Brian - The Veteran Vaper

Hello everyone, I just wanted to pop in and give a review for The Veteran Vaper. Being new to anything is always a learning curve and with some great help here on the forum from some great people, I was able to get started with some started items. So, thank you everyone who helped me out. But, my main reason for posting is to say how awesome The Veteran Vaper shop is! Brian thank you so much for your help and the complimentary second Kanger tank , and the great free gift (Kanger EVOD) you sent me. I love it!! Works wonderful and I am enjoying using it very much. You are the best!!!! Anyone who reads this - and is thinking of buying more items for your collection I definitely recommend The Veteran Vaper shop. From my long experience as a professional business person this shop has, what I like to call "Ethical Customer Service"! ECS for short. Providing customs with ECS will only bring them back again and again. That old saying "treat others as you would want them to treat you", well that is what ECS is all about and this company has it and more! Thank you and I will be back to shop again3 points -

Congrats on dropping the stinkies, keep it up and try different flavors. Getting your "flavors" you like seems to be of the hardest things for anyone thats starting to vape.2 points -
Vodka wash
Uma reacted to Love2VapeDaily for a topic
When I clean all my components with vodka most parts I let soak overnight. Does anyone reuse the vodka for cleaning later? As of right now I use it to clean or when I change flavors but I just pour it down the drain. I have thought about reusing it but didn't think it would work as well since it would already have nic, pg, vg and flavors diluted in the used stuff.1 point -
Just about two weeks tobacco free. Started with the disposables (Blu) eCig. Amazed with the taste they put out! Seems they would last over a day at first but then I learned how to suck one down in half a day lol. I found two local vape shops and picked up a egoT with variable voltage in a very purty green. In a hurry I grabbed juice flavor from over hearing another customer. I had misheard the type of flavor....thought they were talkin' tobacco. The shop had no sample so I just grabbed and headed back to work. Turns out I had purchased, "Grapefull Dead"..... Far far from a tobacco flavor.... far from what my mind had assumed. Thought to myself, bet this ones stout, those guys in that band know a mean arse smoke! Nope, 'twas the most rancid grape flavor. Like huffin Welches out in the hot sun! My nicotine needing mind kept hittin that grape until the vape shop opened the very next day!! Found a nice flavor ( I-5 ) and have got better on using the new pipe. Guess the fruit flavors are not my choice....Good god it was nasty!! Good day to all ✌1 point

Anyone used Desire Ecig before?
Tam reacted to bcartervol98 for a topic
EGO is a thread type not a brand. My Ego batteries are just fine, but have never heard of "Desire". I get my batteries from The Veteran Vaper and he has a great selection. I tend to avoid the "deals too good to be true" because almost always in the end, they cost you more than they save. See the thread in the New Member section I wrote titled "Starter Kit Questions". Several have said this helped them.1 point -
i am sure they are the same set as whatever they are selling products for. i doubt they still sell the old style and have the new style coils.1 point

you bought yours from fast tech? i have heard nothing but trouble from them getting the V3. there are people over in ECF still waiting on them.... yeah if you look at them there is no price for them listed... so i assumed they were free and added them... i paid 5 bucks for shipping and i think it was 44 total. lol!1 point

Welcome to VT, NorCal ChrisP! I'm from NorCal too, living off grid and have been enjoying vaping for roughly 3 years now. I love a good Grape, and to me, PSV has a super one called G-spot. There are a lot of flavor vendors out there to try, I've no means tried them all... I get in a rut with the ones that I am presently enjoying. Like Tams said, setting it aside for a week or two (shaking it every day) will sometimes help to merge the flavors into it's intended flavor. Also, I'd like to share that our tastebuds go through a lot of changes after giving up the tar from tobacco cigarettes, which means our preferences for flavors will from this moment on be playing the visa-versa game with us. What you love today, you'll hate tomorrow and then when you revisit months later you'll enjoy it again, and then not, ... always the revolving door of changing tastebuds. If it's perfumy tasting at all, it definitely needs to "steep"... The flavors have not melded together yet. If it's bland, it needs a punch of flavoring or a drop of menthol1 point

