  1. I bought a Filipino Mechanical Mod "Brass Mortar" with copper contacts for a low voltage drop so i can get as much power from my batts as possible to heat up my dual coils on the "Nimbus Atomizer.

  2. 1 - extra long purple drip tip from Diamond Vapor 30 - 2.0 ohm Smoktech bridgeless atomizers from Mt. Baker Vaper. They also threw in a bottle of 'America' e-juice. I am now officially ready for the zombie apocalypse. ETA: Oh, and something else that just came in? A freakin' miller. It's fluttering all around my head and going back and forth to my monitor. *sighs*

  3. As to further hijack the thread, I am also a herp enthusiast and my son genetically got the bug. He has an albino tangerine Honduran, a piebald ball python, an amelanistic corn, and an ornate box turtle. All were rescued from being abandoned in apartments in my area and dorms at the local college. Animal control has be on speed dial, I have rescued and relocated over 50 herps in the last year. I used to be a partner in Mid South Herpetological Supply back in the 90s when Crutchfield and others were just starting to get into the specialty Boas and Pythons and I had the pleasure of holding the first Leucistic Burmese Python documented way back in the day.

Thanks Uma!!! You're right, there is no better feeling than that of self-reliance.....except for the feeling you get when having to reduce your nic level because your new Genny setup kicks like a horse. Though, the only 6mg liquid I have is a different flavor...and I don't wanna tear down my build because its been working so good!!!

Sweeeeet!!! Those coils are lookin' good.!! When you're hot you're hot. LOL, I feel the excitement in your post too. It takes me back to my first coil and wick & how it felt to make something so foreign to me come to life. I love it. There's no feeling that can compete with self-reliance of our vaping.

  7. First off, Congrats for switching (mostly) over to vaping! I agree with the great advice the others gave you and have only a few other things to share. You might not be getting enough nicotine, as suggested, and I would seriously picking up a stronger dosage. Many of us, in fact, use several different mods, with several different mg levels in them. For instance, when you have to go hours between vapes, a 36mg in one of your setups will help you get through those dreaded hours. I have to use 50/50 vg/pg mix or else the TH is too strong in mostly PG version. Everyone is different. If your 36pg is too strong, then pick up some 36mg VG and mix until you find your comfort spot. (90/10, 80/20, 70/30, etc). Devote this one to break times and so forth where you can't vape like you wish to. Meanwhile, In another setup, use your 11mg for the steady vaping sessions. You can improve the hit by improving your vaping gear. For instance, if you are vaping a good but gentle Joye 510 or 808, I would save that for night time use when you're relaxing and chilling and pick up a Vision Spinner for typical day usage. The gentle batterys give you approx 3.2--3.7v of power, but the Spinner can go from 3.7 -- 4.8v of power which really helps. The draws we take are also shorter with these. With the gentle batteries we have to take long slow draws (great during chilling time), because the juice takes longer to heat up. With the Vision Spinner type of battery we can take short draws because the battery is able to heat the juice quicker. It's the difference between low and high heat on your stove when you're trying to boil water. Those 4 or 5 cigs that won't leave you are the challenging ones. You'll have to challenge yourself to omit one of them at a time and super celebrate when you finally do it. The hardest one for me was the bedtime one. Even though I had gone all day without a smoke, I couldn't bear the thought of not having a cig for such an overnight length of time. Many a night I stayed wide awake vaping, on purpose, just so I wouldn't have to have that nitey cig. I roll my eyes at myself, but that was me. I accepted me and I challenged me eventually. And when I finally went to bed, without my nitey cig, I awoke in the morning with the flavor of Apples dancing on my tongue. Wow. The first one in the morning was suddenly replaced by more of that wonderful apple flavor that only my apple ejuice provided. I accidentally killed 2 birds with one challenge. You'll get there. It's a matter of finding the right, for you, setup and juice. You have the "want to", now it's just a matter of the "can do". In the meantime, count all the cigs you have NOT smoked... yeh... pretty darn sweet. But I know it can be sweeter, just don't give up yet. Best of luck to you!

  9. I had free shipping on my entire order with some in house coupon. That made me feel a little better. Yeah, I will let you know on the smileomozer's. From the reviews I have read or seen they seem to be spot on. I will try to do a review on it after I have tested it for a few days. I'm surprised no one else from this forum has done a review on the unit. I waited a while for one to come out and none did, so I just jumped right into the deep end.

  10. Hi folks, Since I'm not ordering from Juicy Vapor anymore (if you don't know, the co-owner was arrested and charged with some pretty abhorrent crimes. I'm an attorney and I resolutely believe in innocent-before-proven-guilty, but if he turns out to be guilty, I don't want to be funding his legal defense), I've been hunting for a good Caramel Macchiato or equivalent. I've tried: Vapor Talk (of course) - sorry Chris, maybe I got a bad batch, but it doesn't taste good and I don't want to bother you with a support ticket. Virgin Vapor's "Organic Caramel Kona Milkshake" - the best so far, but a strong alcohol flavor mixed in that I'm getting tired of. DIY Flavor Shack - tastes like burnt coffee, no caramel flavor at all. Any other Caramel Macchiato lovers out there? Where can I find a good one? Thanks in advance!

  11. I haven't used V4L's Vapor Zeus yet, but I do have one of their Dial-A-Volts, which I won on a Vapor For Life contest thread right here on this forum. I can tell you that the auto-switch is by far the most responsive of any auto PV I've ever used. It activates instantly with the slightest draw, but has never fired on its own, like some other autos I've used. Lemme know how the Smilomizers (3.5 ml. soft tip cartos) work out for you...I've been wanting to try one out for a while now, but at $7.50 a piece (and almost as much for shipping), I'm a little hesitant. They do give the device the look of a futuristic cigar, though. V4L's Vapor Zeus with Smileomizer

  12. Just bought the overly expensive (money not an issue obviously) vapor zeus auto starter kit and some spare smileomizers from vapor4life. I also put in an order for 7 different e-juices from mister-e-liquid. Now I must wait for a few weeks for it all to be delivered to me in Iraq from a friend who is traveling back to the US for a couple weeks. I'm excited but the long wait is a certain buzz killer.
