HH.357 - First Impression
tzymroz2013 and one other reacted to Rixter for a topic
My HH.357 2Ω Long Barrel Hybrid 510 Atomizer from Avid Vaper just arrived in today's mail. This is one that I've been anxiously awaiting because...well, because it's an HH.357 drip atty! I've been wanting to try one for over a year now...I just didn't want to spend over $25 (shipped) on a single atomizer, but after seeing that they weren't just a flash in the pan (here today, gone tomorrow) I decided that now was the time, so I bought one. I followed the instructions Avid Vaper provided on their product page to the tee, and I can tell you that this is the best performing atomizer I've ever tried. I've used quite a few different atties since I started vaping, but the taste of my juice is definitely better by far in this one than in any of the others. The taste and vapor production at 8 watts is on par with a well set up RBA. Now I see what all the hype was about. I've heard that these last a really long time, too...I'm hoping for at least six months with proper care. My last atty, an Empire Mods 1.5Ω Premium Bridge Free LR901, lasted about 7½ months, and cost $7.49 + shipping. It was a great performer, too...just not as good as the HH.357. The taste is pretty incredible. I still love my RBAs, but they have to be set up properly to really shine. If money's not a concern and you want the best vape you can get right out of the package, the HH.357 is what you want.2 points -
A lot of juice makers use flavorings that contain food coloring. I tend to stay away from juices that are colored but thats just me. I just dont like the idea of adding uneccessary stuff to my vape. Plus, you may find the juice not staying that color. My wife uses little stickies and abbreviates the names on her clearos. That works well. I just grab and go, lol. And most of my juices are clear to amber. It is a little bother but not worth adding stuff to my vape2 points

And as my friend put it that knows both of them well, she is just as crazy as it seems in the video but he is as big of an a-hole as you will ever meet. I guess this might be a case of two people that are just too crazy for cohabitation. I have long felt like a couple should have to live under the same roof for at least 1 year before being issued a marriage license lol.2 points -

Ok this is pretty wild, this couple live in the same city I do and keep (kept) their boat in the same marina we do lol. Talk about a small world LOL http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/temper-tantrum-wife-husband-big-bully-article-1.1408883 Oh by the way they are now divorced.2 points -
Hey, I've become a die hard RBA nut lately (got four of 'em) because the performance is so great, but the flavor of my juices in this atty is absolutely awesome! I'm using a drip shield with it and loading 10 or so drops at a time so it keeps fogging for quite some time. I though I was done with dripping, too...guess not, eh?2 points

I do the same thing. I'm the kind of guy that bummed drags of smokes from my friends when i was a kid, i worked in construction for about 6 years and my hands were always covered in "poisonous" grout and cement products when i'd eat lunch, now i work in a motorpool in the army and you can imagine all the different types "poisonous" fluids i get on my hands on a daily basis and then go to lunch and dinner with lol. if someone wants a drag i'm more than happy to let them try it. if that helps one of my brothers or sisters in arms get off smokes i'm all for it.2 points

some great answers !! allergy to PG is usually uncontrollable coughing more than anything, but since you just quit smoking....I vote cigarette (tons of chemicals other than nicotine) withdrawal. When you are using your ecig, do you pull directly into the lungs or mouth then lungs. pulling directly into the lungs will cause a very harsh hit. Is your battery a variable voltage? there is a learning curve with vaping and finding the equipment and flavors that work best for you. but I promise....It really is worth it !!2 points

Just for kicks, let's compare apples to bazookas: Vision eGo Spinner 1300mAh Variable Voltage (3.3-4.8v) battery - $21.00 (No need for two batteries totaling 560mAh when you have well over twice that much battery life with one Spinner) 510 USB Battery Charger - $2.99 USB Wall Charger - $2.50 Boge 510 Stainless Steel Cartomizers 2Ω or 3Ω (five pack) - $5.50 Drip Tip - $1.99 Shipping - $3.00 Total: $36.98 E-liquid from $2.00 to $2.95 per 10 ml., depending on brand and quantity ordered. Dekang five-packs are usually $10.00.2 points

ahhh but like I said all KR808D-1's are the same. V2 is expensive. You can get a starter kit at litecigusa for about $30 cheaper and they have great customer service. I have a problem with affiliate site owners who only hype suppliers because they make a profit off of them.2 points

Just playing devils advocate here, but you will most likely find yourself vaping a lot more than you smoked due to its acceptance in places where smoking is not. For example, I am sitting at my desk vaping as I type this instead of waiting till I have time to go outside and smoke. Just advice, take or leave it lol. I do not think you will be happy with a 400mah VV but maybe I am thinking of myself.1 point -

I knew there was something about you....... I have been GM of a Buick GMC dealership for the last 9 years, and was GM of another one the 8 years prior to moving here. I am a HUGE GMC guy. I drive a 2013 GMC Sierra Z-71 and my wife drives a 2012 GMC Yukon Denali lol. I could convert you I think. There is always time to improve ones vehicular decision making haha. I did hear the 2015 Fords are coming standard with a heated rear bumper so your hands don't freeze when pushing them lol.1 point -
I vape such a variety of flavors, even non-flavored throughout the day, week, that I don't really worry myself over it. I've got one flavor that is colored up a real pretty green, which I vape for about an hour a day, to change my palette up. (it's a really strong flavor!). I try to stay away from oil/butter flavors, even though those can taste the best ever. But, it's been recommended to vape only Water Base Food Flavorings, to avoid the microwaved buttered popcorn syndrome. (I forget what it's called). The flavoring keeps me vaping instead of smoking, and if it replaces 4 million problems with one new one, so be it. I'm a grown up, & if I can't handle a problem by now, I never will.1 point

