i am to new to all this so i am not able to to help w/ your question but I did run across another forum website on net called www.rebuildable-ecigs forum.com. they seem to concentrate on mods and such and wiremesh, slica wicks versus cotton and hemp, versus ceramic. I did see some step by step stuff there. I am sure someone here will answer shortly. though. good luck2 points -

Frustrating, isnt it? Best success is if you have a local shop with a tasting bar. Can't beat it. You'll pay a little more but you take home and vape what you like. Next is getting recommends here. There are 1/2 dozen well thouggt of juice vendors mentioned. However- and this is a BIG however - taste is SO subjective that you cant really fault a reputable vendor. A few will let you send juice back. Most will do small samples packs for discount. I have seen someone rave about how great a juice was - and i got that juice and hated it. You takes your chances for sure You can definitely establish a relationship with a vendor. They can be helpful but they are limited in what they provide. Adjectives like "sweet" and "bitter" probably vary with each individual. As a general rule stay away from cheap juice. You get what you pay for. I have a local vendor I pay $13 - $16 for 15ml. But I vape the bottle dry. Most on line is hit or miss. Ive had best luck with vape dudes and sweet-vapes. Believe me. I have my share of unused juices. It's part of the deal. If you like sweet juices look for vendors that carry the following juice makers: Lush Vapor The Vaping Monkey Uncle Junks2 points

Vapor Kings kicks ***! Wish they were my local B&M! I have bought a few from them online. Great people!2 points

Good Life Vapor Sample packs allow me to try various juices from a vendor without committing to a 30ml+ bottle. Usually the smallest size i'll buy if im going to vape it frequently, usually much bigger if possible. With GLV's coupon code i got 2 sample packs shipped for 32.50. 88mls of juice wheeeee2 points

It is so worth it! Thanks. It should be okay in the fridge too. The only problem with fridges, is the cross contamination from fridge smells.... left over liver and onions might make the peach joose taste/smell a bit funny the next time you take it out. Well, it certainly was before God's helpers turned up the heat to cook a few Grasshoppers2 points

650mah black eGo. standard resistance ce4, typically a vanilla flavored juice (varied vendors) with a 70/30 or 80/20 vg/pg juice. Pros: Good flavor, reliable, simple, simple, simple. Cons: Ce4's don't last too long 5-6days, the eGo loses it's voltage towards the last hour or so of use. All in all, the benefits of how simple it is to use really outweigh the cons.2 points

It's on ECF...I don't buy a word of it.2 points

Their prices are always low. MadMurdock won't have it any other way. It's not a juice for the avg beginning consumer. You have to have glass/pyrex or Stainless Steel tanks. The o-rings of your contraption have to be out of condensation harms way. It's a beautiful Green. Food coloring is controversial.(use at your own risk/judgement) It's a super strong Black Licorice/Kiwi/your guess is as good as mine flavor. Try not to vape it 24/7. But, if you're ready, you can order it at VapingWatch. If you hurry, I think you can still make the contest in time. There are other flavors available too, all of them MadMurdock's crazy concoctions. 710 and Maha Raz seem to be a huge hit. Oh, and you'll need a blunt syringe, for taking it out of the glass bottle and inserting it into your glass tank.1 point

Oh, and while we're on Battery safety, I'd like to add: NEVER ever leave your battery operated anything inside a hot car, or in direct sun. It's that time of year again, when things overheat, especially batteries, dogs and Grandmas.1 point

I really don't want to order from fast tech. Idk why but I just have this feeling about it. I did order a KTS though since I saw yours and couldn't resist buying one from discount vapers.1 point

I contemplated getting one as well... But I'm not sure I want to! Lol. Oh and router I bought some Ef IMr batteries.... Those are the ones I want for my mech mods right?1 point

Uma are you for real? You did not have a fridge for 6 years? How did you do it? I know I must be spoiled but I can't imagine not having a fridge. I knew I admired you for a good reason1 point

I see your point about trying different flavors before buying a big bottle. So far I have not found anybody that meets Vape Dudes prices. I just ordered 4 50ml bottles of juice for $80.00 with their coupon code AND they sent me a free 50ml bottle and 2 Vape Dudes tee shirts. And I love their juices. This is my fourth order with them. Their S&H is a flat $3.00 and it got here in 4 days.1 point

You had it engraved? How cool is that. I love silver too. This really is the prettiest Mod I have seen yet. I am not ready for mods yet but when I feel ready for one I think I will get this one, so far.1 point

Sounds like you might like DIY. The reason I started with DIY was because the flavors were never quite right. By learning to do it myself I can tweak the liquids to my taste (which seem to change constantly). Finding the right flavor combinations is always a bit of a challenge until you find the ones you really like, Kinda like all things vaping.1 point

I just got mine, with a Protank it rocks. Though I feel like Luke Skywalker when I'm walking around the house vaping, lol.1 point

I'm actually using the drip tip that came with my Vision ViVi Nova. It has the largest flue of any tip I have, so juice goes right through without hanging up. HH.357 with a ViVi Nova drip tip and eGo drip shield on a Sigelei Zmax1 point

I agree. Are some people still doing it? sure! Apparently the danger comes about because in a series, the voltages get out of synch or something and they age differently. The uppermost battery appears to drain faster, which requires rotating of the batteries in the seriies. The rest is too technical for me. heh. But things may have changed with the newer batteries.1 point

Important sentence in that year old thread: "the explosions causing injury always happen to stacked batteries in metal tubemods."1 point

No fridge for six years?? Wow that is OFF the Grid Uma! congrats !!1 point

I know of only one mod explosion and that was with a homemade mod and the wrong batteries. All other incidents I've heard of happened during charging.1 point

It's not for beginners, Patricia, so don't worry about trying to understand it yet. Here's the same pic with descriptive terms to help grasp the overall idea though. (the button is on the opposite side, face down, at the moment, hidden from view, just so I could show off all 3 engravings... the tree on the VapeMods pipe stem Drip Tip, the graffitti handwriting on the Nahual RBA, and the Celtic Uma on the Roller Mod. ).1 point

Ya, the liquid can't wick fast enough to keep up. Its a common problem we had many years ago when all we had was cartridges and filler. let it rest and it should pick up again. not great for chain vaping.1 point
