Next paycheck I will be aquiring the flavors to do this.

I love 'em all! Cartomizers, atomizers, carto tanks, RBAs, clearomizers, glassomizers...you name it and I vape it! If it gives me problems, I just figure out why and correct it! In fact, if I could figure out how to get paid for vaping, I'd do it for a living!

IF I ever buy anything beyond an Ego style VV like my Spinners, it will most definitely be a Provari. I just doubt I will. I saw one over the weekend at the lake and it was cool, but no more vapor and taste than my Spinner had. I guess the battery life and "bells and whistles" are the main things that make them different. It would be cool to be able to see the resistance on my atty at the push of a button.

That's why I'm trying to wait patiently for the Pro Tank 2 to come out. You can replace everything one piece at a time AND! you can put your own favorite drip tip on it too.

Got it in the mail last week, and its been steeping ever since......sigh...... There is a trick. Memorize the number, expiration, and security code of the card you wish to order with. Log on to AVE about 5 minutes before opening, and get your wishlist ready. Once they open, your wishlist gets put in your cart, so all you have to do is hit the order button. Also, my browser has my card number, so all I have to do is type in the first 4 digits, and BAM!!!! I'm there!!!

well they came in today so im about to open them up and fill them up and then ill report back with an initial review.

Strawberry Fields, Candy Cane, and Spearmint are my 3 favorite flavors. It is very rare to not find one of those three on my battery. I also do 70-30 but at 24mg. Jennifer and Chris are good people and not as much understaffed as being one of the few that actually DO mix liquids to order unlike others I wont mention that obviously do not. If you order a liquid and get shipping confirmation within 24 hours, and they are a larger supplier like some are, then they are obviously mixing in batches. They are also one of the only 2 suppliers that I am 100% convinced use USA made PG and VG as well as flavorings in their liquids. I ordered another 200ml of Strawberry Fields last night and added a 10ml of "Chocolate Banana" to it. I have never tried a chocolate or a banana vape, but it sounds pretty good. Will let you know it so.

Bumping to say over the weekend, after my wife dropped her KPT on the boat and didnt remember it, and I got up and ended up digging glass out of my foot, she also jumped into the water with a T3S on top of a 1300MAH Spinner and didnt realize it for about 10 minutes when I said "Hey that looks like a lanyard around your neck". I dried off her battery and put on a new clearo and still works like a charm. lolmoonshine

My Mechanical mods lock too. (turn on/turn off. Lock/unlock). Both my Roller and my Poldiacs are TOP side button, all mechanical mods. The Roller locks by turning the knob to the side. The Poldiac locks by spinning the shirt over the button. (bad pic, ... both are in 18500 mode and both need the attys adjusted flush and both need fingerprints wiped off) BOTH are Top-sided LOCKABLE buttons.

There are a few stores who specialize in real tobacco. Ahlusion dot us is one. Someone mentioned that someone has a righteous clone, except better, which means it's not the same thing, BB clone. I can't find the post, but I remember the Vendor or DIY'er had a name that reminded me of a Grumpy Dog. Blu's Clu's lol.

Those prices sound wonderful and thank you for thinking of me but I'm going to have to decline on the "getting verified" at ECF. When I tried to just join that forum they were insisting on getting a credit card from me to become verified there. It left a bad taste in my mouth for the entire forum. Guess I'll just have to pay full price and look for the Pro Tank 2 elsewhere. Thanks again, though.

This is just me, but when I get a juice that's high in citrus and/or cinnamon I take it out of the plastic bottle it came in and put it into one of my glass ones. If the juice will do to the plastic clearos, I hate to think of what it's doing inside of the plastic bottle and then I wind vaping it.

I have three side-firing mech mods. Two of them are Kamry KTS+ and the third is a SmokTech Natural. All three have locking rings. I will say that I don't have any side-firing mech mods where the button is at the upper part of the mod (thumb rather than pinky), so I don't really know about those.

I'm just starting in the DIY and no where near trying this, but if someone wants this challenge I'd be willing to chip in some $ to help with the flavors.

