Thanks for all the info! I've gotten a decent grasp on the Vamo and how to use it now. Its made vaping even more enjoyable.1 point

That's what I thought but wanted to make sure. Great way to describe them, Joe. Thanks!1 point

I've been watching Dog and Clay's juice reviews on YouTube......they're vote for worst is Crab, Parmesan Cheese and Grilled Shrimp. Talk about hurl. :P1 point -
Here's a great video review from Phil Busardo, and it includes instructions on the Vamo's menu interface (including hidden options):1 point

That's correct; it's one or the other. Personally, I prefer the variable power mode to the variable voltage mode as there's less math involved. Also, your Vamo will automatically make voltage adjustments as the atty/carto/tank's resistance level changes over time with use. The Vamo has its own built-in protection circuitry, so there's no need to use circuitry-protected batteries unless you want backup protection. As far as performance goes, I can tell no difference at all between using circuitry-protected batteries and using IMR batteries.1 point

As someone who is new to vaping simplicity is probably the way to go. You can branch out later. I'd suggest a Kangor T2 (aka eGo 2.4 ml CC changeable coil) or a Vivi Nova. The T2 comes with a stock 1.8 ohm coil if I remember correctly. Either a 1.8 or 2.4 ohm coil on the Vivi Nova. I could be off just an ohm or two but it wouldn't matter with a variable voltage device. Juice is an extremely personal thing. What tastes great to one person will be vile to another. My personal favorite site for juice is EC Blends. They have over 400 different flavors and ways to customize each one in quite a few different ways. Their prices are low and customer service excellent. Others on this forum love Mt. Baker Vaper and Vape Dudes. The Vapor Room and Sweet-Vapes.com (make sure to use the hyphen), are also very popular sites for juices.1 point

Also, with a gadget called "Zorbas," you can turn your mechanical mod into an 18-watt regulated powerhouse. (Personally, I prefer a gadget called a "Genesis" with a 0.8 ohm coil build that turns my mechanical mod into a 22+-watt unregulated smokestack.....but that's just me!! :p )1 point -
Just because Brian's been working so hard to stock Vision Spinners I bought one from The Veteran Vaper through the Vapor Talk Market Place. The black 1300 mAh Spinner came in yesterday along with 5 eGo 2.4 ml CC Long Wick clearomizers. Fabulous customer service as always and fast shipping.1 point

I use both, and personally, not much difference in throat hit and vapor production. I just like variation. If you like the kanger you really don't need to have the vivi nova. I really like both of them.1 point

Happy birthday! And what a great gift to yourself: an extra battery. Don't forget to get an extra charger sometime soon. People sometimes think those are infallable but they can also stop working. Nothing sucks worse than to have a handful of dead batteries with no working charger.1 point

Lapsing to Analogs When You Can't Charge Your Battery
LavenderWoman100 reacted to Tam for a topic
This is why it's important to have back-ups. And back-ups for the back-ups. Don't beat yourself up for the analogs, just get back in the saddle and go for it again. It's a good experience that now you know how the analogs feel and what they do to your lungs so you'll be more motivated to get off them for good.1 point -
Just came in the mail: 29 bridgeless Smoktech 2.0 atomizers from Mt. Baker Vapor. They threw in a bottle of Johnny Chimpo e-liquid but I have no idea what flavor that is -- it's not listed on their website. Waiting on an order from The Veteran Vapor right now. It should be here soon-ish.1 point
