on kicking the analogs for good and like Tam has said, it helps if you don't just tell yourself that this is it...no more analogs only vaping. And thanks to you Tam for your thoughtful answers and suggestions