It's been attempted many times, but never duplicated. Though, it would be fun to try!!! Since they use naturally extracted tobaccos, anyone ever thought that AVE gets their flavor by extracting a pipe tobacco blended by a professional tobacconist??? I mean, they recently ran out of Boba's flavor for two weeks....and it takes about two weeks to steep tobacco in VG to draw out the full flavor. And (from what I've read of this method), a mere 1oz of tobacco will yield about 30ml of extract, which will yield around 150ml of e-liquid.

thats not even a bottom button mod.... its a side button from the looks of it. this is a bottom button mod: http://www.vaportekusa.com/product_p/sig-60.htm so im confused as to what you are referring to as a button lock bc your mod would never have one.

Especially for you Uma, I have snapped these photos of my metal tube mech mod with the protected battery inside along with my (totally redundant) one time vape safe fuse. On top is a Smoktech Pyrex Vivi Nova. You really cannot see any exposed threads and the end cap is not hanging off the bottom. Looks fine. I tested the resistance of the fuse with my multimeter which gave a resistance reading of 1.0 ohms, however the meter has an internal resistance (checked by touching both probes together) of 1.0 ohms. So effectively no resistance was measured. I would like to state also that there is no decrease in performance with the fuse in there. Also while the mod doesn't have a locking mechanism as you see in some bottom firing mech mods, the button is quite stiff and is not likely to be activated by accident if in my pocket, For 17 bucks, its pretty nice and as simple as you can get.They also make a shorty version for use with a single 18350.

Same here, Blu. I loved it when I first got it. Swore by it. But after the carto died a few weeks later, I learned to hate them. Not all carto's are created equally, but come on, I went through a stack of them trying to get one that wouldn't either flood or dry hit. I tossed it, in disgust. I must admit though, I haven't tried the various styles/brands that have been created since I tossed mine.

I've tried all sorts of tank cartos, but I like the Boge F16 tank cartos best. They're single coil LR dual laser punched cartos so you don't have to worry about doubling your power to get a good vape like you do with dual coil tank cartos.

Well I guess I'm too young for this stuff too. I was going to buy one of those beautiful blue Bella tanks until luckily Medic pointed out to me that it is not the average tank, like the viva nova. That would have been a wasted $50.00. I've got to start reading the descriptions on this stuff and quit just looking at how pretty they are. Uma, I think you are into the beautiful stuff too and I know you are plenty experienced for one of those Bella tanks. And that juice yall are talking about, well I am not inhaling anything that melts anything but glass. That's ok though, I'm going to keep reading all of your posts and one day I'll be big enough to know what to do with a Bella tank.

Thanks, VC1. I really feel bad, due to the fact that I broke down and bought into those damned cigarettes again. The one good thing is that they taste a whole hell of a lot worse, since my vaping experience. Two days ago, I visited one of the local vapor lounges, and had one of my vaping units with me. I desired for them to check it out, and render their verdict to me. They seemed to be, pretty much, in consensus with most others - in that my system wasn't a bad one, at all, to start with. They couldn't say anything about the USB charger, owing to the fact that I didn't have it with me. The leaky tanks, however, seemed to be due to the fact that they were disposables. I explained that I also had a third one, which was a permanent one, that I hadn't yet tried. They seemed to beef the mind that the permanent one might nit exhibit the same leaky conditions. But the disposable ones did figure into the cost factor for the kit, and I wish to get my monie's worth. Right now, I am awaiting a response from Liberty (manufacturer of my kit), to work out a return/replacement manner. I can't wait to get set straight, with this concern, because of knowing how very helpful my vaping kit will be in my being able to permanently stand away from cigarettes.

Thats what I was saying. When I was a virgin vaper I thought mods would billow clouds of vapor because on youtube thats what you normally see, but now I know a twist with a boge 510 carto can do the same

There are other places where you can find these for a dollar or two less but I get mine from GotVapes. The more mAh, the longer the charge lasts. The only real difference I've found between Twists and Spinners is that I can see what voltage I'm at with the Spinners much easier than the Twist. With the Twist, because the numbers are etched into the metal, I have to hold the battery "just so" under a bright light so I can see the numbers. With the Spinner, it's right there and very easy to read -- unless you get the chrome one. That's been a bit harder for me to see.

@ Sonja: Cartos need to be wet inside. If they go dry and you continue to use them it could develop a burnt taste that won't go away even after you fill them again. Keep them topped off or stop vaping them if they might be going dry to avoid this. I don't think the position of them makes much difference in a carto. In a clearo it is helpful to tip them when they get low on juice. @ icrarussound and Sonja: Not all cartos are made equally either. Some may be much lower in resistance than is marked or just plain defective.
