    Thank You Marketplace!

For anybody looking for quality service and supplies: My first purchase through the Marketplace was a great experience. navigating a new site is always a bit tough, but I found the marketplace to be very user friendly. I love the choices from the participating vendors. My order was placed on june 23rd and my products arrived on June 26th and June 27th, and thats shipping to Hawaii. Much like Amazon, Each vendor has its own shipping cost, but some of them offer free shipping. I happened to pick one free and one with low shipping. The Marketplace still has some room to grow, but I was able to find everything I wanted and even somethings I didn't know I wanted. Being able to choose from multiple vendors saved a lot of time jumping from site to site determining who had what. I see much more shopping with the Marketplace in my future!!

  2. Having a bad day? I am the OP and never even mentioned the Pro-Tank in my comparison. Get a job? IN my humble opinion that kind of crosses the line between spirited discussion and just being mean spirited and disagreeable when there is really no call for it. Just my two cents, take it or leave it. I can buy anything I want within reason, but see no reason to buy one tank when I can get 3 of the ones I do like for the same price. I generally have disliked Vision products and prefer Kanger so if I ever want to go with an upgraded tank it would probably be a KPT but for now, I am happy with T2. I havent used either, because no one has given a reason that compels me to. I love my T2s and will continue to use them going forward. I just was wondering if there was some hidden reason I have never heard of to spend the extra money for a Vivi Nova. As I said, I generally steer away from Vision products, and find Kanger to be much more consistent in performance and lack of problems.

  3. One of the most amazing things about vaping is the variety, there is something for everybody. Unlike when we were all smoking.....can't believe I smoked the same thing for 30 years, and hated it most of the time, now thats an addiction !! I prefer the 2 ml clearomizers/tanks. I am not set on any particular setup, I love variety. The only leaking I have had with the vivi nova is from the bottom of the tank....I have found If I put it in my pocket, occasionally the metal bottom of the tank loosens/shifts and allows leaking. I have found its easy enough to reseat it...I just try not to keep it in my pocket. The kangers do occasionally give a burned hit, some kind of wicking problem. Usually it resolves itself, if not, just means its time to replace the coil. I often recommend the vivi novas and kangers to new vapers, very easy to use while learning the ropes. beyond all that......for me, dripping will always be my sweet spot for absolute flavor !!

    Gear is here.

Kit arrived yesterday, figured out today how to use it, and I'm tickled pink. Got the variable battery on the lowest setting, and still get a good throat hit with a short pull. I'm using full flav nic juice to start. I have one full pack of analogs.........and they will be used, but I expect it will be the pack I enjoy most, as with the way my ecig works, I truly expect it will be the last. Also, like to hear of any recommendations for a smaller unit for my next buy, as the one I have is sort of cigar size.

    Vivi Nova vs Kanger T2

Okay, I have 6-KPT's 3-T2s, 2-evodds,2MTTs, another half dozen vivis, some minis, a couple odd ball tanks from smoking crow, and around a dozen ce4,4+,5 types. I kinda went a little overboard at first, then realized I only liked Kangertech stuff. The Tesla I won in a raffle, and that's what led me to KPTs. Needed something hefty on top (anal)! 2.5ml and will almost last a whole day, butI flip flop flavors a lot. In the last six weeks, I have only used KPT's , even on my ego tpe batts....it's really top heavy....on a lanyard chain, really top heavy ..I don't care. Nothing else tastes as well, clean...crisp flavors ..and I've tested, same flavor same batts, different appliance, KPTs win Every time I go back and use something in plastic, or has long wicks, I'm tasting plastic, sometimes slight, but it's there, and from quitting the stinkies my taste buds are spot on, loving every dish my wife makes, shes not that bad a cook ! Or just my buds are back!! Yeah!! Yep plastic, new, old, cleaned, don't matter I taste plastic ! Okay some tanks are like 4 pieces, 2 orings, and a removable tip, and KPT's are 3 total, unit, base, head, and are only gonna leak in one spot, unless you overfilled it. Chrome wrapped Pyrex, stout and sturdy, yes it's glass, guess being careful wih your gear is necessary. But for a glass tank it's feels more like a rock. And as for cleaning, hot water. Okay, now for the airy hit issue. Yes it hits big, and if you pull on it like a vivi, your going to think its airy. Just a relearning curve, that will bring you big clouds and a awesome hit, it's just a lot more of a slower relaxed pull that brings the best out. Yes EVODD heads fit and tighten it up some, and I've tried the oring, rubber band thing around the vents, but really isn't necessary. And on a ego type batt the ring provided not only looks good, but works as an airflow adjustment, if you tighten it up against the bottom of the tank, it tightens the draw even more. I get just as great a vape with a KPT on my ego batts as my tesla, or on a few other APVs or MechMods my friends have allowed me to try. And, as the great Mr G.stated "that's all I have to say about that"

