    where to get good juices

My dearest blu, Im happy you have a juice vendor that satisfies your needs. Thats all that really matters. Everyone has a vendor they tend to gravitate towards and thats great. Sometimes we forget the main goal we all share is to not smoke anymore. ps... since you own TVR can I get some free juice? @Tam you are now off my Christmas card list

  4. Wow. That is impressive.Even now when I am vaping I still think of the cigar or pipe. I dislike the smell of burning tobacco now for some reason, but somehow it still calls. I won't consider myself free until I dont get that anymore. That is testimony to how this "Electronic Cigarette" stuff works. Awesome stuff.

    where to get good juices

I've never been anything but impressed with TVR, that's y i recommend them so much. In fact the only juice i've ever tried that i enjoyed more than any of theirs was Boba's, but in my humble opinion Boba's puts every other juice to shame. And i know a lot of people would disagree with me on that statement, so, obviously at the end of the day it's everyone's own personal preference. I don't know, i just love the way they run their business and as i've said more times than i can count (aside from the impossible to get ahold of Boba's) they have by far the best juices i've ever had. Flavor, vapor, and throat hit are second to none others i've ever tried. Prices are good, customer service is excellent, $10 30ml if it's a flavor of the week, free 15ml's for first time customers, free 15ml's if you refer someone, every order gets a free 3ml sampler. Guess i'm just a sucker for them. But i'll stop talking about how much i love them before someone comes by and accuses me of being a co-owner hahahaha. Sorry, had to.

  9. That's a good point. Speaking of lotterys I won a little over $150.00 in NC last night on powerball -which will help offset some of the money I used nonlinear this weekend purchasing new flavors of juice.

  10. I see a LOT of posts in this forum about "What do I need to get started" and things like that. People that started with BLU and others that find it is not very affordable and battery life is awful etc... I thought I would post a pic and description of my kit that never leaves my side these days, costs, and such. Maybe it will help someone else, maybe not. Either way I am bored at work so here it is lol. First I bought a starter kit from VapeDudes but they are available everywhere for similar prices. The kit contained the two smaller EgoT 1000mah batteries shown below, 2 CE4 clearomizers (I use T2s now and that is what is pictured), 3 10ml bottles of liquid, and all charging accessories. I get over 24 hours out of each batter per charge if I am using one exclusively. They run about 3.5v and hold full power the entire cycle from full charge to blinking that they need to be charged. Cost $38.99 Then I ordered two Vision Spinner 1300MAH batteries to be able to experience variable voltage. They are more affordable than one would think that is using a pharmacy-mall kit. I get 30-36hours out of one charge if using them solely, but usually I have two in action at the same time. I like the way some taste better on the smaller batteries from my started kit and some at higher voltages on the Spinner. Cost $24.95 x 2 = $49.90 The T2 clearomizer, made by Kanger, also called the Ego CC Longwick Clearomizer is my favorits clearo. It holds 2.4ml (more than the mini nova at half the cost), is super easy to fill because the coil head sticks well above the rim of the tank making it virtually impossible to get liquid where it shouldn't be. Great vapor and throat hit too and they never leak, at least in my experience. The only minor downside is you have to check the coils tightness each time you take off the lid because it fits so tightly onto the top of the coil. Usually mine unscrew a small amount each time I refill. Oh replacement coils are about $2 and I find depending on the liquid and voltage they last 2-3 weeks on average. Cost: $4.39 x 5 = $21.95 The extra large Ego case is a must for me, it fits in my pocket, and makes everything extremely mobile. Cost $11.95 Total cost of everything pictured is around $120. I would also always have a second charger and wall adapter (About $10). I mean, that is about the same cost as 2.5 cartons of analogs and outside of liquids and coil head replacements this will last me approximately 2.5 years if its all I use (using the 300 charge cycle battery life average). I have estimated the cost of the liquids I use to be a cost of about .50 cents per ml and I go through about 2ml a day. Thats $1 a day for liquid and about $2 every few weeks for replacement coils. Just thought this might help some noobs, like I was oh not so long ago. I try and absorb myself in things I do and learn everything about them. Anyway this is my set up, glad to answer any questions you may have. I so appreciate all the advice I got here and want to pay back any way I can.

