Hi everyone! I'm Kara! Im 26 years old and I have had a 10 year pack a day smoking habit. I decided Sunday morning when i woke up and couldnt breathe from all the smoking id done the night before that I do not want to ever feel that way again. I cheated once and had a couple drags of a cigarette last night, but i felt awful about it! Ive been trying to use those lozenges, they have actually helped for the cravings, however i dont know what to do with my hands. I have made the decision to use e cigarettes mainly because I love smoking. I just dont want all the garbage that comes along with it. Ive been pouring over forums all day and I havent actually had the urge to go outside and smoke, which is amazing to me. I think that the support of people who have similiar feelings can really help me. I appreciate any and all suggestions like what you use and so on. Thank you in advance!

OMG the smell of a smoker now is borderline repulsive, and I mean that in a nice way because I smelled that way for 27 years. I just never realized it. Now that my wife has stopped and can smell the same thing, I am confident she will never pick up an analog again unless our government decides to ban it or something stupid.

Since Uma is "twisting my arm" to do so....LOL :p You can't go wrong with a RSST. For the money, ease of setup, and how comparatively little time spent troubleshooting, there is no better "Beginner" Genny out there. TBH, the RSST is more of a confidence-builder when it comes to Genesis attys. The wick hole is insulated, and located "miles away" from the positive and negative posts, giving the user plenty of room to work with little fear of shorting out your build. In addition to the insulated wick hole, the tank bottom is sealed, ensuring you won't accidentally bottom out your wick. The only issue I've had with leaking was when I removed the fill plug, and put the unit in my pocket. This is because the fill hole is located in a bad spot should you ever lose, or decide to remove the plug. So, you need to either get your wick to work right and not lose the plug, or leave your RSST at home. Honestly, I've been looking at getting an AGA-T series. My buddy has one, and its a pretty sweet little performance machine. If you can set one of those up, you can set up ANY Genny out there.

IMO you need to own both. There is just something about pullin off an auto batt that I don't get with manual.

AS most can tell you about me; I was grouchy and whiny, and asked 10 thousand questions. One moment I was upbeat and all was cool then I was hurting. I found that with the small cigarette looking devices I was not getting enough nicotine. The Njoy said 24mg on it but I wasnt getting all of it. The small first system I tried was not delivering enough nic to keep me level. I didnt understand that. It was only the acceptance and concern of a few and one in particular that kept me going. The small cheapie kits dont do the job adequately. Yes they look like a cigarette but if you are still jonesing and nervous and upset like I was then just know that using proper equipment will help you win. Smoking tobacco leads to sickness and death. But before it kills you it takes away your strength and joy. Using the nicotine replacement e-smoke devices we are using has the best chance of bringing you back from the brink. If you use this stuff we use and get into it like a hobby and hang with us as a group I now have the opinion that it will work. And you will enjoy the trip!

Just got in two designer batteries for my wife from Sweet-Vapes. They are EgO 650mah and are bedazzled lol. One is "purple fade" and one is "pink wide stripe" and I know she is gonna love them. They also run at 4.2v standard and thats her sweet spot. I also got myself 2 400mah Ego minis to use on the lake and when in and around the water. If they get wet, they were only $8 lol. Got a KPT as a gift from a forum member, much appreciated, and I love it but will be my at home thing as it is too heavy and clunky to haul around everywhere but has the best taste and hit of anything I have tried.

Welcome Dennis! Yeah that 24 is rough for me too ! I thought since I smoked so much Id start right off high but now im finding out I need to mellow out and that even though I smoked I never "liked" the flavor per se.just the nicotine lol so now I can enjoy my flavors like vanilla ! im going to get some 6 to dillute it with or maybe no nicotine to dilute with same flavor. ~And hey sheepdog, how far are you from orlando ? I finally got one to try and am amazed at the vapor production over anything else I have used right out of the box. I am more of a "feel" guy than visual so I am not too worried about the vapor even though with 70-30 it looks like a cloud coming out of my mouth with this Pro-Tank. I may order one more. The only "downside" I have found is the lack of portability, weight, and fragile nature of the tank itself. I am gonna make my KPT my "at home device" and still use the T2s when "on the go". It also is much "louder" when I hit it, I can hear it cooking the liquid a lot more than my T2s. I would say it produces 50% more vapor and throat hit than my T2s do. Apparently mine does also Jeff. It was red with the once in a while green blink so that threw me. I am learning fast daily but still have lots to know! The neat thing is that the more I learn the more I am enjoying vaping! I have gone from a small cigarette style battery and mini cart or mini tank getting minimal nic to an Ego battery, Boge LR carts and even drip tips. I am vaping clouds now that can be almost seen on weather radar! Plus my nic level is very good. Me is very level now!