    Vivi Nova vs Kanger T2

Okay, let me straighten this out.. It's not a "my stuff is better that your stuff" thing.. It's a "I have not used this product, but I have heard that it's bad" thing.. You can't believe everything you read on the internut, I have read this and I have read that..so what.. I have used the thing, have practical experience using it, have found all the pros and cons, and how to improve them, yet your the expert. Stating that you have some type of a consensus that the forum as a whole, is what set me off. Stating your some kind of expert, and should listen to you, even tho you haven't used the appliance, but you've read about it is what set me off. Replying on every single post because you state your unemployed and have nothing better to do, and can't even afford juice is what set me off, I apologize to all who were offended Bcarter s reviewsi are on point, as well as many others, some are just blowing smoke, and actually I think some are supplier linked and always pointing in the same direction, and getting that discount... You can smell em... I have never tried to provide any type of expert knowledge about anything to anyone. Only if I have used it, broke it, fixed it or built it, myself. I might read Road and Track and Aquatics Monthly never missing a issue, but I'm not going to tell you what car to buy, Or you bought a bad car, unless I have owned it myself. Once again SORRY That i blew out my jets, but felt necessary, but won't happen again I should of just asked myself....what would Tam do?!?!!

    Vivi Nova vs Kanger T2

Time out....Time to play nice. This isn't ECF, we really do try to keep things a little more friendly and family oriented. Name calling is certainly not a part of this forum. I am sorry your thread was hijacked bcarter. several people have tried to redirect toward discussion. discussion and differing opinions are welcome, bashing...not so much !

  9. Yes. I get all my accessories and batteries from Brian at The Veteran Vaper. He is also a member of the Marketplace here. The T2 is also called the Ego CC longwick Clearomizer. There is a med and short wick version but I prefer the longwicks as a whole. The replacement coils are $2 if you buy 10 or more, and the T2 comes standard with a 1.8ohm coil. The way I tell is taste. Once a coil is gone the liquid will start to have a burned taste, and sometimes will get very dark. It happens when the heating element that heats the wick finally scorches the wick and once that happens it is done. Some people rebuild them, and that is an option, but for me and for $2 I chunk em and replace.

  10. Yes on the T2 I use, like many others, you change the coils and the tanks last quite a while. I havent been doing it long enough to know how long the hardware will last, but I have some I have changed the coil 2-3 times and they still vape beautifully. I also tend to be the "king of excess" as my wife puts it, so I ordered 20 of the T2s just to never run out now that I have found that is the delivery system I personally like the best for the category it is in. I cannot see, and have not been given a reason I see as legitimate, to buy the $10-$15 tanks when the T2s do what I need them to do at a fraction of the cost. I use them until the coil goes bad, and this is from 1-3 weeks depending on use. I usually have 4 or 5 in my case at all times and they all get different levels of "playing time". Once it needs to be replaced, I will grab one I have cleaned from another use, install a coil, and replace it. Then the old one gets the bad coil removed and thrown away, soaked in alcohol overnight, set up to dry a couple days, then goes back into the case for future use. Everyone likes different things, but these are a great way to start and then branch out and find out if something else works better for you. I started out using Vision CE4s but they leaked, were a little difficult to fill, and are one piece. Once the coil is gone, its gone, and you throw it away and start over. I find the T2 all around to be what I like best of the things I have tried.

    Cooler vape

Menthol/mint will have that cooler feeling too. A lot of flavors use a touch of menthol to help bring out the main flavor of your vape.

Just an FYI...and your mileage may vary as we're all different but many vapers tend to vape more often than we smoked. Even at 24 mg and having been a pack a day smoker, we're getting a bit less nicotine per draw. I know I've cut down on the nic since I've started though. I keep everything from 0 to 24 mg and switch around using more when I need it or can take less "vape breaks" and need a quick hit of nicotine. When I'm at home and relaxing I'll chain vape anything from 0 - 12 mg depending on my mood. In my refrigerator you'll find five packs of unopened Marlboro Lights. That's what I had when I walked away from them and haven't wanted to go back. I do look at them periodically when I open the fridge and just...smile as I get a bottle of water and close the door. They're a good reminder of where I was and how much better I feel today knowing I don't even want them anymore.

    Volt Spinner

You most certainly can. But, adapters weaken the experience a little. Not a whole lot, but a little. But then, with the adaptable Spinner, all should be back to normal.
