I love the smell of vape in the morning!
Uma and 2 others reacted to Thesheepdog for a topic
It smells like....Victory! No way could I get these feelings from a patch. The taste and satisfaction of the plume. Ah! I would do this even if I didnt need the nic. It is emotionally fulfilling, centering, and reflective. Everything I thought tobacco was at one time before the romance of it wore off and the slavery started. Y'all have a great day and keep on vaping!3 points -

How to fix a leaky T3

I don't have any of these issues with the pro tank, no leaks, no gurgling, no flooding, but the concrete floor will shatter 12 points -

Having bad luck :-/
Uma reacted to SouthWestPayDay for a topic
The RIVA battery I just bought on July 3rd already died. It would only hold a charge for like 4 or 5 hours. I went back to The Vapor Bar and Wendy was real cool and explained to me why the battery crapped out so soon. A combination of not letting the battery die completely before I charge it and using my cellphone wall plug on the USB cord charger they gave me. Because of bad information her employees gave me when I bought it she gave me a new RIVA battery, this one has a passthrough charger. She also gave me a new cord for the passthrough and a wall plug as well. Now an hour after I get it, the button keeps sticking and I have to keep pushing it in order to get it to stop. I just can't win! :-/1 point -

Exposing the Public to E-cigs - A good Thing
Uma reacted to bcartervol98 for a topic
I agree, and so does my sons pediatrician and our family physician. I use mine in public a lot the same way as I did when I smoked analogs. I do not want to make others uncomfortable, so usually if I am in a non smoking establishment I will go to the bathroom to do it unless it is a setting where I feel comfortable enough to ask about it. Several local bars and restaurants in my city that are non smoking actually have signs now that say "No Smoking" (E-Cigs allowed).1 point -
Okay, I think I got it. Thank you so much!!!! breathing breathing breathing1 point

The bolded is something that should be in every post to a noob lol. Just because something "sounds good" or because you think since you like cherries you will like cherry liquid doesn't mean it is so. That has by far been my biggest expense, finding what I like. Now that I have done that I am ordering 100ml. At first I would order 30 or 50ml of stuff to try, and would get pissed when I didnt like it. Both my go to suppliers, VapeDudes and Sweet-Vapes have sample packs. I am not a Mount Baker Vapor fan after trying a few but a lot of people do. For truly "cheap" liquid you cant find cheaper per ml than Dekang but it tastes like moldy sweat socks smell to me. I have tried liquid from over a dozen suppliers in the last 90 days lol, and I haven't liked everything from anyone. Its truly trial and error. As much as I loathed menthol analogs I am amazed that I rarely vape anything that is not Peppermint or Spearmint anymore.1 point -
This post made my day better! Thank you! That first Vape of Blackberry in the morning! yum!1 point

I easily get 24 hours out of my 1000mah Egos, 30-36 out of my Spinner 1300mah per charge. Ordered a couple 400mah minis and I get about 10-12 hours out of those, and my wifes new "bedazzled" 650mah designer Egos last about 18-20 hours. Of ocurse everyone vapes differently, but for the most part she and I use the same stuff and we get almost identical time between charges.1 point -
Riva's are a clone of the original eGo, more affordable but not near as well made. Vaping for 6 hours is normal between charges, unless it's a large battery, then you should be getting anywhere from 6-10 hours. (hard to pinpoint when we all vape so differently). The sticky button is unfortunately the most common complaint with the Riva's. I would exchange it right away. They should know about the button and be more than prepared for it. When you can afford it, (which happens overnight once you realize you have enough flavors, attys, and batteries and you don't need to buy any more smokes either), I would invest in the eGo Twist or the Vision Spinner either one. That's not saying they don't have occasional quirksr, but your chances of not getting any are better. The original eGo's will last a good 6 months before needing replacement, but don't be surprised when you're still vaping them a year or more later. Sorry you're having problems, that really sux. (but that's life, even in the world of vaping. Fortunately, the Vendors and posters usually more than make up for it).1 point

any way u could send me the link to the clearomizers/coils? Also, will those fit onto either of those batteries you suggested?1 point

Thanks Uma! The leaking is just a bit, but still had me worried. I also have an Ego-K ( I think that's what it is ) and I just noticed this morning that the tank on that is leaking out the bottom too! But still it's just a small amount. Just a sprinkle, not a downpour Also, even though the liquid is leaking, there is no vapor coming out of the bottom of the tanks so it must be alright.1 point

I would recommend for your back up clearomizers (the tank that holds your juice) you look at the kanger T3S and get a few of those and the replaceable coils.1 point

She also told me the new one she gave me would be good for 18 hours of straight vaping. I got it at 7:00pm and it is now dead at 11:45pm. I'm not a mathematician or anything but it's not 18 hours yet, I'm pretty sure. :-/1 point -
I have a really hard time believing that, Tam Buster is man's best friend. If you hug him, he wont let you stop. If you sit on the couch, he has this way of creeping in to your lap really slowly like you wont notice he's doing anything. Lol1 point
-
it can. its all going to depend on your vaping habits. but i will preach like the rest of the forum here that you should always have a backup to everything. batteries, clearomizer/tank/cartomizer, charger, juice, etc. because if you truly want to quit you dont want to give yourself a reason to buy a pack of cigarettes. Start up costs can get expensive if you let it but if you control your spending and only buy quality items the first time around chances are you wont have to replace them unless you want to1 point
-
well do you have a link to the batteries you bought? or a picture of them? you probably are wanting something along the lines of a 650mAh battery like this one here: http://www.theveteranvaper.com/joye-ego-c-twist-650mah-battery/ or these: http://www.theveteranvaper.com/joye-ego-c-upgrade-650mah-battery/ those are short batteries and have a decent charge depending on how much you vape. if you chain vape regularly you are gonna want a bigger battery. my wife started where you did with this but once she realized that you aren't going to compete with anything like a cigarette as far as size. the better the battery the bigger it usually is. same way with mods and tanks. hope that helps and welcome to the forum!1 point

