    Joke of the Day :)

A husband, tired of his wife asking him how she looks, buys her a full-length mirror. This does little to help, as now she just stands in front of the mirror, looking at herself, asking him how she looks. One day, fresh out of the shower, she is yet again in front of the mirror, now complaining that her breasts are too small. Uncharacteristically, the husband comes up with a suggestion. “If you want your breasts to grow, then every day take a piece of toilet paper and rub it between your breasts for a few seconds.” Willing to try anything, the wife fetches a piece of toilet paper, and stands in front of the mirror, rubbing it between her breasts. “How long will this take?” she asks. “They’ll grow larger over a period of years,” he replies. ... The wife stops. “Why do you think rubbing a piece of toilet paper between my breasts everyday will make my breasts grow over the years?” she asks. The husband shrugs, “Why not, it worked for your ass, didn’t it?”

Have you become an avid collector my dear? You're in good company. Can't wait til my Nahual is finished! Take your time. Once you start in, there's no going back. Except, of course, you'll keep the Clearo's for taking to the bar or anywhere you don't want to lose your precious babies. And you'll need to vape one while you're setting one up... unless of course, you have a fine collection of RBA's ready to vape while you're changing one out. Hey! I resemble that remark!

All atomizers are "compatible" with direct dripping, but not all atomizers are compatible with your battery. You can get adapters for them, though. That said, if you're using an eGo type of battery or Vision Spinners, the 510 (not the 510-T because that's different from what you're wanting), 901s and 306s will fit without having to get an adapter. Since you're just starting out I would recommend you go with a 510 atty. You can change flavors but I would also suggest that you go with one type of flavor per atomizer. Fruit flavors in one, bakery flavors in another, stronger flavors like coffee in still another different atty. Each flavor will linger for a while even after you put a different flavor in, which is why, although you can change flavors much easier than when using a clearomizer, you don't want to taste something like coffee, blueberry cheese cake, menthol tobacco, peanut butter all at the same time...or maybe you might like it.

  7. I suspect you will have a hard time finding exactly what is in the flavorings. Mostly because its proprietary. "Trade Secrets". You can only hope or trust that the FDA has done their homework. But a lot of things are approved for human consumption that may not in actual fact be "good for you". Take aspartame for example used as a sweetener in diet drinks. It's FDA approved but - we'll, google it when you have a few hours, lol A quality flavoring shouldn't be too bad. Natural extracts, sometimes some food dyes and some kind of base to suspend it all together. One of the DIY guys might have more info on this. But there is a significant amount of flavoring in a juice. I've seen upwards of 20%. It can't hurt to stay away from heavily dyed, perfumed, overly sweet juices. You have to remember we are consuming food products and not in a way intended by the manufacturers. Personally, I think more research needs to go in to this area for vaping to really come of age. Vaping has been done for years, apparently pretty safely. Be a smart consumer and know where your stuff comes from. This is my opinion and speculation and is not to be taken as pure fact

Originally Janty developed the Ego and Joye manufactured it. Since then, other manufacturers copied the Ego style and name.

    Ingredients in flavoring agents

The places that I buy from all use either food grade flavoring that's already out there in things we eat or extract the flavors themselves. If she's concerned she might want to try something from Virgin Vapor. Link is here to their FAQ page where they tell you what's in their juice: http://www.virginvapor.com/pages/frequently-asked-questions

Njoy is NJUNK ! But how a lot of us got started, so help yourself and don't spend 75.00 to gather dust. EGO is a thread type, not a brand.... Always do what Tam says!

