Kanger Pro Tank
Uma reacted to CaptStuBeans for a topic
I didn't see a thread here about the Kanger Pro Tank, and was hoping we could have a single thread to discuss this bad boy. My initial thoughts: Pros They are built like a tank (get it?) I have yet to have one leak Pyrex ! Easy to set up Easy to fill Easy to clean Super easy to see your juice level. Comes in a nice case, with two atomizers and a collar thingy Price (wont break your bank) Cons Airy draw (when will someone make a universal tip to go on top!!!!). Heavy (im a ego-spinner battery kinda guy) I have purchased five of them from Mt Baker for $22.95. I have seen them a smidgen cheaper, but often out of stock, and I tend to buy 85% of my juice from MBV. Would love to hear other's thoughts, links on who carries them....sort of the be all end all thread for the product.1 point -

New At Vaping and Have a ProVari......HELP
Uma reacted to AstaDeBlue for a topic
Hi, I'm so new at this. I have a ProVari and I would like a Clear Tank or Cartomizer, whatever it's called. These Cartomizers that I have from ProVari aren't cutting it. I'm feeling frustrated, adding juice all the time, etc. I want instant gratification. I just stopped smoking Newport 100's, it's been a week. I ordered my juice from Velvet Vapors and it's great. However, I need help in what products (and not necessarily from ProVape) can I order for my ProVari, again, something where I can see the juice, i.e., a clear tank, (still trying to learn the lingo), something...... If any of you Heavy Hitters meaning Experienced Members have any suggestions, that would be great, Signed, Dansel in Distress1 point -
Thats what I figured, and that is precisely why I asked!! I have spent a few months perfecting my recipes (to my taste) and or my versions of "clones" and the crumble topping just gets me..... Ill be refeshing often, hoping to get some answers for us newbie mixers!! Thanks for your post Uma1 point

Oh yum!! I'm still new to DIY, I haven't a clue, but I'll be subscribing to this thread and following along. Kitsune, Mike, and the other guru's will be in shortly, I'm sure. If they don't know right now, you can bet they'll figure it out. They're topnotch chefs.1 point

Yes, the EVOD coils work just fine in the Pro Tank. The one I used to replace the original that came with the Pro Tank is still going strong. The brick and mortar I go to is called Vapor Source. It's in Pueblo and now has two locations. The bigger store with more inventory is on 29th street.1 point

I'm smoke free now for 16 days 18 hours and 45 minutes and have been Vaping for about 3 weeks!!! (-: I also wanted instant gratification and went from my starter kit eGo T to the Provari in about a week. I started with the tanks that came with the Provari and they work great but the constant priming was driving me nuts!!! I got lucky and found the Kanger Pro Tank and it made a huge difference!!! Easy to use, you can see the juice, and the hit is consistent every time... I'm new to this but have been a little obsessed with the whole experience I'm learning but one thing I can tell you is I have no desire to light another cigaret and that's what's driven me!!! Try the Pro Tank I believe you will like it....1 point

I'd suggest either a Vivi Nova or a Pro Tank. Right now I'm leaning more toward the Pro Tank but it's pretty heavy. It works very well, has an airy draw but you can fix that by plugging up some of the air holes so it draws more to your liking. The Veteran Vaper has them available. http://www.theveteranvaper.com/kanger-protank-bcc-with-storage-case/1 point

Got mine just the other day and...man! Talk about some vapor coming out. The first coil burned out in less than 24 hours and I didn't even use it that much. I discovered that my local brick & mortar store carries these so I went to get replacement coils. They handed me a box of EVOD coils and said that they fit the Pro Tank. Thankfully, the coils are very inexpensive. I'm hoping this one lasts longer than the first did. I like the Pro Tank much better than the iClear30.1 point

Kanger Pro Tank
Uma reacted to danpio1217 for a topic
I've found the Protank to be pretty similar to the other Kanger products i've tried, which is 1 or 2 decent vapes then dry dry scratchy scratchy hits. They also do not fair well at all over 7 watts, which IMO is where most seasoned vapers vape. Removing the top wick worked great, throat hit and flavor immediately skyrocketed, and wicking issues disappeared, however it seems to be leaking badly every so often, seemingly when my tank gets low on juice. Any suggestions/thoughts? I'm 95% sure i only removed one wick, but i could be wrong. Guess i'll just have to swap heads and try again. I need to spend more time with these but once that top wick is removed it's really performing impressively.1 point -
I purchased this a few days ago. So far it has been the very best vaping experience I have had. I am running 24mg Mountain Dew juice through it from theecig.com. I have heard that the coil/atty wear out very fast, but I've been vaping the hell out of it for 2 days and so far no signs of it going bad. I ordered 5 more coils just because I would hate to be without vape for any length of time.1 point

Replace the Protank head with the head from the Evod. You're draw will tighten up. Another handyman fix, place one wrap of teflon tape around the post and poke out however many holes you find works for you. There are 4 airflow holes around the base of the protank. I just got mine this weekend and haven't played with the airflow yet. I have however started taking really light slow inhale vs pulls and i don't really notice other then i have to pay attn and not just puff away. But the tank itself is just fabulous so far.1 point

New to RBA's?
Rixter reacted to danpio1217 for a topic
Awesome, will have to try that out on my next wick. Suprisingly tho, my 2nd wick and coil has been holding up beautifully. With a bit of tilting it's been able to wick up every last drop of juice in the tank and i've had nary a dry hit. Hope i still remember how to rebuild it by the time it finally craps out on me1 point -
K100.. Empire Clone
Uma reacted to CascadianExotics for a topic
Awesome!!! How do you like it so far? Was toying with the idea of getting a K100 kit to get kick-started into the world of mechanical mods, but I am not too keen on the look of the mod. Still a great value, so I cannot rule it out just yet...1 point