  11. I have been looking at them recently... and i know Uma has said its not for newer users... but i cant help myself! anything i can replace or rebuild myself... i usually do it. SO! my question is what is the best RBA to start with... but i also dont want to jump into the 200 dollar RBA's either. I have been looking at the ATA T Plus Genesis RBA nad the Vision Eternity RBA. Both are comparable in price and both have good reviews as far as i can see... i just dont want to make a hasty decision and buy a piece of junk. so if anyone has a link to something or a thread that addresses this or just an opinion i would greatly appreciate it! thanks guys! God Bless, Medic

    New to vaping!

Hey everyone! Name is Jill, and I just wanted to say Hi to all the people on here. I'm pretty new to vaping, but I'm learning and loving it so far! I started with a couple disposables and took the plunge and bought a Lavatube Version 2. Did not like that at all! I found a local e-cig store, thankfully. And I purchased an Ego Kit. Super happy with my e-cig now! So happy I can quit smoking cigarettes! Anyways I hope to learn a lot from all you "veterans" of the vaping world! Later! Jill R.

I'd use everclear but can't get it in my state. So I use 100 proof Popov vodka because it's the cheapest of the cheap. No worries with being tempted to drink it.

  24. Poor guy couldn't catch a break. After the first time he took all the precautions but still wound up getting hit again. And again. He now has a lightning rod on his house and stays in his basement when storm clouds appear. Your friend was very lucky to have you around! Which reminds me...I need to recert for CPR I think my card's lapsed.

  33. Out of the untold billions of lithium battery powered devices (not just e-cigs) on the planet, I've only heard a couple of stories about one exploding, Between those stories, many people win lotteries or get struck by lightning. That goes to show you how miniscule your odds are of blowing yourself up while using an e-cig.

  34. Wonder if the heat in the car had something to do with it. Heat is no ones friend.
    1 point
  35. I am wondering if it was really a faulty battery that exploded. With the way the burns are described, she either had it in her lap or she was sitting on it causing the button to be depressed. I once sat on one of my ecigs, had I not caught it in time, the whole thing would have exploded just from the heat of the atomizer. I do believe batteries are just unstable, I had a faulty battery for my laptop that swelled up to a bubble. The batteries were actually recalled for that model. I would not like to be caught in an enclosed space with any battery about to explode and no place to escape to.

  36. Wow that is food for thought and a reason for me to purchase additional back up battery's so I can have enough on hand to keep charged during my awake hours instead of charging my 2 pv at night while sleeping. I am sure I am not the only one that has been chargeing this way. Even laptop battery's have been known to explode and catch houses on fire. Not sure if any lawsuits came out of that or not. People sue over most anything these days. Remember Mcdonalds being sued over hot coffee?

  37. I think I will get a 24mg once I can actually get a vendor who's juice is ready to use. It doesnt do me any good having juices in the steep that I cannot use. That is a good idea tho Tam. One I had not thought of. I thought I could pick 12 and just be ok. I still have not had an analog but did get an Njoy Bold disposable. They are strong and helped. Yea I will boost up my nic when I order next. Funny how none of this seems obvious to me now. It sure does when you say it.

    Vodka wash

I'd wash my atomizers, clearomizers, and cartomizers out with Vodka...but I end up drinking the Vodka before I get to wash anything because using it for something other than inebriation seems like a waste.

  48. Yes on the T2 I use, like many others, you change the coils and the tanks last quite a while. I havent been doing it long enough to know how long the hardware will last, but I have some I have changed the coil 2-3 times and they still vape beautifully. I also tend to be the "king of excess" as my wife puts it, so I ordered 20 of the T2s just to never run out now that I have found that is the delivery system I personally like the best for the category it is in. I cannot see, and have not been given a reason I see as legitimate, to buy the $10-$15 tanks when the T2s do what I need them to do at a fraction of the cost. I use them until the coil goes bad, and this is from 1-3 weeks depending on use. I usually have 4 or 5 in my case at all times and they all get different levels of "playing time". Once it needs to be replaced, I will grab one I have cleaned from another use, install a coil, and replace it. Then the old one gets the bad coil removed and thrown away, soaked in alcohol overnight, set up to dry a couple days, then goes back into the case for future use. Everyone likes different things, but these are a great way to start and then branch out and find out if something else works better for you. I started out using Vision CE4s but they leaked, were a little difficult to fill, and are one piece. Once the coil is gone, its gone, and you throw it away and start over. I find the T2 all around to be what I like best of the things I have tried.