I've removed bridges and wicks before, Mike. And I did it successfully, much to my surprise. While I see the advantages of removing the bridge, I'm very curious what the difference would be in removing the wicks. *runs to get tweezers to experiment on wick removal*

Some atomizers have bridges, some of them are wider than others while some don't have bridges at all (bridgeless). I think it's just a matter of personal preference. I started out with Joytech 510 1.8 ohm atomizers. You can get those from the Vapor Talk Market here at a very reasonable price. RBA stands for ReBuildable Atomizers, these are ones you can rebuild. Not something I'd recommend to a new vapor, however. Maybe later when you're more used to direct dripping? When you get the atomizer, you'll notice an oily liquid inside the package/bag it comes in. Take the atty out, wipe it down, blow into the opening (make sure you put a tissue lightly over the end that screws into the battery), and you'll get some liquid out. I always do this to get the liquid out -- I think it's just VG to keep things from drying out too much -- and then I put some tissue into the atty for a while so it soaks up the rest. Then, once that's done I put it on the battery, and the first time out you'll need between four and six drops of juice, wait 30 seconds for it to prime and vape. You'll get around four draws the first time around before you need more liquid. You'll taste a metallic, icky flavor that's the indicator you need more juice. Then, put in about 2 - 3 more drops and vape. Once I get past the first time, I usually only use two drops at a time after. http://vaportalk.com/marketplace/joye-510-atomizer-clone.html There. I'd go with the regular resistence, that's usually around 2.0 - 2.2 ohm if I remember correctly. The 1.5 ohm runs much hotter.

I'd go with the first kit with the Vision Spinners and then with either the EVODs or T3s, either one is very good in my opinion. The others I'm not so wild about, but you can't go wrong with the Spinners. The EVODs and T3s are easy to use, especially for someone new to vaping. Then, I'd go with a 24 mg of nicotine liquid since you're trying to get off analogs. You can cut back on the nicotine later when you no longer crave regular cigarettes. Common rule of thumb goes: 24 mg = full flavor cigarettes like Marlboro Reds 12 mg = light flavor like Marlboro Lights 6 mg = ultra lights Those are just round about figures but it gives you a place to start. Good luck, I'm sure you'll fall in love with vaping like the rest of us have!

    Ready to vape.

I tried njoy about 2 years ago, nothing like a analog and far from vaping. Vaping got me of analogs, njoy claimed about 500 puffs per cig I smoked that in a day plus analogs. Vaping got me to stop smoking analogs cold turkey. I was almost 2 packs per day smoker.and the best part about vaping is so many flavors to choose from.

  16. My latest creation- 60% peanut butter, 30% Strawberry fields, 10% waffle. I think I'll bump up the waffle a little bit over the peanut butter but this one's good! Just like mom used to make! Good afternoon snack

I havent gotten there yet, if I ever do. I am very very fond of Kanger T2s for cost and ease of filling, size, and cost of replacement coils.

You're a lucky mom to have such a thoughtful daughter. I'm glad you liked it enough to start researching for something that is more suiting to your needs. The suggestions suggested are good ones. I switched to vaping 3 years ago, with the eGo and today I use the eGo Twist and the Vision Spinner. They're all great little batteries. The Twist & the Spinner lets you dial the power up for more ooomph whenever you want to. Tork it or mild it, either way. You can vape your eliquid at 3.7volts (mild-ish) clear on through the numbers til you reach 4.8volts. Most of us prefer 3.8volt or 4.2, depending on our eliquid at the moment, or the time of day. I like the Viva Nova clearomizer thingie on mine. It's easy to fill, provides great flavor, and you can get replaceable coils for when the coils give out on you. Great little gadget that holds quite a bit of eLiquid to get you through many many hours without having to refill. The ProTank is a good one too. I use to enjoy the Boge Cartomisers. You can even get these pre-filled at places like eCigXpress.com (they have empty ones too, for you to put your own flavors in). The cartomisers are pretty easy to use. I always dreaded refill day though. Oh, it wasn't hard to do, I just wished to spend my time doing other things. Today I spend hours with the RBA. Close your ears, you don't want to hear about these yet. But when you're ready for them, there's nothing better.

    PG/VG mix up

Does their terms of sale mention how they deal with returns? Most places that sell e-liquids do not allow you to send it back because they don't know for sure if it's been tampered with once it's left their store. I'd send another email if you haven't gotten an email saying that your order has shipped. If it has shipped, why not give it a try? You never know, you might like this ratio.

  23. First off, I am not a doctor. I can tell you however that I know someone who is on antidepressants and has been vaping over a year with no problems. As always I suggest you talk with your doctor if you have questions.