there are only the T3S and T3. So when you get them pull out the bottom of the tank (it unscrews) and check and see if the coil is removable. If you can unscrew the coil its a T3S which is the newer version. If it doesnt (which isnt a big deal) its the T3. Now you can buy just the base of the T3S as replacements and such. So get a couple of those and replacement coils and essentially without the logo... you have a T3S. the seperate base and coil makes it a smoother changeout for the coils and it helps with the leaking issue. The only thing i haven't run into with these is flooding. I have heard some people complain about flooding in them but i haven't had it happen to me yet. I haven't tried to rewick one yet but i will be rewicking and rebuilding a pro tank coil... so im pretty positive it will be the same way.... since its the same coil... with a smaller flange on the bottom of it. You're gonna be fine Uma. Breathe..... woooosaahhhhh1 point

since a lot of us either have them or just won them in Brian's contest (thank you very much brian!) I found this video by GrimmGreen and figured you DIY'ers would appreciate it. pretty simple build and a nice alternative to buying endless replacements. I just bought 20 from brian and i will be trying this rebuild as soon as my kanthal and silica come in. I am half tempted to try another cotton build... but i dont want it to keep flooding like the last one so maybe that one will wait for the weekend. lol1 point

In my opinion, the T3 doesn't provide as much flavor and warmth as the T2 does. This is probably because the T2's coil and wick assembly is at the top of the air path as opposed to the bottom coil placement of the T3. The T2 is also a little easier to fill because all you have to do is unscrew the drip tip. The T3 must be removed from the battery and disassembled to fill.1 point
-
YES LET IT SOAK!!! I made the mistake of filling it with rootbeer... and then i hit it right away. I instantly burned the wick (now i could have been overzealous with the eVic being at 4.2v lol ) but after i replaced it and let it sit... its hits beautifully!1 point

Whats the difference?
Patricia reacted to bcartervol98 for a topic
Yes you have to assemble it the first time. Just screw in the coil, fill from the bottom, screw the base with the coil on tight and you are ready! One trick I have started using with mine is to stick a Qtip through the mouthpiece making it impossible to get liquid in the center hole. They are a little trickier to fill than the T2s I am used to. Yea, I would give it a few minutes to soak up before the first hit.1 point -

Looking at switching from the T2s I have loved to the bottom feeding T3S also from Kanger. Ordered 10 in assorted colors and 10 replacement coils. I think I will like the bottomfeeder better after how much I like the way the KPT works.1 point -
Whats the difference?
Uma reacted to bcartervol98 for a topic
Just ordered some T3S bottomfeeders. I am sick of dealing with wicks anyway. The KPT I got opened my eyes to how much more advanced the bottomfeeders are. From being able to change the coils with a full tank to the way the liquid feeds I think I will be able to safely say the T2s I have loved so long are about to be put in the "bullpen" lol.1 point -

It has to do with the way heat affects certain flavors, When its about 1/2 full it has been heated and cooled many times which causes some liquids to darken and lose flavor. If its really darkened, I dump and refill.1 point

Bump Everytime You Buy Something New

My wife just placed a order with fasttech. 14 ce4's, a vv battery and a charger for about $34. Now to wait a little while on it to get here.1 point -
Rice Crispies? Sorry, couldn't resist. It could be that you got a little juice down the center post. Take off the clearomizer, hold a tissue loosely over the bottom where it screws into the battery, blow into the mouth piece. Dab the juice out of the bottom as well as the battery well. Screw the clearomizer back on and vape. Any better?1 point

Noob Question about Clearomizers and Juice.
Deckyon reacted to Love2VapeDaily for a topic
I used to use rubbing alcohol before the vodka. But the old flavor never really washed out with rubbing alcohol. The vodka also brought the performance back to closer to new. Even ce4 I washed with rubbing alcohol had a increase in performance after letting them soak in vodka and most wicks look new after vodka unlike rubbing alcohol that never cleaned the wicks completely.1 point -
Aint much but decided to try my first carto. Picked up a SmokTech 5ml Dual Coil Cartomizer. Things almost as big as my 1300 Spinner Really lovin the taste and throat hit these throw out and cheap to boot. Not sure how long they last but for $31 point
-
Congrats on your Lt2! I love the brilliant colors for those. A lot of cartos dribble a little onto the 510 connection. It's only a problem when it "leaks" a lot. Toss any that piss instead of dribble. The sizzling snap crackle pop of a good carto/atomizer is what we vapers live for. UNLESS it's crazy popping juice all over the place, then it means there's a short somewhere, and should be tossed. You can pick up an OHM reader from say MadVapes or CloudsofVapor and check your cartos and attys OHMs. It will let you know if there is a short. These are especially great for bulk cartos/attys, to test when they arrive, so you can send back the doa ones within the store's short time limit. With that said, if it's your battery that's snap crackling and popping, take that battery out, toss it properly, and replace with a new battery.1 point