I do not remember where I originally got this information from but I use this as a way to get my ohms as close as possible. It is listed as ohms per inch of different gauge wire. Very easy to get the right ohms with this list.... The grape might just need to steep a little while. Try storing it in a dark place, shake once a day and give it a try again in a week or two to see if the flavor gets better for you. Some juices just need a bit of time.... But then again it might also be that fruit flavors aren't for you.1 point

Vivi Nova vs Kanger T2
kitsune reacted to Thesheepdog for a topic
Ah, I love enjoy hearing from the divine Amanda Em. My next purchase after using up the Clear 16's that come with my innokin VW will be a KT3. I'm new to all this and moving slow. Im already a winner because I'm not doing tobacco anymore and Im even getting taste buds back. I can breath better also. Everything Im doing is good so far. What tanks or carts or even batteries I use or try is just all toys for me. I will make this a hobby and enjoy using all of it eventually. I love this place so far as my learning curve is flattened out considerately by you all. Thanks for that and keep it up! You are helping probably many more people than the OP and me!! Now I need to find a cool vape ballcap! (I collect ballcaps) VT should make one!1 point -
I just actually place 2 orders with him. I bought some ego clearomizers and replacement atomizers on the first one and on the second order I bought the joye eVic and a Vision STV tank and he threw in one of the protanks he is giving away in his contest. He was very helpful with letting me know what everything was and why it was good or bad and I made an informed decision from that. So I'm glad I shopped with him and plan on picking up some vision 1300mAh spinners in the near future. And maybe an itaste v3 if he gets them in.1 point

I'll drink to that! Brian is good people and he'll help you with any questions you have. He's been there, done that and now he's devoting his time to helping others get started off right. Thanks for your review, it gives us all a chance to pop in, raise our glass and say here here! I'll drink to that!!1 point

Brian is one of the main reasons why I shop and rec people to The Veteran Vaper. That he has quality stuff at good prices adds to the mix. So far I've not heard one bad thing about anyone who has shopped with him.1 point

Hang in there, Tex. it might be a little rocky at first til you find a flavor that suits you. Sometimes when you are trying new flavors they can be great for a couple of drags but quickly cloy on you. I suggest starting with subtle flavors at first. Maybe a straight tobacco flavor or something subdued like a mild fruit or a cafe mocha. Hang on to the cotton candy because you can add a touch of it to other juices to sweeten them up a little if they're too dull. If you have a smart phone or an iPad do a search on your travel route to locate a place that sells e-juices. Lately, more and more smoke shops and cigarette outlets are carrying some juices if you can't find an actual vape store. If you want to post pictures you have to upload them to a third party site like Flickr and then link the URL. There may be other methods. Good luck!1 point -

Welcome and congrats !! finding the right flavors is always the challenge, especially since our taste buds change so often. I had my last cigarette 4 years ago and haven't looked back !! My husband and kids are just glad I quit smoking...I'm sure my husband wonders if I will ever give up vaping.....Not likely1 point -

Congrats on the switch, stick with it man. My taste buds change alot, I might like flavor A this month but next month it's sitting because I can not stand it.1 point -
Welcome aboard man! And don't discount the cotton candy just yet. The longer you vape the more your taste buds change. I bought a Jamaican colada and couldn't stand it but after a week I tried it again and couldn't put it down. You will probably like the tobacco flavours at first since that's what your used to. I have been doing more fruity and dessert style flavours as of late although I like sweetmint too. So just hold onto it for a bit and if you still don't like it you can always buy a 0mg nicotine flavor and mix it in to overtake the cotton candy. And if all else fails... I'm sure there are people who would take it off your hands around here. Anyway happy vaping man!1 point