Spinners are a great batt, but the price is way high...try the marketplace, or veteran, my brick and mortar is 5 bucks cheaper!

Welcome to the family Dennis! I am very new here but already have been made to feel a part of the family. You will feel included very soon. If their is anything that makes me crazy it is the e-juice. You are so much better off if you have a store nearby to visit. Even better if they will let you sample. I dont have such a place as this yet in my area. Some are great as soon as you get them and some are vile for a while. I have learned that every individual person is different in what they think is good and what they think is vile! So most of our opinions may or may not help you much. Its a bit of experimentation. Just get one or two you can vape to get your nic levels up so you wont jump ship then expand once you are sane!

Isn't the pro tank bad ***, I have noticed it will mute some throat hit. I got a juice that I love the flavor off but in the ce4 it has a harsh throat hit and the kpt its always smooth, flavorful, and lots of vapor.

VapeDudes "Strawberry Fields" is one of my top three flavors. The Strawberry from Sweet-Vapes is great as well. The difference to me was the Strawberry Fiekds is like a real strawberry and the one from Sweet-Vapes is more like a strawberry candy. Both great in their own ways.

Yes it will stay lit green on the charger when the battery its full Mine also flashes green like yours when its getting close to fully charged.

I think manual and auto both have their place manual does give a better vape and the auto like Bebop said hands free always comes in handy.

USPS says my pkg from Honk Kong (Fast Tech) was accepted for transit to the US today. I guess thats good? Any guesses how long a transit that is till delivery? One week? Two?

I wish they made the AGA-T in different styles but with the same guts. I'd buy one for every mech mod I own.

I use one called Strawnanna Smoothie from NicQuids. Very smooth very sweet. I could vape it all day and today I did!

Like ViperRon, I have the Volt (x smokelessimage) sealed automatics for gaming and for those times I just need a a ciggie between my fingers reading the magazine times. The Volt is a league all it's own with the automatic batteries, unless the other places have caught up. (maybe they have?) Anyway, it is a regulated 3.6volt vape if I remember right, which is a darn good vape. The maunal batteries have more ooomph for some reason, and the passthrough one especially has lots of power for it being considered a 3.6 or 3.7. Anyway, back to the automatics. The Volts don't turn on in a breeze (wind might be different, I really don't know, cuz it was always cupped in my hand or in my mouth lol). Whichever one you get, make sure to take the carto/tank/whatever off the battery before refilling. Automatics like the Volt are sealed, but they are not completely totally sealed or they wouldn't be able to work. Some different brands of auto's are not sealed at all. I haven't tried the eRoll or others yet. I'm soooooo behind. I'm sure they're great though!

When I took the parts out of the vinegar, all the gaskets were melted/misshapen, so I threw the whole mess in the garbage and decided that a sub-$10 RBA is probably not the wisest purchase I ever made. Live and learn.

Things I really like: 1. The comradery of the folks on this forum. It really helps. 2. I really like (love) a certain lady who sent me a load of juice 15 bottles plus in various types. She took the time to care if I made it. 3. She also sent me T2's, CE5's, CE4's, and other clear's. 5. She also sent me tips and LR carts and an Ego purple battery! With charger! 6. She also decided to ship it overnight mail at considerable expense to be sure I got it quick. 7. I really like not jonesing for once for nic. I was not getting enough and now I am. 8. I really like that I now know I can make it and be comfortable doing it! 9. I also like that I have been charged with paying this forward to another when I time is right!

Welcome !! Glad you made the switch. It really will be an amazing journey. Finding the right flavors is always the challenge. would definitely look at 18mg (less Harsh). Can save the 24 mg for if you are having a particularly bad day. find sites (or places) that sell smaller bottles will help.

hey welcome! and nice starter! as far as juice.. .there are tones of options. you can make your own... there are plenty of online sites to order from... and then there are plenty of brick and mortar stores in the bigger cities. i would suggest if you can find a brick and mortar store that will let you try the juice before buying it you will be far happier with that purchase! I think I will get a 24mg once I can actually get a vendor who's juice is ready to use. It doesnt do me any good having juices in the steep that I cannot use. That is a good idea tho Tam. One I had not thought of. I thought I could pick 12 and just be ok. I still have not had an analog but did get an Njoy Bold disposable. They are strong and helped. Yea I will boost up my nic when I order next. Funny how none of this seems obvious to me now. It sure does when you say it.

If I were you, and this is just my opinion, mind... I'd go with a 24 mg juice. If it's a bit strong you don't have to vape as much or as often but you'll get the hit you need. Initially, I'd start with that and then go to a lower level. If you're coming off of cigars, that's a lot of nicotine compared to a cigarette. Just my two cents.