Wow. I just thought this morning as I was opening my two new spinners (no factory charge - grrrrr) about how much gear I've accumulated in just a few months of vaping! This thread makes me feel better - good to know I'm not alone lol! * Two Vision Spinner 1300mah VV (eagerly charging for first use!) * Two eGo-C Twist 1000mah VV * Two eGo Twist T 650mah * Two 7s Hybrid 650mah * Two Blu starter kits * Two Kanger Protanks * Four 7s Cartos * About 15 assorted juices Wait, do replacement coils count? LMAO - coming soon to an eBay listing near you...1 point

I don't know that there is any data to support or deny safety of any food coloring. Then again, the flavorings are not intended for vaping either. Personally I would use another type of identifier. pin striping for model cars/planes? I use the small fingernail stickers...stick well and easy to replace if they come off.1 point

Marketplace: Tax and shipping...?
Deckyon reacted to Christopher for a topic
As soon as we saw your email I know who you where (I know people by their first names better than their forum names sometimes) You're correct you were charged $5.99 for shipping which was my mistake (I got a phone call this evening telling me to fix the mistake ha ha) I added the 30ML bottles in the system and forgot to select "free shipping" in the admin panel. I'm sure I'm due a write up Anyway Roger is opening a ticket for you and refunding the $5.99 back to your account. You should get a notification shortly1 point -

Keep in mind the 400mah might only last 6 hours before needing to be charged, I have a 650mah ego twist (basically the same as a spinner) and I got about 9 hours to a full charge but I also go through 2.5 ml minimum in a day1 point -
Tam found an awesome Vision VT clearo i cant wait to try out. One version is 2.8 ml and the big one is 5ml. Changeable coil and the tank is plastic. You can take both ends off it. She did a review yesterday. Check it out1 point

mechanical mod vs VV/VW
CascadianExotics reacted to Rixter for a topic
I love mech mods because since there's no circuitry, they're perfect for providing unregulated power to rebuildable atomizers (RBAs), but for a first mod, I'd highly recommend the Sigelei Zmax Flat Top Telescope VW. VariTube.com has a complete starter kit for $84.95 shipped.1 point -
it really does sound like withdraw. I haven't heard of anybody with those complaints other than related to withdrawal. If it continues, you can always try 100%VG and see if that helps. PG is in thousands of products we use everyday from food to medicine. Nicotine is the least of the withdrawal process....cigarettes contain so many additives to keep the addiction going....coming off of them is the hard part. Vaping really is worth it !!! you will feel better soon.1 point

Marketplace: Tax and shipping...?
Tam reacted to Christopher for a topic
Sorry to taking so long to get back to this, today was a busy day The Marketplace is a multi vendor store. So if you purchase items from more than one vendor, you will be charge multiple shipping rates the same as you would on Amazon for example. Items ship from multiple locations. We do still offer free shipping (and have no plans to change that) You can find Vapor Talk's products by visiting the Marketplace home page, looking to the left and selecting "Vapor Talk" from the vendor list. Then "View vendor products." That will show you all products currently sold by Vapor Talk. Any of those products purchased will result in free shipping. Also, when shopping in the Marketplace you'll notice a "product filter" on the left hand side. There is an option to select "free shipping." Doing so will remove any products that do not offer free shipping making it easier for you to keep costs down. Alternatively the Vapor Talk store should be back up and running by the end of this weekend. Given the fact we're now handling transactions for multiple vendors and hundreds of orders we needed to upgrade out payment system to something a little more advanced than we were using before. If you ever have questions or concerns please don't hesitate to open a ticket and we will always address your concerns. You're also welcome to vent on us if we do something wrong1 point -
good review. i've always wanted to try one but like you said not really sure i want to go dropping $25 on a single atty. and at this point, dripping is almost a thing of the past for me, i'm just really wanting convenience these days and ce-whatever's just really fit the bill for me.1 point

gotta agree with Uma on this one. she's obviously got a LOT of issues and probably needs quite a bit of therapy and medication to get that in line, however him sitting their laughing at her like that doesn't help the situation, and he was (even if it was minute) purposely pushing buttons to get a reaction. Egging her on so to speak.1 point

Needing E liquid Advice
Bradb2014 reacted to bcartervol98 for a topic
I drink a ton of sodas, and for that matter a ton of Makers Mark on the weekends and I get dehydrated as hell now and never have before. That is the only side effect I have had. I have to force myself to drink a bottle of water for every two drinks I have and cut back my soda intake by only having one a day at work with lunch and drinking water the rest of the day. It has helped me immensely. I got so dehydrated over Memorial Day weekend I ended up in the hospital with congestive heart issues because I rehydrated faster than my body could process the fluid and ended up with about 12lbs of unwanted fluid that wouldn't go out. Needless to say, constant hydration is key with vaping.1 point -

Oh, and litecigusa is AWESOME!!! That was the first vendor I ever ordered from. I still do occasionally but since he stopped carrying High Caliber I don't as much as I used to. He does have some new juices I really want to try though. Customer service is great and shipping is fast... 1-2 days it's in my mailbox. Then again I'm in PA.1 point

And just to be clear here, I normally ban people who spam suppliers. There is no way you can give an unbiased review when you profit from it. This is disingenuous at best. You are free to post here, but do not provide links to your affiliate site again.1 point
